Great location, welll maintained property and very friendly and helpful hosts. Definitely will return if visiting Wayanad and refer to friends.

The host was welcoming and always ready to help. We stayed downstairs, but I think the rooms upstairs have a better view of Chembra peak. There are some good walking trails through tea gardens near Ald ora which offer great views of Chembra. The breakfast was simple and good.

We had a wonderful stay. The host was very welcoming and made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The food was excellent, and they were very helpful in suggesting nearby attractions and arranging transportation when needed. The property is peaceful, calm, and exceptionally clean. Its location is convenient, with easy access to all the major tourist attractions. Overall, it was a pleasant and enjoyable experience.

We had an awesome experience there. The owner is very humble and helpful. I travelled with my toddler and he made everything very easy and comfortable. You can definitely go for it.

Un séjour parfait, j'ai été accueilli avec gentillesse malgré mon arrivée à 6h du matin bien avant l'heure du check-in, où j'ai pu finir ma nuit dans ma chambre déjà prête avec un petit déjeuner à mon réveil. La chambre était impeccable, la literie super confortable, les petits déjeuners variés et délicieux. Le jardin intérieur est joli comme tout, avec bancs et balançoires pour profiter du lieu, les amoureux des plantes seront comblés ! Hautement recommandé !

Aldora is a very good place to stay in Vythiri It’s very quiet , the room was very clean as the bathroom and a hot shower after a busy day was fantastic ! Roney is a great host. Always ready to help. Organizing our tours , ordering food when we wanted to The breakfast was very good , cooked by Roney ‘s wife. We enjoyed tea in the garden Aldora is a peaceful place. Being a solo traveler for past 20 years, Aldora is one of the best Homestays I have ever stayed, a home away from home. Good location and a great host. Tasty traditional kerala breakfast served with love. Rooms are clean, neat, tidy , well maintained. Hot water available round the clock. Ambience in the small Orchard was beautiful, with flowering plants and chirping birds as hosts . Host Roney Ronaldo is kind , gentle ready to help anytime. Will stay in Aldora,whenever I visit Vythiri next time. Will rate 10 out of 10. Strongly recommended for solo as well as family.

Een erg mooie homestay, zowel binnen als buiten. Heerlijk om op het terras te zitten. Goed idee om het avondeten door een restaurant te laten leveren, het was leuk om eens uit een heel menu te kunnen kiezen. Gastheer Rony was zeer behulpzaam en zorgzaam en checkte constant af of alles ok was. Hij hielp ons met de vervolgtrajecten en vergezelde ons naar de bushalte, waar hij bleef wachten tot hij zeker was tot wij op de bus zaten. Klasse!

It’s perfectly located—right in the heart of Wayanad’s main attractions, yet surrounded by the peaceful serenity of tea plantations. The views of Chembra Peak from the terrace are breathtaking, and the courtyard, adorned with lush plants, adds a charming touch to the house. The hosts are truly exceptional. They welcomed us like family and went above and beyond to help with everything we needed—from motorcycle rentals to recommending places to visit, eat, and even arranging train transfers. We would absolutely stay here again and will definitely recommend it to our friends. Thank you so much for everything!

Everything was perfect!

This is a beautiful home, very tastefully done and all small things taken care of. The location is also perfect, since one is able to cover the whole of Wayanad region. There is a lot of greenery inside the campus, nursed by the super hospitable hosts, and you get great views of green hillocks and tea plantations. Definitely recommend this.

Excellent location and a very hospitable host

First and foremost, kudos to the host for being profoundly hospitable. Their welcome was super calm, check-in was easy and made as convenient as possible. They always went the extra mile to ensure our stay was top notch without any scope for complaints. The rooms were spacious and equipped with all necessary accessories. Not only the rooms but the entire property was super clean without a speck of dirt. One can easily walk within the premises barefoot. The home rests amidst a lot of greens and birds are a company throughout the day. One can spend the entire day sitting on the porch with the unobstructed view of the Chembra peak and the tea gardens soothing ones eyes, or maybe soak the sun and read a book. Breakfast was very tasty and had variety. I would repeat the place whenever I visit the Wayanad again.

