La gentillesse du staff et des guides qui vous accompagnent lors des différentes excursions proposées (cascades de Tetebatu et Benang kelambu, monkeys forest, rizières, villages sassak). Très bon rapport qualité-prix et repas indonésien bon et pas cher.

Sitio precioso. La habitación daba gusto, cama cómoda, un baño enorme y una terraza con vistas espectaculares. El personal de 10, cenamos y desayunamos estupendamente. Además, hay un bonito paseo entre los campos de arroz donde se ubica el mismo alojamiento.

Nous avons particulièrement apprécié notre séjours chez Mu Homestay Tetebatu. L’emplacement est proche des rizières, la chambre était spacieuse et propre (mention spéciale pour la vue du balcon). le personnel était accueillant et le petit déjeuner bon.

Heerlijk bed en een schonen kamer. Het eten is heerlijk en in de avond wordt er regelmatig muziek gemaakt. Er hangt een goede sfeer en er word goed met je mee gedacht. Absoluut een plek om terug te komen.

Beautiful home stay, very relaxing. Mu and his family were lovely and very welcoming we extended our stay here . We did the monkey forest tour with Rio and would highly recommend. We learnt so much and Rio was so much fun

Die Unterkunft ist einfach perfekt. Angefangen vom schönen Aufenthaltsraum/ Restaurant unten. Da haben wir uns total gerne aufgehalten und viele leckere Gerichte probiert. Wir haben sowohl Lunch als auch Dinner immer dort gegessen (Frühstück sowieso, weil es inklusive war). Das Frühstück war auch sehr gut. Wir hatten dreimal hintereinander die Banana Pancakes, weil die so lecker waren. Wir haben immer oben auf unserem Balkon gegessen mit Blick auf den Rinjani. Außerdem gibt es für absolut faire Preise verschiedene Touren, die man problemlos buchen kann: zB eine Tour durch die Dörfer, eine Tour durch die Reisfelder und den Monkey Forest (wo wir black Monkeys und ein orangenes Baby Monkey gesehen haben). An einem Tag haben wir einen Roller gemietet und haben die Gegend erkundet. Alles in allem sehr schön.

Beautiful homestay in the countryside of Tetebatu. good rooms with comfortable beds, good restaurants with great food, very friendly staff, great tours.

Lo mejor donde está ubicado, en plena naturaleza. La excursión que hicimos con ellos muy bien, el guía muy amable y aprendimos mucho. La comida que hacen allí muy buena.

Geen woorden voor hoe fijn het was bij de homestay. Fijne aankomst, schone kamers en leuke guide gehad door Tetebatu.

Nous avions loué la chambre familiale, malheureusement l'étage est très peu isolé, vous entendez donc l'appel à la prière dans la nuit ce qui peut etre un peu dérangeant pour votre sommeil...

Notre séjour chez Mu a été fantastique du début à la fin. La chambre était magnifique, très spacieuse et propre. Nous étions au milieu des rizières. Les guides Andy et Parfois nous ont fait passer une journée géniale pour nous faire découvrir cette magnifique région. Je recommande cet hôtel!!

Het personeel was enorm vriendelijk. Rio die op de gitaar van Nederlandse tot aan Bruno Mars liedjes kon zingen, was iets wat wij niet hadden verwacht! Om vervolgens de dag daarna een hele leuke tour te geven van Tetebatu. Wat een ervaring!

L’hôtesse de l’établissement, Nuri, est exceptionnelle, un accueil chaleureux et de précieux conseils pour que notre séjour se passe au mieux. Très bien situé, proche des plages et de merveilleux lapins, chats et hamsters dans le magnifique jardin.

We hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad bij Mu Homestay en zouden het zonder twijfel aan iedereen aanraden. De kamer was prachtig, erg schoon en de badkamer was modern, ruim en zo goed als nieuw. Vanaf het terras hadden we een prachtig uitzicht over de rijstvelden, wat elke ochtend weer genieten was. Wat deze plek echt bijzonder maakt, is de warme gastvrijheid van Mu en zijn familie. Vanaf het moment dat we aankwamen voelden we ons helemaal thuis. Ze staan altijd voor je klaar, helpen je met alles en zorgen ervoor dat je verblijf onvergetelijk wordt. We hebben de rijstveldtour gedaan, inclusief het Monkey Forest, het proeven van lokale producten zoals cacao- en koffiebonen en een bezoek aan een prachtige waterval. Onze gids Andy was geweldig. Hij vertelde enthousiast over de omgeving, nam alle tijd voor ons en heeft onze tijd in Tetebatu echt extra bijzonder gemaakt. Ook het eten was heerlijk. De saté en de jackfruit curry zijn absolute aanraders! We hebben tijdens onze reis verschillende plekken op Bali en Lombok bezocht, maar hier ervaar je echt nog het authentieke Indonesië. De combinatie van rust, natuur, gastvrijheid en leuke activiteiten maakte dit een van de hoogtepunten van onze reis. Je komt hier helemaal tot rust. Als we ooit teruggaan naar Lombok, verblijven we zeker weer bij Mu Homestay.

De gastvrijheid van de eigenaar! Je kunt er heerlijk eten, je kunt een tour boeken (echt de moeite waard) en alles was schoon.

The people were what made our stay, even though we were also delighted with our little villa in the beautiful garden. The food was lovely and we loved the walk and seeing the monkey forrest, rice paddies and the waterfall with Indra, followed by a lovely lunch and guitar performance of Rio.

Lo mejor es lo agradable que fue todo el personal con nosotros. Nos organizaron una visita de todo el día y aprendimos muchísimo sobre la cultura local. La habitación es enorme, tiene dos pisos para ti, ventanales enormes y una cama super cómoda. La comida del propio homestay está muy rica, no hace falta irse fuera a comer. Es un sitio 100% recomendable tanto para alojarte como para hacer sus tours organizados. Estamos encantados.

Soggiorno davvero bellissimo a Tetebatu! Mu è stato molto ospitale e ci ha fatti sentire subito a casa insieme alla sua famiglia. Essendo un vero homestay, l’atmosfera è autentica, accogliente e familiare. Il cibo era davvero molto buono e la camera aveva una vista splendida sulle piantagioni di riso: svegliarsi con quel panorama è stato uno dei momenti più belli del soggiorno. Abbiamo anche partecipato al tour organizzato da Mu con uno dei ragazzi della struttura, ed è andato ben oltre le nostre aspettative: un vero trekking di oltre tre ore tra risaie, natura e Monkey Forest, molto più autentico e coinvolgente di un semplice giro turistico. Esperienza assolutamente consigliata a chi vuole scoprire la parte più vera e tranquilla di Lombok. Tornerei volentieri!

Mu und sein homestay kümmern sich sehr gut um einen! Für 3 Nächte kann man an einem Tag den Besuch der Reisfelder und des Affenwaldes und am anderen den Besuch der Wasserfälle in der Nähe mit Führung organisieren lassen. Unser Führer Andi war dabei echt informativ und witzig. Essen kann man auch im Homestay. Alle die dort arbeiten, waren durchweg sehr nett und gesprächig.

The room was gorgeous, the grounds are lovely with views to Rinjani. All of the staff are excellent, very warm helpful and welcoming. It’s a home away from home. The breakfast is great. It’s a perfect location to explore the surrounding area by scooter. I extended for an extra three nights!

De Tour met Andi door de rijstvelden was zeker de moeite waard. Ontbijt smaakte goed en werd geserveerd op het balkon met mooi uitzicht. Er wordt veel gitaar gespeeld, wat zorgt voor een leuke sfeer. Ze kunnen je was doen en vervoer regelen. Personeel is ontzettend lief!

We hebben een geweldige tijd gehad op deze prachtige plek in het authentieke Lombok. Er is goed voor ons gezorgd en de mogelijkheden voor activiteiten waren super.

Absolut empfehlenswertes Homestay! Hier passt von der ersten bis zur letzten Minute einfach alles. Mr. Mu ist um seine Gäste allzeit bemüht, die Zimmer und Bungalows mit Blick ins Grüne . Hervorragendes Essen und sogar Frühstück! Die angebotenen Ausflüge mit unserem Guide Andi waren großartig - er erklärt alles über die Region, die Pflanzen und hat uns zu den schönsten Plätzen geführt.

