The owners are great! Very lovely and helpful people. They can help You out with any issue related to your visit. Breakfast included. The facilities are clean, Big rooms, they provide everything what is requiered to have a great and rural Mekong experience. I rented a room with shared bathroom. Fan and mosquitoes net. They also help You to catch the bus for your next destination

Le stanze sono in realtà delle capanne da cui possono entrare insetti e animali. Nel nostro caso è entrato un topo. Purtoppo non è facile dormire, si sente qualsiasi cosa succeda fuori e dentro.

Nous avions réservé pour deux nuits et nous sommes finalement resté trois nuits. Un très beau lieu avec une chambre parfaite. Les hôtes étaient très gentils, disponibles pour nous aider et donner les informations. Ils nous ont emmenés jusqu’au bus pour notre départ.

La nuit peut être un peu bruyante avec le passage de bateau, mais c’est largement compensé par la serviabilité

Uns gefiel vor allem die ruhige Lage am Fluss. Es gab viele Möglichkeiten zum relaxen in der Hängematte. Uns wurde die Möglichkeit zum kochen gegeben und ansonsten hat die Gastgeberin leckeres, auf Nachfrage vegetarisch, Essen gekocht. Generell war die Familie sooo nett und hilfsbereit. Das war sehr außergewöhnlich. Wir konnten uns Roller und Fahrräder leihen. Sie hatten jede Menge Tipps für uns und konnte sehr gut englisch sprechen.

Excellent séjours ! Le personnel est adorable, l'endroit calme, vous avez la possibilité de manger sur place, organiser des excursions ou louer un scooter/vélo directement. J'y suis restée une journée de plus que prévu !

Le chant du coq le matin (ahah), nan c'était parfait !

Tout était parfait, la famille est adorable et toujours disponible pour nous donner les bonnes adresses pour visiter le coin. On a loué un scooter et suivi les recommandations, on a passés une super journée de découverte et de balade dans la ville et les endroits calmes en immersion de la vie locale. La nourriture y était bonne et copieuse. On a fait la sortie bateau de 3/4h et je recommande vraiment malgré le prix. On a appris énormément de choses, on a dégusté que des bonnes choses. Le guide était super et on a découvert des fruits et légumes et bien d’autres choses. La balade en bateau est très agréable. Et tout est très bien organisé on a quasiment croisé personne on était tout le temps seul a profiter des lieux (partez a 9h max je pense) On serait bien rentrés plus longtemps tellement on y était bien on recommande vraiment. La chambre était propre et le lit confortable, l'espace de vie extérieur agréable avec des hamacs, de l’eau a disposition. Salle de bain commune propre et de l’eau en fin de journée pas si froide. La periode de fin d’année a fait que la gérante etait un peu débordée mais a tout fait pour rester presente.

Lovely family running the place. The owner, who speaks great English, goes out of her way to make guests comfortable and optimize their stay. She recommended a beautiful bike ride through the coconut fields, hitting the town, and seeing the local Buddhist temple. She also coordinated my overnight bus to Dalat and drove me to the pick up station. The hostel is situated in a local neighborhood that makes you feel like you are part of Ben Tre. Very authentic and immersive experience, separated from civilization. Very clean accommodations, good food, and the hammocks are awesome.

The homestay is located in front of the river, which gives a wonderful view from the restaurant/hammock. Perfect for relaxation! The lady hosting is incredibly kind, friendly, helpful, and generous! The breakfast is substantially consistant (eggs with 2 breads and fruits) + tea /coffee. My room was very clean, spacious enough and the bed confortable. Bathroom areas were also correct given the context of the wind an nature around. It was possible to use freely a bike for one hour or 2. The lady host also arranged the bus ticket for me to go to the next destination and her husband drove me to the nearby bus station at 5 am as there were no grab from that area.

