Reviewed Sep 6, 2026Viel Platz, gemütliches breites Bett, ruhig, heiße Dusche, gutes einfaches Frühstück, der Gastgeber war sehr hilfsbereit, der Strand war ganz in der Nähe, mit dem Colectivo konnte man in die Innenstadt.
Der Vorraum zum Zimmer hätte schöner gestaltet werden können.

Al estar allí lo comprobé... excelente anfitrión Don Emilio, preocupado, amable, siempre dispuesto a ayudar en lo que fuera. Todos los días nos preparó ricos desayunos y debo mencionar que un día salíamos de tour a las 7 a.m y el nos preparó desayuno a las 6:30. Eso se agradece mucho. Muy limpio ordenado y de buen aroma todo. Feliz con mi estadía. Mi pareja y yo lo pasamos increíble. Volvería nuevamente!!!

Reviewed Jun 8, 2026Superó mis expectativas. Don Emilio es muy atento, tanto que a veces me sorprendíó. Estuve 4 noches y nunca había ido a Arica. El sector es tranquilo, con un par de líneas de colectivos que pasan en frente hacia el centro. Está ubicada a unas 10 minutos caminando de la playa y escuelas de surf. La casa tiene varias habitaciones. Si vuelvo a Arica volveré acá..

MAIS après quelques heures on se rend compte de tout le positif: - Emilio est adorable et tres arrangeant pour tout. Petit déjeuner très bon (presque à toute heure) - lave-linge pour 3euros (imbattable) - chambre propre et lit confort - quartier avec commerces de proximité et restos - a 10mins de la plage (plus accessible qu’en ville) - a 10mins en taxi ou a 30mins à pied du centre par la plage (belle balade): rien à faire dans le centre après 22h - rapport qualité prix imbattable ici Je peux que recommander

Muy atento el anfitrion, nos ayudo siempre con nuestros requrimientos
Tal vez un aire acondicionado peqeño en la habitacion para refrescar el ambiente en los picos de calor. aunque si tiene ventilador pero con un aire pequeño quedaria mucho mejor.

Reviewed Feb 2, 2025Emilio was a very considerate host, helpful and discreet. Having access to a kitchen and our own mini fridge in our room was a bonus. Very quiet location. Excellent value for a basic accommodation.
As foreign travellers we did not have a car so found the location not convenient for access to amenities. Uber was a very cheap travel option which we took advantage of to be able to see the town.

Reviewed Aug 28, 2024Emilio’s place is super comfy and clean. The mattress is comfortable, soft bed sheets, silence to sleep, quite good internet connection. Besides all, Emilio is an amazing host. I had a very good and fulfilling breakfast everyday of my stay (and even sometimes I was spoiled with free dinner and teas 😄). The host is a kind hearted and knowledgeable man. The guesthouse is walking distance from playa chinchorro and there is a bakery with all necessities besides the accommodation. I felt right at home.

Reviewed Aug 3, 2023Cozy, spacious room in a very cozy guesthouse. Comfortable bed, good hot shower, very reliable wifi. Great, very well-equipped communal kitchen. Atilio was the kindest, most generous host you could possibly ask for, and he prepared very filling and hearty breakfasts. It's in a quiet, safe residential neighbourhood, a short walk from a very pleasant beach, and a manageable (15-20 minute) walk to restaurants, cafes, and a fairly big mall (Mallplaza).
If you're traveling on foot, there aren't too many food options within the surrounding blocks. You'll need to walk a little further or take a car/taxi.