Amazing stay with a local family in a beautifully designed homestay. The family atmosphere here is so special that you won’t want to leave. The staff are absolutely wonderful ,kind, helpful, and always ready to do anything to make you happy. One of the biggest highlights was being able to book local experiences directly at the homestay. I had my own guide and explored local villages, rice fields, and the monkey forest… it was the most incredible experience I’ve had in Lombok. Everything felt so authentic. People in Tetebatu are always smiling, full of joy, and so much fun to be around. In the evenings, there’s guitar playing and singing together, which makes it even more magical. 🥰 And I can’t forget the food… wow, so delicious 🫶🏼 absolutely the best! 🙏 Honestly, I don’t want to leave this place at all.

Das Zimmer war wunderschön! Modern eingerichtet mit allem, was man sich wünscht (Schreibtisch, Stuhl, Kleiderschrank etc.). Das Bad ist wunderschön und die Aussicht von der Terrasse auf Mount Rinjini war einfach nur traumhaft. Die Hosts waren super freundlich und haben sogar das Frühstück auf die Terrasse gebracht. Das Wohlfühlen und Entspannen wird hier sehr einfach gemacht.

Mr. Mu and his wonderful team at Mu Homestay do such a great job at making us feel comfortable and welcome. Our walking tour of the rice fields and exploring the local surroundings on the first day of our stay was excellent with the lovely Andika 🙏 Our room was so peaceful and we slept so well in the very comfortable bed 👌 We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner there and everytime it was so delicious and prepared so beautifully. Myself and my husband could not recommend Mu Homestay more! A truely wonderful and unforgettable stay, and we look forward to making a return some day 🙏❤️

We had a really wonderful stay at MU Homestay. You immediately feel at home here. The location is absolutely stunning! We had a view of Mount Rinjani, and right next to our room there was a rice field where locals were working — such a special experience. The room was spacious and exactly as shown in the photos. Breakfast was included (which we didn’t realize at first), and it was really great! We also had lunch and dinner there, and the food was delicious. We did the tour to the famous waterfalls as well as the Tetebatu tour where you visit rice fields, waterfalls, and more. Our guide, Rio, truly made both experiences unforgettable. All in all, we are extremely satisfied. If we ever come back, we will definitely stay here again. Mr. Mu was very helpful with everything. A solid 10/10 😊

There is a mosque nearby where the call to prayer can be heard very early through loudspeakers. However, this is common throughout the area and is something the homestay has no control over.

Super vriendelijke familie, mooie plek, veel groen en natuur. Uitstekende hospitality en lekker eten.

Eenvoud qua onderkomen is prima, iets meer aandacht voor onderhoud (deur sluitingen, los zittende kranen, spiegel ook op ooghoogte voor langere mensen).

Als er een homestay bestaat die het woord heeft uitgevonden is het Mu homestay. Zulke lieve mensen die alles voor je doen voor een fantastische ervaring in misschien wel de mooiste regio van Lombok

La habitacion era amplia, estaba impecable y muy limpia ademas decorada con muchísimo gusto. Pero lo mejor sin duda fue la amabilidad de Mu y de todas las personas que trabajan con el. Hicimos un tour por los arrozales con Andy 2 que nos encantó, nos explico todo el proceso del cultivo del arroz y pudimos ver todos los pasos. Además también pasamos por el Monkey forest y una cascada. Recomendamos hacer el tour con el, es el mejor! También comimos y cenamos en el homestay, la comida está muy muy buena y se nota que lo hacen todo con mucho cariño. Recomiendo alojarse aquí mucho.

Het eten was heerlijk. De mensen waren allemaal erg aardig en hielpen ons met alles. De kamers zijn echt heel mooi.

Mu est un hôte génial, le bungalow est spacieux et parfait pour une famille (nous etions 3). Les activités proposées sont tops (café, balade dans les rizières) et le restaurant de la guesthouse est très bon !