One small suggestion is that the husband could make a bit more efforts to be more smiling and friendly cuz I felt somehow uncomfortable around him. But it was not too bad and his wife's extreme good mood overshadows it :)

Great area. Lovely to swing in the hammock and watch the river. Good cycling and boat activities nearby.

This was truly the definition of paradise! The most relaxing location with beautiful views onto the Mekong river. The host family were so kind and helpful, providing brilliant recommendations, arranging motorbike rentals and a local tour along the river. Breakfast every morning was fab and the flexibility to eat anytime for lunch + dinner was a great plus. I will always remember my time here fondly.

Super, wenn man es ruhig und etwas abgelegen mag. Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer ist wie auf den Bildern, also sehr einfach gehalten. Das Frühstück war lecker. Direkt am Mekong :)

J'ai apprécié mon séjour dans ce homestay en matériaux naturels, face au fleuve et sur une route tranquille. La chambre est spacieuse avec moustiquaire et table bien pratique pour poser certaines affaires et le lit est vraiment très confortables, la douche et WC, proches à l'extérieur. Tout était propre et le linge sentait bon. Possibilité de manger et choix de sodas et bières. Possibilité d'emprunter des vélos et de donner ce que l'on veut pour cela. Duyen, l'hôte, parle bien anglais et fait tout pour bien informer. Elle m'a aidé à organiser la suite de mon voyage en me donnant le contact d'un hôtel à Tran De avant de prendre le bateau pour Con Dao, m'a réservé le bus pour y aller et son mari m'y a accompagné en scooter avec un café pour la route. Quelle gentillesse ! Merci pour cet accueil et de m'avoir permis de passer 3 jours calmes à la découverte de Ben Tre à vélo. J'ai adoré !

Il y avait des brûlis pendant mon séjour qui dégageaient une forte fumée acre mais ce n' est pas là faute du homestay et cela arrive certains jours dans cette région de cocotiers.

The owner was excellent, she is so kind and attentive. The location of Bentrestay is wonderful, next to a canal feeding into the Mekong. It’s a quiet and relaxing stay and a much more authentic area of Vietnam.

La disponibilité et la gentillesse de Phan, notre hôte. La facilité de programmation des activité : Phan propose la location de vélos et contacte les prestataires pour les tours de découverte en bateaux, scooter. Phan nous a aussi bien aidé quand nous n'arrivions pas à commander le taxi grab. Les repas étaient très bons, simples et authentiques.

Amazing scenery. I heard about this place on my travels, it truly is picturesque, it's peaceful, beautifully still and quiet - A slice of heaven. My mattress in my bungalow was comfortable, a fan in the room with good WiFi services, mosquito net provided. Host who speaks very good english was absolutely delightful, she could not do enough for me or the other guests. She made sure we were happy and comfortable every day and helped us with excursions and just general information. She knows this area very well, she grew up here. I wanted to stay longer, but time poor. Some of my best memories in Vietnam are here. Thank you for such a lovely time n taking good care of me and my injured knee.

Like any place on the Mekong River 🦟🦟🦟 make sure to bring mosquito spray.

This is an amazing place to stay!!! Very chill, clean, the owner maid my stay exceptionally confortable, food was good and very close to the village. Views are stunning and there is such a good atmosphere. I would highly recommend it for a chilling stop during your trips.

Such an amazing place to stayed in Ben Tre. The owner couple are exceptionally lovely. They couldn’t be more welcoming and helpful than they were. They will pick you up/drop you off at the bus location ; they help you for your future bus booking and also for activities all around. You’ll be allow to rent a bike with them and enjoy yourself biking around the beautiful countrysides. The hotel is quiet , good place to relax and rest, they do good and generous food ! Highly recommended !!!

