Catherine is a lovely friendly host & looked after us well during our short stay. The property has a spectacular view of the coastline / sea from the comfortable front lounge with plenty of reading material about to enjoy.

Great host that understands all guests needs, fantastic view and location.

Very cozy peaceful place to stay. Bed was very comfy. Catherine was very friendly and welcoming. Available if needed. Stunning views from the house.

We stayed at Follies Suites Ballyvoile for four nights and had a wonderful stay. The host was very kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. The location was beautiful, with a lovely view of the ocean. The house and room were extremely clean, organized, and pristine. Everything was thoughtfully set up and made our four-night stay very comfortable. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend Follies Suites Ballyvoile!

Sehr hellhörig, Zimmertüren sehr dünn, leider keine Frühstücksoption,

Haus in traumhafter Lage mit Blick aufs Meer. Wir hatten das Zimmer mit Meerblick. Man konnte aus dem Bett aufs Meer schauen. Gastgeberin sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

The accommodation was very tasteful and comfortable. The host Christine was very welcoming and helpful. Beautiful sea views.

Further out of town than we realised. But the beautiful setting made up for it.

Von der Lage her das Highlight unserer Reise mit fantastischer Aussicht aufs Meer. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, direkt Wohlfühlatmosphäre. Bett superbequem, nachts sehr ruhig. Cathrine hat uns ein jeden Tag ein abwechslungsreiches , kreatives Frühstück frisch zubereitet, dass uns bis abends satt hielt. Der kleine quirlige Küstenort Dungarvan war in 10 Minuten erreichbar. Der 'Greenway' und die 'Coppercoast' vor der Haustür.

Leider hat sich bei der Buchung ein Fehler eingeschlichen und wir mussten im Studio übernachten.

It had a wonderful view and the rural setting is a very relaxing setting. It is located very close to the Waterford Greenway for walking or biking and 8 km to Dungarvan. Meals are not included but breakfast & dinner can be scheduled in advance upon request. This should not be missed. Catherine is an exceptional cook. The food, presentation and setting was exceptional.

Since all of the rooms had doors, it wasn’t clear whether any of the common rooms were available for use. It would have been nice to get out of your room to use the front glassed room to sit & read on a rainy day.

The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, checking in with us beforehand and when we were leaving. Communication throughout was perfect.

The location was perfect!! Not too out of the way from Dungarvan town center, absolutely beautiful environment around it and the house itself was so cute and homey, very well decorated and clean!!

Catherine was AMAZING & the setting couldn't have been better! The bed was beyond comfortable!

We thought we were getting breakfast. Alas, no. We just had incorrect expectations based on reviews that told about Cathetine's kitchen skills! (Maybe she did kitchen karaoke ir yoga for a past guest? 🤣)

The owner was very delightful and informative. The view was spectacular.

The views

Very clean -which I always appreciate , warm, excellent water pressure, quiet & access to trails for running or riding bikes. Also local bike hire in town, which is only a short drive down road. Catherine & son Ben, our hosts were excellent ! Photo added is of local water fall near Dungarven that some locals told us about.

Catherine was very friendly and helpful. The view from her location was exceptional.

We had a lovely stay at Follies Suites. Catherine was so warm and friendly. The house is beautiful and in a beautiful location. Room was excellent and everything was very clean. Would stay again

The lodgings are quiet, peaceful, very tastefully furnished, in a beautiful setting- perfect for a relaxing holiday. Breakfast- the cook knows what she's doing!

Location at beautiful hilltop with stunning sea view. My room with its wall colour, digital piano, both acoustic and electric guitars (!) made me feel home ☺️ (the RC car on the photos are mine)

Beautiful location with a view of the Celtic Sea. Our room was very comfortable albeit a little chilly. Front communal area was very nice.

Some issues with the heat while we were there, probably because it hadn’t been used much yet this season.. The host was responsive and tried to improve it. Would be nice to have easier access to plates, silverware etc if bringing in takeaway.

Great location between Dublin and the Ring of Kerry. We had a nice stay, beautiful view, and host was flexible with our late arrival.

Bedroom was a little cramped with our luggage.

The place was lovely and Catherine was really helpful and always cheerful..the views were to die for and felt very homely

The facilities were poor..not a good place to make tea or coffee ..just a little metal cupboard, no real space. No milk, only 3 teabags, and think for the price, breakfast should be included since it was a long way to the pub so had to pay for breakfast at the house

We didn't have en suite, which was a bit inconvenient. I couldn't leave any of my stuff in the bathroom as i didn't know who else is using it. The owner said it's only us who's using the bathroom, but i think i noticed someone else getting in too

Un lugar plácidamente bello e increíble! Catherine es la perfecta definición de anfitriona: amable, atenta, cuidadosa y detallista! Desde el primer momento nos contactó por booking y estuvo atenta de que llegáramos bien. Llegamos a las 10 de la noche y nos recibió con una sonrisa y una energía geniales. La habitación estaba impoluta, y tenía un montón de detalles, como por ejemplo el café, para el cual disponíamos de una pequeña prensa francesa con café molido, no del típico sobre de café soluble. El lugar es privilegiado, desde nuestra ventana se podía ver el mar y el amanecer aquí tiene una luz especial. Lo mejor llegó por la mañana con el desayuno, dos vasos de yogur con mermelada de frambuesa, croissants verdaderamente crujientes y del día, scones calentitos y una tostada de pan de soda con unos huevos revueltos en los que se notaba una mano habilidosa en la cocina. El bacon perfectamente crunchy! Ojalá este lugar no cierre sus puertas nunca, nos vamos con ganas de haber estado más días!!! Ciao!

Ein kleiner Platz, um sich ein Frühstück zu machen, hat gefehlt. Wasserkocher und ein paar Teller hätten gereicht.

Lovely location with a beautiful view looking over the ocean. Catherine was a friendly host and even went the extra mile to post some items we left behind.

Loved the art work and gorgeous colours, the use of mirrors for light, the location, the hostess Catherine. The location is excellent for the Greenway, beach, town of Dungarvan. Very homely and welcoming. Beautiful touches of style and unique design throughout. Lovely bathroom and extremely comfortable bed. Couldn't recommend more highly. Definitely plan to be back.

There was a ralaxed friendly vibe in the house. Both Catherine and her son Ben were welcomingThe view was fabulous both from the room and breakfast room. The room was spacious and clean. The location was excellent. I would recommend it.

The only think is the breakfast is extra and limited.No problem with it been extra, however if one has a special diet and brought your own food . Full price should not be charged. On saying that I didn't ask either and it certainly did not take from the hospitality of the stay . I would stay again.

I liked, how welcoming and friendly Catherine was. How beautiful and spacious the room was. The extra touches to make it feel luxurious, the decor. The bed and beding was beautiful. The ensuite was beautifully stocked. And that we were able to use the front conservatory, overlooking the sea. There was also an outside area, but unfortunately the weather was too poor for us to use this.
