Huoneet oli hyvin ahtaat ja suht liikennöity tie suoraan mökin ikkunan takana, joten yöllä oli paljon meteliä. Yhden yön majoituksena menettelee, mutta hinta-laatu suhde ei hyvä.

Reviewed Sep 13, 2026Hi there in Alta River Camping, I liked this over night stay in your camping very much. I had a room with shared bathroom and shared toilet. I liked this house very much, had a wonderful view over the River Alta. The night was perfectly quiet and I had a huge big room with kitchen possibility. The welcome at the reception was warm and professional. Luckily I have brought my evening meal from the petrol station shop in Alta. The checkout was easy-peasy: Cleaning the room with a broom and key in a letterbox. Next time I'll surely stay longer than only one night.

Reviewed Sep 9, 2026Vi hadde et veldig hyggelig opphold på Alta River Camping. Hytta/leiligheten var koselig, ren og trivelig, og sengene var svært gode – vi sov veldig godt under hele oppholdet. Beliggenheten er et stort pluss. Det er flotte og rolige omgivelser rett ved Altaelva, samtidig som det er kort vei inn til Alta sentrum. For oss som var i Alta for å fiske, var dette et spesielt fint utgangspunkt. Området har en avslappet atmosfære og ga virkelig den gode Finnmarksfølelsen vi var ute etter. (Campingportalen) Det eneste vi savnet litt, var noe mer kjøkkenutstyr og gjerne en stekeovn. Det ville gjort det enklere å lage litt mer ordentlig mat når man bor der flere dager. Alt i alt hadde vi et svært godt opphold og trivdes veldig godt. Et koselig sted med flott beliggenhet som vi gjerne kommer tilbake til – og som vi absolutt kan anbefale videre.

Kiva oli päästä saunaan, mutta uiminen joessa olisi ollut kiva, jos vaikka olisi kaivettu monttu jokeen, nyt matkasimme kivillä. Suomi hirsisauna nykyisen paikalle olisi poikaa.

Le camping est idéalement placé le long de la rivière Alta, le cadre est magnifique. Tous les équipements sont disponibles : sauna, toilettes, cuisine…

It's expensive for a campsite 5kms away from the city and there is a 150 fee for the sheets and the towels.

Reviewed Aug 27, 2026I had a room with a view of the river — simply amazing! This is not really a hotel, but rather a large campsite for campers on the outskirts of the city. The center of Alta is about 15 minutes away by bus, although the buses don’t run very often, and it takes around an hour to walk there. There is Wi-Fi, and overall, it’s an ideal place to stay for 2–3 nights.

Reviewed Aug 25, 2026La struttura è molto carina, ci sono vari spazi condivisi, tra cui sala tv, cucina (ce ne sono due) e bagni. Tutto è molto pulito e ordinato. C'è a disposizione anche un servizio caffè/colazione alla reception, con la possibilità di acquistare piccoli snack, l'ho trovato molto utile. Ho apprezzato anche che nel bagno ci fosse il sapone e in cucina il minimo indispensabile per cucinare. Lo staff molto cortese.
Nessuna miglioria sostanziale, è stato un soggiorno molto piacevole!

Reviewed Aug 20, 2026Das Wichtigste: bei der Ankunft trifft man auf Menschen, die sich auskennen und denen man gegebenenfalls Fragen stellen kann. Ein schönes Zimmer in einer ruhigen Ecke des Campingplatzes.
Eine Camping-Hütte ganz ohne Wasser-Anschluss; der Weg zu den Versorgungshäusern kann für ältere Menschen mit schwacher Blase zu lang sein (wohl etwa 50 m).

Reviewed Aug 20, 2026Posto davvero molto bello e tranquillo, Il cottage dove abbiamo alloggiato si trova proprio accanto al fiume, creando un’atmosfera piacevole e rilassante. La struttura è molto carina e pulita, con letti abbastanza comodi. Il bagno del cottage era piuttosto piccolo e non disponeva di doccia: la doccia si trovava in una zona adiacente al cottage, in comune con gli altri ospiti. Il camping è praticamente sul fiume ed è facile da raggiungere, appena fuori dalla E6, poco prima di Alta. Una posizione comoda per chi viaggia lungo la strada, ma allo stesso tempo perfetta per godersi un po’ di pace e natura. Un posto che consiglio sicuramente!