We stayed with this family for three nights with our two young children, and it was an unforgettable experience. Our little house had two bedrooms and a beautiful view of the surrounding greenery, which made it incredibly peaceful. But above all, what made our stay truly special was getting to know the family and feeling like we were part of their home for a few days. They are wonderfully welcoming and warm. Our daughters spent every day playing inside with their children, and it felt so natural and joyful. The family also cooks delicious meals — some of the best we had in Indonesia. They work with fantastic tour guides as well, who show you the highlights of Tetebatu and the surrounding area for a very fair price. I would recommend this homestay to everyone, especially families with children. It’s a place filled with kindness, authenticity, and genuine hospitality.

Tetebatu is sowieso geweldig! Prachtige rustige locatie en heel veel te doen en te zien. Mu regelde voor mij zelf kokosolie maken en koffie branden bij zijn broer in de achtertuin. Met Andy 2 maakte ik een wandeling door de rijstvelden, een prachtige waterval bezoeken en naar de Monkey Forest (dat laatste is in deze periode lastig om apen te zien). Andy 2 wist hier heel veel over te vertellen, een fijne gids. Het bezoeken van de Sasak dorpjes was ook leuk vooral het bamboe vlechten. Je kunt bij Mu zelf heerlijk eten en er zijn een paar restaurantjes in de buurt. De kamer heeft twee verdiepingen met een prachtig uitzicht op de tuin! Ik was hier vier dagen, maar dat was bijna nog steeds te kort. Ik hoop hier nog zeker terug te komen. Bedankt Mu en Andy 2!!

Als je echt wat meer in het ‘centrum’ wilt zitten, dan moet je wat hogerop in Tetebatu zitten, want het is een langgerekte plek die uit vier dorpen bestaat. Maar de rust hier is perfect! En ja, ook hier hoor je zeker de moskee, maar waar niet…

We had 1 house that was very clean and as showed in the pictures. The staff was very friendly and breakfast was very good. We needed to laundry and it was done from one day to another. We recommend to stay here if you come to Tetebatu, it’s good value for the money.

The only remark was that the breakfast that we asked in the day before was later than we asked so it would create a little bit stress as we had the driver scheduled. Nothing major.

Gorgeous, peaceful little place surrounded by beautiful countryside. Our cabin was great, well equipped, very clean and with a beautiful view. The hosts were so friendly, kind and funny!

Beautiful location and a room with the comfiest bed. Very grateful for the on-site restaurant and team who accommodated vegan dietary requirements, support with transfers (thank you Herman!), and suggestions of activities to do within our stay. Room service on the balcony was an extra big treat too. View pictured. We stayed in the room attached to Mu’s family home and kitchen.

I have become accustomed to filtered water dispensers in the room from other stays in Lombok. This isn’t feasible for every host but was something I missed having access to. Not a deal breaker because you can buy water from reception.

Wir wurden direkt bei der Ankunft mit einem Willkommensdrink (sogar einem leckeren Smoothie!) begrüßt – ein toller Start in unseren Aufenthalt. Das gesamte Personal war unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend – man hat sich wirklich willkommen gefühlt. Unser Zimmer war der absolute Hammer! Geräumig, sauber und mit einem traumhaften Ausblick auf den Rinjani – einfach atemberaubend. Jeder unserer Wünsche wurde erfüllt, egal ob es um kleine Extras oder Informationen ging. Wir haben auch eine Tour gebucht, bei der unser Guide Andy uns begleitet hat. Er war super freundlich, hat alles mit viel Liebe erklärt und war einfach ein großartiger Guide – wir haben uns bei ihm sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Der Fahrer, der uns abgeholt und später auch zu unserem nächsten Hotel gebracht hat, war ebenfalls sehr nett und zuverlässig. Morgens hört man die Moschee, aber das gehört in dieser Region einfach dazu – es war absolut in Ordnung und hat uns nicht gestört. Wer in ein muslimisches Land reist, sollte sich dessen bewusst sein. Insgesamt ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt!

The personal is very friendly. They provide you with tours and workshops which are definitely worth taking! The accomodation also is beautyfull, both inside and outside.

