Just a five minute walk away from the main street area, I enjoyed the surrounds and the dogs greeting me, room was comfortable but would be nice if I could lock the door, was safe enough but I would be nervous recommending it to solo female travellers. The bathroom was decent but was a little concerned about the build-up on the showerhead. Unfortunately, the pool was empty;( maybe they should mention it's only usable during peak season?
-lack of lock or spot for your own padlock - bathroom could be cleaned up -pool empty:,(
Everything is perfect here. The best accomodation I've ever stayed in my life. 10!!!!!!!! I highly recommend this paradise!!!!!!!!! 10!!!! 10!!!!
Tea or coffee coffee should be included at breakfast. Although we had to pay for it , the price is good. Thank you very much for everything!!!!
La amabilidad del anfitrión y de todo el personal, la magia y personalidad que tiene y lo acogedor que es
Todo está perfecto
The property is beautiful and has huge potential. It’s located very centrally which is excellent so you can easily walk into the city to visit the sites and local restaurants etc. The common areas are really nice and relaxing spots for chilling out and the forest setting is beautiful.
Even though I know it’s low season, I feel the property was a bit neglected especially when it came to cleaning which brings the place down quite a bit. If the bathrooms were cleaner and the furniture and pool had a bit of a dusting I’d rate this place a 9/10!
Decoration, tradicional huts and sandy floor. Very silent.
The mosquito net should be bigger to better adapt to the bed size
This was a beautiful place situated perfectly. Very close to town center, while still feeling like a quiet escape. The owner was great to communicate with as well.
The location was great and if there were more people staying the vibe of the place would be nice
After our first night staying and returning from our Sahara desert tour we came back to the lights being out. The owner was outside to tell us that our hut had been burnt down with all our things in it!!! Thankfully nobody was hurt and he was being very apologetic about the situation. He offered to pay back for any of the items that got destroyed but would need time as a lot of work needed to be done on the property. He gave us 3500EGP and cancelled our current night we were staying (I mean where would we have stayed?) We returned the next day to see the wreckage and to see if anything was recoverable but it wasn't. He went to the bank to give us an extra 3500EGP and promised to transfer the rest at a later date. He even let us take a picture of his ID to know that he will be trustworthy. For some time he said he will be able to send it over but it's taking time to go through the bank etc etc but now he has completely ignored me hence why I am writing this review and will be contacting Booking.com on what can be done.
All
I loved the vibe of the place, it's literally natural place for whoever wants to disconnect from the modern life, and in Siwa I wanted to have this experience and the place was quite good for me as a solo traveller male
It's a bit limited space, specially for tall people like me, the location of the place is quite dark in the night
The public space is very big , beautiful and natural. 400 meters far away from gobus drop off spot and 900 meters far away from the center. The shower water is hot it is very important in winter night.
The covers for sleeping in winter is thin and hard blanket so I felt cold at night even I used 2 blankets😭
location snd vibe of the camp is good and i would definitely suggest to go again
I really enjoyed my stay at the camp, they even upgraded my booking which was a great surprise for me. The camp is very spacious and very nice to sit around. Just walking distance to the city centre. Staff are nice and friendly
Forest Camp is just a wonderful place to stay, if you are into nature places and want to be surrounded by tranquility and warming campfires at night. The sleep was very deep and close to nature.
Well, I could say something about cleanliness of bathroom, but were in a Forest Camp for Christs sake :) So nothing to complain. I loved it.
Reviews are right, it's a PERFECT place to stay at Siwa, cheap, and the staff.... Amazing. They can arrange tour for you, with a great price. Very close to the city of Siwa. Thank you for your hospitality 🙏🏼 who's you the best
Very very nice location
Nothing - all perfect
For people who likes camping, it's okay
If you don't like mosquito or ants, this hostel is not for you.
. The fresh air was invigorating, and the location was perfect for enjoying nature. I slept very well unpredictably.
While the location was nice, I was disappointed with the breakfast options, which were lacking in variety. Additionally, the swimming pool was under maintenance during my visit, which was frustrating as I was looking forward to a swim. The room itself was quite cramped, leaving little space for anything beyond sleeping, and it could have been better prepared before my arrival. Overall, while there were some enjoyable aspects, I think improvements are needed in these areas.
