Room didn't look like the photo. Bed was ok but not like in the picture. And there was no balcony as in the picture. Room size was good though and certainly did the job.

Reviewed Apr 28, 2026Wunderbare Aussicht aufs Meer, bequeme Betten und sauberes Zimmer. Die Mitarbeitenden waren sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und entgegenkommend. Von der Unterkunft aus ist ein Strand 5min fussläufig erreichbar, insgesamt aber ein Roller für die Insel zu empfehlen.

Beautiful, extremely clean and very comfortable rooms (best bed we had in 3 weeks in Taiwan 🙏🙏) with some of the best sunset views. All about this place allowed us to have an amazing time on Liuqiu!

Reviewed Dec 3, 2025⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 — Een Fantastisch Verblijf! We hebben een geweldige tijd gehad bij Percy en zijn vrouw op het eiland Liuqiu. Vanaf de eerste minuut voelden we ons welkom door hun behulpzaamheid en vriendelijkheid. Het voelde alsof alles met zorg en aandacht was geregeld. We vonden het ook ontzettend leuk dat we zijn prachtige zee-uitzicht eigenlijk per toeval ontdekten — wat een verrassing! Wakker worden met dat uitzicht was elke dag opnieuw genieten. De ochtenden met koffie samen waren heerlijk ontspannen en gaven ons echt het gevoel dat we even deel uitmaakten van hun thuis. Dankzij de uitgebreide restaurantlijst hebben we allerlei fijne lokale plekjes ontdekt. En zelfs de kleine dingen vielen op: de chille zeepjes in de kamer waren een superleuke, verzorgde bonus. Wat voor ons echt extra bijzonder was: Percy is net zo’n grote Star Wars-fan als wij! We hebben genoten van de leuke gesprekken hierover — en zijn Star Wars-T-shirts waren helemaal geweldig. Zo’n onverwachte klik maakt een verblijf alleen maar specialer. Daarnaast waarderen we enorm hoe digitaal vaardig ze zijn; via hun vertaal-app verliep de communicatie vlekkeloos. Kortom: een verblijf dat al onze verwachtingen overtrof. Percy en zijn vrouw zijn fantastische hosts en we bevelen hun plek met heel ons hart aan. We vertrokken met warme gevoelens én een grote glimlach.

Die Kopfkissen waren "furchtbar " Geschmackssache? Vielleicht, denke aber eher nicht Kein Duschvorhang, aber das ist ja relativ üblich

Reviewed Nov 5, 2025オーナーが親切。足の爪が剥がれてしまった時、丁寧に薬塗って絆創膏してくれた。海にも入れるようにと絆創膏テープで防水してくれた。おかげで楽しくシュノーケル🤿できた。リーズナブルで人気で美味しいレストランも教えてくれて美味しいもんたくさん食べて満足！繁華街から離れているのでゆっくりした感じ。近くにシュノーケルビーチがあっていい！

They also let us leave our luggage at the hotel after check-out and even brought it to us at the harbor before we left the island, very thoughtful service.

Reviewed Oct 26, 2024I had an amazing time at 白海民宿. The place is situated close by one of the beaches, and the room was spotless and well-equipped. The sea view from my room was even better than on the pictures. The owners were extremely hospitable with good English skills, and went out of their way to make sure that my stay was enjoyable. They even helped me rent a scooter to get around the island and recommended places to eat, it truly felt like a home away from home. Would definitely recommend, hope I can return one day!

Reviewed Jan 4, 2024This inn is so clean! I'm very picky and kind of OCD so it was really nice to have a really clean place. It is well kept, especially in a place that is so humid. The rooms are bright and roomy, comfortable and well decorated. We had 2 rooms at the top floor with balconies and could see the ocean. They are on the pricier side for Xiao Liu Qiu, but we booked pretty late. In the room, there are small sofas and tables where we could put our things and sit comfortably. It was really nice to eat breakfast out on the balcony. There is no wardrobe, but there is a spot for hangers. The bathrooms are really cute too. The owner and staff were so nice and friendly! I loved the cats too. Even though I am allergic to cats, my eyes never got itchy which means the place is really clean. There were má hūa snacks (local snacks) and tea/coffee too, plus a water dispenser. Overall we felt very welcome. Right outside the building is a table for sitting outside, as well as a little area for washing off sand, which we did use a few times! Note, this place is closer to the center of the island, so a scooter is needed (we scootered around the entire island anyway), though it only takes a few minutes to find it, and it only takes a few minutes to scooter around the entire island. We would totally stay here again!
The only thing I wasn't a fan of was having to use slippers that were provided. I understand that using their slippers helps keep the place clean though! Personally, I don't like shared footwear, so inside the room I used my own slippers that I had brought.
