Reviewed Jul 23, 2026La proprietaria è stata davvero molto accogliente e disponibile, facendoci sentire subito a nostro agio. Le camere sono confortevoli. La colazione è super: davvero abbondante e di ottima qualità! La posizione è molto comoda, a pochi minuti a piedi dal centro e servita benissimo, con un supermercato e un distributore nelle immediate vicinanze. Consigliatissimo!

Reviewed Jun 11, 2026Nanou ist sehr nett. Sie kümmert sich um alles. Unser Motorrad stand unterm Dach. Der Kühlschrank war voll mit Getränken, die wir genießen durften. Obendrauf gab es noch ein Bier 🍺😉. Es ist ein altes Haus und dementsprechend ist das Zimmer eingerichtet. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt völlig ausreichend.

Wij mochten inchecken van 17 h tot 21 h. Wij zijn toegekomen (op het juiste adres !) om 17.40 h. Wij hebben aangebeld, eerst aan het inkomhekken (3 x) dan , langs het openstaand poortje naast het hekken, aan de voordeur. (3x). Enkel de hond blafte aan de voordeur. Niemand kwam open doen of ons verwelkomen. Wij hebben een half uur gewacht. Wij hebben verschillende malen opgebeld. Het was telkens het antwoordapparaat. Wij hebben berichten ingesproken.

Met het warme weer was het wel warm op de kamer.

Reviewed May 3, 2026De ontvangst is erg hartelijk. Nanou is een spontane en gezellige gastvrouw. De lokatie ligt prima tov het centrum. De slaapkamer is ruim en het bed is prima. Het ontbijt was erg goed en zonder erom te vragen werd aangeboden om extra broodjes te smeren voor onderweg (en dat bleek nodig want onderweg kwamen we niks tegen).
Er viel niks tegen. En ja: de meubels in de slaapkamer zijn gedateerd maar alles werkt.

Reviewed May 2, 2026Nanou is super gastvrij en hartelijk. Een heel leuke plek om als tussenstop van onze fietstocht naar Parijs te overnachten. Een heerlijk verzorgd ontbijt en we kregen ook nog een goed belegd stokbrood mee voor onderweg, omdat Nanou wist dat we tot aan Laon in Frankrijk geen winkel of café op onze route zouden tegenkomen.

L’accueil a été incroyablement chaleureux : on sent tout de suite que Nanou est une personne bienveillante, passionnée et attentive, avec un véritable amour pour les animaux. Ce lieu a une âme, et cela a rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable.

Reviewed Oct 23, 2025Vriendelijk en hulpzame gastvrouw. Bij ontvangst hebben we samen een Chimay bier gedronken. Ontbijt was goed en voldoende. Tuin wordt mooi onderhouden. De gastvrouw heeft ook 2 grote lieve honden. Er is ook plaats om te parkeren. de foto's op booking komen overeen met de realiteit. Het verblijf bevindt zich ook vlakbij centrum Chimay.

Reviewed May 12, 2025Absolutely everything. Nanou is amazing. Amazing welcome with a beer, sitting outside in the beautiful surroundings. Not much of a dog person but I enjoyed her dogs. Rooms were comfortable, restroom was clean and well-appointed. A 5-minute walk to town. I recommend taking the slightly longer walk around old world neighborhoods to get to the Grand Place. Breakfast at Nanou’s is the best in town. Lots of fresh, local products. Will definitely stay again.

Reviewed Aug 18, 2024The lady with whom we stayed was great. Very friendly and good fun. She provided a very good breakfast. The house was lovely and the location perfect for us. For me perfect.
There are family dogs and my wife is not a dog person. The dogs were however well behaved and under full control. Therefore I was happy and they 'grew ' on my wife. Especially 'Qooper'.

Reviewed Jul 23, 2024This is the host's home, which she shares with her guests. It has a very welcoming, homely and relaxed atmosphere and you can become part of the family. Nanou could not have been more generous. The family love motorcycles so motorcyclists are made very welcome and the parking surface is paved - ideal! This place is very special if you are staying in Chimay to see a race event as it is practically located on the circuit; only a few minutes walk away.
We did not fully understand the setup of the accommodation, because the facilities listing is not totally accurate and a bit misleading. Remember, this is the host's home; there are no ensuite bathrooms, only one shared with three rooms (potentially, 3 different guest groups). There was no advice in advance regarding dogs that live with the host and other animals in a fenced garden, which could be noisy at times. We embraced it all as the personal touch was special indeed and we love animals, but clients should be aware of the type of bed and breakfast accommodation they are booking.