So peaceful sleeping under the palm trees in a hut. The pool and lounge areas were wonderful!
It is just amazing. You will enjoy great people and a fantastic camp. Also they got some optional tours which are so great. Just an awsome stay.
I like the atmosphere of this place.
Great breakfast, nice camp and host
For this city, this place was very nice to stay.
At night was very cold even when it was 28° day time🤗
stayed in a single tent. great atmosphere, very friendly chilled atmosphere and staff. lots of cute dogs and great breakfast! fire in the evening with some chill tunes. not to far from the centre of the town. asked for an extra basket as it wasn't very warm at night in February and the brought round and put in the tent for us!
more plugs near tents. improved kitchen area and maybe add a kettle.
Would highly recommend staying here! The setting of the camp is so beautiful, breakfast is delicious, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the guys that run the place are really kind and helpful. They are able to sort you out with any transport or tours in the area - we did one to the salt lake, a hot spring and fantasy island, which was so much fun and a great price. We were also able to check in super early which was much appreciated. The camp is good for socialising if you're looking to meet other people. Also the cuddles with the dogs and puppies were delightful😁thanks so much for a brilliant stay!!🫶
It was clean and comfortable, the location is great and the camp itself is very beautiful Surprisingly good Wi-Fi
It is a very good choice for people who like forests. In the afternoon, the sun shines on the tent, and there is a shadow of a fig tree, which is very beautiful.
Everything was beautiful. Thank you guys!
the place is really beautiful in the middle of the palm trees, it’s very refreshing. In the evening the staff lights a campfire which is very pleasant. The leaf cabins offer a unique and authentic experience in a beautiful environment
I was in one of the leaf cabins and I slept very badly. the mattress and cushion are very hard. but the most complicated thing is that there are a million mosquitoes in the camp, I don't understand how there can be no mosquito nets, it's a question of survival. also having to listen to the same religious songs every morning at breakfast is very annoying. btw I still had a very nice stay there and I really recommend it. but bring a mosquito repellent with you.
Beautiful campsite in Siwa oasis, with a really welcoming courtyard full of palm trees and shadows. A very nice little pool, too. Friendly staff. Tasty breakfast from 9:30 or so
As in all Siwa oasis, one must beware of mosquitoes
Perfect location, fresh dates, Figtree and pomegranate trees around the property, breakfast is really good, the manager is super awesome and very organised very fun to hang out with. Great fresh water pool to swim in and plenty of shade about to keep you cool, the staff are very chill but will always be there when you need. This place is awesome and the accomodation is a perfect way to experience raw siwa oasis
Forest Camp is a little piece of paradise, full of date palms fruit trees and plants The camp is run by marvellous people who I will never forget. So creative and helpful and full of fun. This has been a place very difficult to leave. I loved my hut made of palm fronds. It was very comfortable and atmospheric. There is a pool to swim in and relax by and the Forest people can take you on guided trips to all the sights Every morning I had a delicious breakfast under the trees.
I loved everything No complaints from me.
Nice people, nice location and nice camp
It's a cute place with a great vibe. The staff is really nice and helped us with any problem that we had.
When we left, we had to pay 170 LE for 5 bottles of Water, 3 Eggs, 1 Tea, which is way too much, but as we were late for the bus, we couldn't discuss the price.
Beautiful pool and camp! Very good price
Nothing
Everything was perfect!! Love this place so so much
Such a cute and beautiful set up absolutely loved it
Loved it all bathrooms could be a bit better but still good as they are
This is the place to be in Siwa!! Vibes are chill, Naggar and the guys are amazing. The land is covered in fruit trees and it's part of a date plantation. Location is good as well. Don't forget to try the Siwi juice and enjoy the pool with the little manager Adam!
Breakfast was good. Fun people. Took care of us very well.
Wish we were warned about the mosquitoes better.
