Some conflicting signs regarding the restaurant, which was not open due to low season, despite the board in front telling that it's open.

Reviewed Sep 15, 2026Tolle Lage mit wunderschöner Aussicht auf die Berge direkt von unserer Hütte. Einfach erreichbar (direkt am Pass) und trotzdem in der Natur. Campingplatz mit Shop und Essen. Hütte hatte eine sehr gute Heizung. Durch eine Planänderung wollten wir einen Tag früher reisen und die Unterkunft war sehr freundlich und kulant und hat dies genehmigt, trotzdem wir eine nicht stornierbare Option gebucht hatten. Vielen Dank!

We booked the cabin with bathroom and on the 2nd day of our 3 day stay the hot water stopped working in the shower. Also there's a wasps nest under the cabin so we couldn't really sit outside as they started swarming us.

Attention il y a des jetons pour les douches à insérer dans des boîtes pour avoir de l’eau chaude. Mais ils sont disponibles à la réception et si la réception est fermée ils laissent des gobelets avec des jetons à l’intérieur.

Reviewed Aug 29, 2026Perfect location. So close to Trollstigen and trollsvengen bessokcenter. Nice and clean room. We had shared kitchen and bathrooms at the campsite. The kitchen had bark all tools except a knife but that was not an issue. We had a nice stay.

Estaba sucio en cuanto a telarañas en la madera tanto por dentro de la cabaña como por fuera. Quizá necesite una limpieza general.

L'accueil est resté sommaire. Nous n'avons eu aucune information à notre arrivée. C'est au moment d'être sous la douche que nous avons appris qu'il fallait des jetons pour l'eau par exemple. Donc il a fallu retourner à l'accueil et poser nous même toutes les questions sur les choses à savoir sur le camping. C'est particulier.

Reviewed Aug 24, 2026La posizione è comodissima. Sei immerso completamente nella valle. Circondato da montagne. I bagni erano puliti così come la camera.
Il prezzo dei gettoni delle docce e lavatrici chiedono più del doppio di altri campeggi in cui siamo state.. La camera ha una stufetta troppo piccola per scaldare l'intera casetta, abbiamo avuto molto freddo.

WLAN funktionierte nur wenig, Straße war deutlich hörbar, Betten recht eng und einfach. Leider gab es Mitte August kein Frühstücksangebot mehr

Reviewed Aug 14, 2026Está en un entorno privilegiado; en medio de un valle asombroso lleno de vegetación y a un paso de la escalera de los troles. Muy cerca de Andalsnes. Puedes elegir una cabaña de madera bien bonita con su baño y cocina.
En verano puedes tener frío si el tiempo no es bueno; no está bien aislada.

Cabane sans eau courante, propreté à désirer (présence d’insectes morts derrière le frigo) Nécessité de payer pour avoir de l’eau chaude pour les douches, aberrant que ce ne soit pas compris dans le prix de la nuit. Rapport qualité prix déplorable. L’entretien des wc masculin laisse à désirer, le verrou du seul toilette étant HS.

No facility for breakfast. It’s advisable to plan and make your own arrangements for food. Since this is at the base of Trollstigen, there is no grocery shop in near vicinity ( nearest one is in Åndalsnes town I believe)