Oh man, the breakfast such a delicious one, spare us roney (we ate the bf like a lunch). just literally amazing place to stay in wayanad. Such a beautiful reception right from the entry till we left the place. Roney is such an amazing person always greeted with smile. About the stay: The rooms are one of the cleanest i have experienced in any tourism spots. We had one of the best sleeps away from our home. With 100% confidence i can tell this is home away from home. Don't even think again while booking, this is literally close to most of the tourism spots hardly 15 min.

I stayed for 3 days in aldora with my family. We feel it's one of the best comfortable home stays in the Chuldal area, which is close to Kalpetta town, Wayanad. Very calm place, neet & clean, garden and the hospitality is very good. This stay has nice road connectivity across all the Wayanad tourist spots and is surrounded by good multi cuisine hotels in the Chundal & Kalpetta area. Zip line, lala land, vithri park, Lakkidi view point, pookode lake, ennore tribal village and one more Zipline activities which is tallest and longest one in the wayanad are surrounded around aldora within 3KM distance from the aldora stay.

I don't find any negative in the stay. Everything good and comfortable.

Very sweet family, felt instantly at home. Most delicious breakfast. Cleanest rooms in a very tranquil place. Ronny organised a rikshaw for us during our time there, recommended a doctor when sick and just took really good care of us.

Alas the friendliness was sometimes a bit too much for us, we felt like we couldn't do anything without the host butting in. Like my mom lol.

Our stay in Wayanad couldn't be better! The location in Chundale is perfect, easy to reach to Chembra Peak and Kalpetta. Around the house you can do beautiful walks around the tea fields. The host is very friendly and helpful, he gave us plenty of great tips for what we can do around! He also arranged for us a tuktuk and helped with the connection bus. The breakfast included local food that was delicious! The room was nice and clean. The house has a big and pretty garden where you can read and chill. Thank you very much!

Food is awesome, and as many has reviewed it that property is clean, yes its true, it is superbly clean. Owner stay in the same property and always available for any need.

1. Rooms are very clean (almost new) 2. Ventillation is good 3. Wahroom is very good and nicely maintained. 4. We didn't use AC much, as it was just enough cold in the night. 5. The Chembra mountain view is very good from the balcony. 6. Roney has taken a very good care of us and ensured we had a comfortable stay. The breakfast (puttu) was also very tasty, although I had this cuisine for the 1st time. My kids 7 yrs son & 3 2.5+ yrs daughter also liked the food. 6. Car parking space is available, but limited cars can be parked. 7. Once you go out of their street, the roads and views are very good.

Nothing that I noticed. But, one heads-up would be, the street to reach this home is small. Hope, if you have driven so long to Vythiri, then entering this street would be easy.

A wonderful homestay that we would recommend to everyone. The owner and his family are such kind and lovely people who went out of their way to help us on our journey. They provided a lovely welcome drink on arrival and the room was clean and comfortable. It is located in a peaceful area in Wayanad, right next to a tea plantation that is lovely to walk through to enjoy the sunset.

I felt very welcome and the room and facilities fantastic. Wonderful hot shower comfortable bed and excellent food and hospitality. The location was magnificent because I had hikes and plantations to walk on mountains to hike it's excellent.

We absolutely loved staying at Aldora! It was one of our favourite stays from our trip. The room was beautiful and big with a nice balcony area and views over the tea plantations. The shower was the best we’ve had in India which is something we have missed whilst away. Our hosts were so welcoming with good recommendations on things to do in the area, made us amazing food and always offered us tea or coffee. They even treated us to some cake and snacks. Also, they let us use their washing machine which was so kind of them, we really appreciated it. We would definitely come back!

This is an excellent homestay. Especially the hospitality shown by the Roney is commendable. Rooms are neatly maintained and even toiletries provided. The property has a well maintained garden and outdoor benches which kids will definitely enjoy. My family enjoyed the stay here and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for medium budget rooms in wayanad.

Mr. Roney and his wife were super helpful in terms of providing all information, our needs etc. I was little hesitant about the stay and food since i travelled along with my son (2 years old).