None
So bad place I have never seen before to like a scrammer in Egypt I heard before visitting the country. It has no internet for use. Booking included breakfast to be served very late at 10.00 hours to be additionally charged at US$1 per meal. This had been informed after breakfast of the 2nd night to make me ignore breakfast of the remaining two nights. Booking to be confirmed to provide a kettle for making coffee and tea in the room but there is nothing. Kitchen can be used without any to be related about money but charged at LE50 per each use later even it was used for a bowl of instant noodle. If you informed me in advance, I will not use it for very sure.
We booked 3 nights at the forest camp with Naggar and Abu Adam, but we ended staying 7 nights. We spent wonderful times around the fire with many friends of our hosts. They took us to many different places in order to enjoy our time in Siwa. On one evening we went see the sunset on the salt lake, on another one we've been to hot springs at night... Each places is more chill than the one before. The camp is really beautiful and peaceful, it's under the palm trees, it's just like a little paradise. We would love to come back again !
Location - walking distance from bus station. Close to the shops, restaurants, banks, bike rental, as well as Shali ruins and Mountain of Deads. Very friendly, helpful and good-vibe staff. He can help You to arrange tuk-tuk or some tours. Good atmosphere, it feels like small jungle oasis, although actually it is very centric. Fire place in the evening makes even nicer vibe. Reed camping rooms are kind of "romantic" and beds with mosquito nets are comfortable. I got very good sleep. Place is really peaceful and chilling-out. Perfect for backpackers, relaxed people and hippie-type personalities.
The first-it is not a hotel or hostel, it is - camping with reed sheds, so don't expect to get real room. No breakfast included. No any wifi connection in any part of the camping. Although it's ~600m from bus station, it's difficult to find this place, because You have to take second-class pathways and there is no any indications. There was no hot water in women shower, but it was available in male shower. Maybe, it was just bad moment or low water pressure when I was there. As at the night I came back late from hot springs, the staff had forgotten to leave warm blankets for me. I didn't want to wake up anyone and luckily found some blankets around the camp, but as desert nights are cold, be aware to get everything ready for sleeping on time. I think, the price is a bit too high for camping with no breakfast, no internet and very simple facilities.
Good vibes and the team is very helpfull and friendly. We feel totally fine in the good atmosphere the Camp offers.
Should have more blankets by night.
The place if definitely not for the winter times.. tThe garden is nice, but there is no 'housing' don't belive the pictures.'
everything!!!! we had such an incredible time here- this is your sign to book this place! Naggar was so lovely and welcoming and took us some amazing places- including camping in the desert which was insanely magical. The actual camp was so so beautiful and the beds were comfy and no need to worry about mosquitos. bring some spray but they weren’t bad at all. the camp is a lovely short walk to the center of the town. we will come back here and absolutely recommending it to everyone. you will have a phenomenal time we promise!
The camp have a perfect garden, very clean toiletes and kitchen. I loved every minute of my stay there. But the most important... Owner of the camp! Negar, is soooo nice and helful! He took us in the desert and to the hot springs 😍 and he is making a perfect breakfast 😍 Reservation was for 2 days, but loved the camp and Siwa so much, I had to extend my stay for 3 more days ☺️ Negar, hope to see you again!
Nice forest area, just outside of town. Everything is near.,helpful staff
A bit hard to find it,
Absolutely amazing camp! I felt right at home. Loved my bungalow, the beautiful garden, delicious breakfast. Nagar is an absolute angel, helped me with everything I needed, showed me cool local places, and took me with his tuktuk wherever I needed. I wish I could have stayed longer and have been recommending this place to everyone!
It was a camping place in the center of a forest of palm trees and still in walking distance to some of the touristy locations.
Mosquitoes during the summer.
The location is very near to the center and it's a quiet place where you can relax with no problems. Its very beautiful. Many palm trees, like in paradise.
Mosquito nets could be a little bit better because we got bitten like hell but I guess that's only a minor thing.
The camp was awesome! Really quite and clean. Exactly what we were looking for. Also Naggar, the owner of the camp and his brothers made our stay even better by planning the best trips for us! Everything planned really smoothly offering us the best experiences we could have had!
Very friendly staff
Really nice location, close from the Bus terminal. Our Host helped us book tours, brought us to hidden gems and local restaurants. Big recommendation for a Stay in Siwa!
Peace and quiet nice place.,nice and helpfull owner .