Nous avons passé 2 nuits chez Mu et avons adoré notre séjour. Le duplex est spacieux, confortable et tout était très propre. Tout le personnel est très sympathique et serviable. Vous avez la possibilité de prendre vos repas sur place, il y a également d’autres options de restauration tout autour. L’hébergement est idéalement situé pour visiter Tetebatu, nous avons d’ailleurs booké l’excursion rizières, cascade, forêt de singes directement sur place (30€ pour 2 adultes). Notre guide, Andy, était super et apprend le français donc très sympa pour échanger. Nous avons fait l’excursion avec notre fils de 5 ans et notre guide était très attentionné envers lui notamment lorsque les chemin étaient escarpés ou en lui montrant pleins de choses amusantes lors du parcours, ce que nous avons particulièrement apprécié. Nous avons également pu réserver notre transport jusqu’à notre prochaine étape pour un prix très intéressant. En bref, rapport qualité prix imbattable !

De hoge beoordeling is deze accommodatie helemaal waard! Een prachtig schoon huisje, met een eigen patio waar je kan eten, maar je kan ook in het restaurantje eten. Het bed lag heerlijk en de airco werkte goed. Het eten was heerlijk, een selectie van Indonesische gerechten die vers worden klaargemaakt en je kan zelf bepalen hoe pittig je het eten wil. Bovenal het personeel wat goed met je meedenkt om het optimale uit je verblijf te halen en de omgeving te verkennen. Onze gids Andy heeft ons alles verteld over de rijstvelden, het maken van kokosnootolie en ons op een positieve manier uitgedaagd bij de waterval!

Sehr schön mitten in den Reisfeldern. Die Unterkunft ist eher Basic aber vollkommen ausreichend. Das Personal ist sehr nett.

Homestay was located in a calm area with full of nature and the staffs are amazing. Especially Andi#2, he took us to a the little tour around the rice field, the water fall, and to the little jungle to see the black monkey, I really had great time!

Que a las 4 y pico de la mañana sonaba para rezar, el primer dia nos impacto mucho

Sehr lieber Besitzer, gefühlt ist immer die ganze Familie da. Eigenes Restaurant mit sehr guten Preisen und tollem Essen. Unterkunft auch sauber und sehr malerisch gelegen. Ein Motorroller ist eigentlich Pflicht um die Gegend zu erkunden.

Dusche im Familienbungalow mit schwachem Druck. Eine Handbrause wäre super.

De service was erg goed. Mr Mu en zijn team zijn erg behulpzaam en kunnen supporten bij het organiseren van activiteiten. Ik werd tijdens ons verblijf niet lekker en er werd direct meegedacht over mogelijkheden om tours op andere manieren in te richten. De kamer was ook top!

Le rapport qualité prix est excellent. Le personnel est génial, très sympathique, les chambres sont propres et spacieuses. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux, et la nourriture très bonne. Mu nous a organisé une excursion personnalisée à prix raisonnable aux alentours de Tetebatu.

Rien. La seule chose que nous avons moins appréciée c'est que le "guide" que Mu nous a attribué pour l'excursion qu'il nous a organisé autour de Tetebatu parlait très mal anglais. La communication et le partage étaient donc difficiles...

De vriendelijkheid van de familie was snel te merken. Bij binnenkomt werden we vriendelijk ontvangen. De vriendelijkheid was niet overdreven maar gewoon oprecht. Onze kamer was erg netjes en als we iets nodig hadden konden we snel bij de familie aankloppen.

De locatie is wel wat afgelegen maar hier kies je voor tijdens dit verblijf! Uiteraard door het geloof op het eiland ben je gegarandeerd wakker elke ochtend rond 05:00 ;).

The Mu family is such a warming and nice people. They played the guitar with the guests. The location is amazing. You are in the middle of the ricefields. Great views.

To say something negative we could hear the pray from the Mosque at night and was a bit loud, but this is in Tetebatu in general the property was great.

Echt by far de leukste ervaring tijdens onze vakantie. Geweldige ontvangst, leuk mooi huisje. Mu en zijn team zijn uiterst vriendelijk. Heerlijk gegeten en in de avond werd er gezongen en gitaar gespeeld, wat een pracht ervaring. 1 iemand zong zelfs Nederlandse liedjes :) Je voelt je er gelijk welkom en "thuis". Dit is nou echt een plek waar we zeker terug willen komen.

Geen klein koelkastje maar dit komt nog. Inderdaad om 5 uur in de ochtend begint het geluid van de moskee en dat gaat lang door maar daar kan Mu niks aan doen. Het hoort er nu eenmaal bij ;)
