Reviewed Jul 10, 2026I had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. The owners were genuinely lovely, welcoming, and always happy to help, which made the experience feel especially personal. They were so lovely that they even lent us free bicycles to explore the seaside. The room was spotless and very well maintained, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. One detail that really stood out was the excellent shower pressure, which was much appreciated after a long day. Breakfast was also excellent. Everything was fresh, well-prepared, and clearly chosen with quality in mind.

Reviewed Jul 1, 2026宿泊した部屋は部屋はベットルームとは別にイスのある部屋がありゆったりとする事が出来た。コーヒーも飲むことが出来た。都合で遅めのチェックインとなったが次回はもっと早い時間に到着したい。
花蓮駅からは距離があるのでバス移動が必要です。冷蔵庫はありませんでした。

Reviewed May 26, 2026A central, quiet and cozy stay in Hualien. Run by a lovely couple. We had some language barriers, but a translator helped move those out of the way. The room was bigger than I expected, with one wall all windows (with sheer curtains for privacy and thick curtains to keep the light out. The AC was strong, yet quiet. Bed was huge and comfortable, though a bit soft for my taste. Pillows were firm and stackable for lounging purposes. The bathroom was also quite big, especially the shower was spacious with good pressure and always hot water. Both the room and the bathroom were very clean. There was bottled water in the room and a water fountain on the ground floor. There is no kettle in the room, but you can get warm and boiling water downstairs and sit in the breakfast area (comfy benches). Breakfast is a small menu and ordered in the evening. It was a good portion and filling, though I would have liked a sweet option, too. They helped me book a whale-watching tour and helped me organise taxis whenever I needed them.
Sadly it rained every day when I was in Hualien. BUT it turned into another bonus point for the property, since they had umbrellas I could borrow.

Reviewed Apr 10, 2026De eigenaren zijn zo aardig en heel behulpzaam ze helpen je met alles! Je kunt er ook een gratis fiets lenen dus dat is ideaal om de stad mee te verkennen. Kamers zijn lekker ruim en schoon!
Ontbijt was echt heerlijk maar je krijgt maar 1 broodje hierna loop ik altijd naar de 7-eleven omdat het echt niet veel is als ontbijt.

Reviewed Apr 6, 2026Wir hatten hier als Familie tolle 6 Nächte. Es war ein großes Zimmer mit zwei Doppelbetten und Spielecke inkl. vieler Spielsachen sowie Beamer. Toll für Regenwetter. Das Team war immer super freundlich und hilfsbereit bei allen Fragen. Die Verständigung auf Englisch oder mit Übersetzer-App hat auch ganz gut geklappt. Wäsche konnte man dort auch kostenlos waschen. Wirklich top!

Reviewed Apr 4, 2026The hotel room was absolutely perfect! I was travelling on my own with a small suitcase for 5 days. The room was big enough that I had plenty of space to spread my stuff out and feel settled. The bathroom is wonderful - perfect amount of space in the shower and on the counter top. Shower was perfectly heated and good pressure. The bed was cozy and the aircon worked very well. I didn't have a car so I walked or biked most places. The hotel offers a bike for you to borrow. In terms of walking I would say it's a good distance if you don't mind walking 25-30 mins to places. Otherwise, it's far for someone who doesn't have a car.
The breakfast surprised me. It is very traditionally taiwanese - mostly deep fried stuff or hamburgers. Also, the blinds let in a lot of light. It would have been nicer if they were black out blinds.

Reviewed Mar 15, 2026We had a quadruple room, and it was modern and comfortable. Everyone who was at reception was kind and helpful. They will happily lend you bicycles to explore the town. Cold and hot water dispenser in the lobby. 2.5 kilometres from the train station.
My only issue was the breakfast, which was included, and not good. Semi-warm toasted sandwiches that I do not consider a healthy choice (mayonnaise, cold cuts). No milk for coffee or tea. We ended up buying groceries (yogourt, milk, granola, fruit) to make our own breakfast. In all fairness, most people were happy to eat these sandwiches that were delivered from another place, maybe we are just picky. There were no vegetarian breakfast options on the menu they make you choose from, but perhaps if you ask, they will figure it out.

Reviewed Mar 6, 2026Great cosy small hotel, with very friendly owners who helped us organising with everything we needed. The rooms are modern and clean and shower is hot. We could take the bikes for free to cycle around. They also arranged a private driver for us (for a decent price) to go to Taroko national park. Great experience. There is free coffee and tea to take. And the breakfast is arranged whenever you want. Great and lovely experience. Definitely recommend!

Reviewed Jan 14, 2026Has the feel of a modern boutique hotel. Spacious, stylish comfortable room with excellent very modern bathroom. Good internet. Plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Easy access to washing machine and drying area, ice machine, coffee machine, fridge and freezer as well as boiling water. Some small traffic noise in the morning but nothing too intrusive. The downstairs eating area and garden area were delightful. Everywhere in the hotel was spotlessly clean. Good location especially as bikes are provided. Hualien is a very pleasant city. Wonderfully helpful and friendly owners who gave us good guidance on where to eat. Many thanks to Mr Woo who draws very good maps and Mrs Hong who made our stay memorable. A lot of thought has gone into making guests comfortable and welcome. Would like to return.
