La nourriture est bonne, et si on attend un petit peu pour être servi, c'est que c'est préparé à la commande avec des produits ultra frais. Le petit déjeuner est varié et bon. La vue de la chambre est superbe, et plein de balades à faire autour. Prêt gratuit de vélos. Le fils nous a aidé à trouver un taxi pour repartir.

Reviewed Apr 9, 2026Best homestay ever. Delicious breakfast and amazing restaurant for dinner. Highly recommend the pork belly, tastes incredible at a great price. My partner is a coeliac and they made sure all of the food she wanted was safe to eat, and she had no bad reactions. The family that owns the place is super friendly and helpful, helped us out with places to visit and where to find things we needed. Bicycles are free to borrow too. Awesome views across the rice paddies from the room too. They even helped us book a bus to our next location at a very reasonable price. Look no further and stay here you won’t regret it.

Reviewed Mar 19, 2026One of the prettiest stays we’ve ever had. The fish pond and garden setting looking over the rice fields is just exquisite. The breakfast was tasty with great variety, especially for a week long stay. Awesome banana bread! The restaurant meals were delicious with great options. The staff are lovely and we will miss this homestay very much. Walking around the rice fields and other small villages watching life happen has been a huge breath for our souls.
Nothing to dislike. Perhaps make the restaurant a non- smoking space would be the only suggestion I would make.

Salle de bain qui sens les égouts et mauvaise insonorisation. Surtout, aucun accueil. L'ambiance était tellement triste qu'on a finalement passé nos repas suivants ailleurs, bien mieux accueillis.

Reviewed Jan 26, 2026Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt hier wirklich sehr genossen! Das Frühstück war fantastisch – sie haben frisch Eier für uns zubereitet und sogar Pfannkuchen gemacht. Überhaupt war das Essen super günstig und definitiv das Beste, das wir bisher in Vietnam gegessen haben. Die Gastgeber waren unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit, man hat sich sofort willkommen gefühlt. Während unseres Aufenthalts war es recht kalt, aber zum Glück gab es Wärmestrahler im Zimmer, die wir problemlos nutzen konnten. Alles in allem war es ein rundum toller Aufenthalt – wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können es nur von Herzen weiterempfehlen!

Les plats sont faits avec beaucoup d’attention, avec des produits de qualité et les jus ou smoothies sont top. La position géographique au cœur des rizières de Mai chau est idéale. Les vélo sont à disposition pour se balader dans les rizières environnantes. L’intégration dans le village thaï de ban lac est un plus. À recommander chaudement.

Reviewed Jan 4, 2026This is our favorite hotel we have stayed in Vietnam- Mai Chau is such a special place and the hotel is clean, simple and comfortable. I could sit in bed and look at the view all day! The staff were kind and friendly. We recommend staying 2-3 nights at least and doing the walk to the cave (there are 1200 stairs, you need good fitness), booking 1 day going to the hot springs, and also biking around to the other villages. But this is also a place where you can just sit, reflect and reset. The best restaurant we went to was Bistro 9 (they did a set menu for $500,000 for 2 people which we booked ahead of time). Give Chopper the dog a little pat on the head for us!

Reviewed Dec 17, 2025El mejor hotel en el que hemos estado durante el viaje a vietnam, las vistas a los arrozales son increíbles, la habitación es grande, la cama enorme, el baño más básico pero perfecto, no necesitábamos nada más. Tienes bicicletas a disposición, el personal adorable, el desayuno super bueno y fresco, muy buena relación calidad precio, la verdad que lo recomiendo muchísimo.

Les chambres sont simples, mais confortables, se réveiller face aux montagnes est génial. Reviewed Nov 29, 2025L'emplacement de ce homestay est parfait, juste à côté de la ville, face à une rizière, avec les petites routes à côté pour aller faire des balades à vélo, tout en étant au calme. La nourriture et les cafés sont délicieux, à tester absolument ! Nous n'avions pas de transfert pour rejoindre Pu Luong et ils ont pu nous en trouver un en 10 minutes. Si on revient à Mai Chau c'est sûr que nous reviendrons dans ce homestay !

Reviewed Nov 12, 2025This was a gem of a place. Our room was great and we loved our balcony that overlooked a rice field. The staff were amazing and we loved everything they cooked for us. Free use of bikes which we used extensively every day. The family is very nice and helpful; we had problems with bike and they pulled out tools to fix it. The construction of the place is so wholesome with beautiful garden, knarled wood making up the balcony and light fixtures, etc, flowers, pond with fish. Its like a mini paradise. The location is perfect to bike around to various villages or to downtown core without being too close to affect the zen of the place. One day we had torrential rain and it was just fun to sit watching from our balcony or from inside their restaurant.
If I would have stayed longer, like a month. Will be back.