Nice huts and inexpensive, quiet area with familiar atmosphere, there is a common area at the river, super helpful owner who helped us with the communication and booking of transport. I would recommend booking the boat tour with them, we were the only people on the boat and the only people at the attractions because the day tour tourists from ho chi minh arrive later. Afterwards the owner cooked a vietnamese lunch for us. The breakfast ist also delicious

The toilets could be cleaned more regularly but thats all

Our stay here was absolutely wonderful! The owner went above and beyond, arranging a free pickup from the bus and even helping us book our next ride. Everyone was incredibly kind and helpful. We rented a scooter, and the owner gave us fantastic tips on places to visit, making our trip even more special. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a warm, welcoming experience!

Great location on the river and cute "hut" style rooms. Great breakfast of omelette, fruit and tea. We enjoyed chilling in the hammocks looking out at the river whilst waiting for dinner.

We arrived and no-one was there so had to wait a little while but once arrived we were soon settled in and able to order food for the evening too. Water flow for shower at toilet block was very low.

We absolutely loved our stay here, the hospitality from Duyen and her lovely family was so kind. We stayed on New Year's Day, and came back from our walk to find that Duyen had prepared a celebratory lunch for all the guests staying. Sharing a meal with our hosts and other guests has been one of the highlights of our time in Vietnam. Duyen also arranged the bus to our next location and even took us to the bus stop at 5.30am. She made our travel around the Mekong delta very easy and stress-free, as the bus information can be hard for tourists to find. Thank you for everything!

I very much enjoyed the peace and quiet of the place. Stayed over 3 weeks! Location is great, right on the river. Relaxing, laid-back environment. You will get a very warm welcome here, with a lovely hostess who is helpful with everything. The food is very good, tasty and well-prepared. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful night. Their hospitality was amazing. Beautiful authentic location. Delicious breakfast. We got coconut chopsticks as a farewelll gift.

The family running this homestay is really, really nice. They helped us a lot with our logistics, transportation, activities nearby, good recommendations… We enjoyed a lot staying here: the views to the river are stunning, the food is super tasty (and they even let us cook with them one day) and the surroundings are quiet and wonderful, full of coconut trees, perfect to enjoy Mekong Delta. 200% recommended. And if you can stay minimum 2 nights. You won’t regret :)

Duyen is the best host I’ve had in Vietnam, she was so kind and lovely! She was my guide for the whole time and she took me to all the nicest and most beautiful places around Bến Tre told me about the culture ans how local people live. I had the best experience in Vietnam and I wish I stayed longer! My room was just in front of the river, the whole place is perfect to chill out, there’s a few hammocks and it’s pretty quiet. Duyen can lend you a bike or scooter to get around and I really recommend doing it as well as one of the tours that she run. It was the most relaxing experience I’ve had here, so nice!

This place is awesome ! the family that owns this homestay is lovely and super helpful, they told us a lot about Ben Tre, gave us some tips for restaurants and things to do around the area. We also had dinner there, the food was delicious and we had enough to eat to sleep with a very full and happy stomac. I highly recommend staying there, it's bordering the river. + they have an awesome dog ! very good quality/price ratio. Also, we had a friend with a visa issue and she helped us calling offices to find a solution.

One thing that stands out is the kindness and hospitality of the hosts: they are very welcoming and accommodating and really make you feel at home there.

The mother was very welcoming, she helped me out and went above and beyond to booking a bus to châu đốc for me and even waited for the bus with me at 5:30am. She is unbelievably kind and helpful.

The host went the extra mile to keep me company. The tour she offered was top-notch and well-organized. If you want an authentic Vietnam experience, this should be one of your stops. There are dinner options available, too which was helpful considering I didn't have a motorbike. The food was delicious.

unfortunately the room was very very simple and not comfortable. The mattresses are soo thin that you cannot sleep very well (depends of everyone). The bathroom doesn’t have hot water and no toilet paper 🧻. It was very basic as I said earlier. we also gave them clothes and tell them to not use the dryer.. they said yes but they definitely used it because our clothes were super hot when we got them back.. and now they don’t fit us anymore.

Nice, quiet place, the staff have gone above & beyond to recommend activities, helped me with maps to the island & organised a delta boat ride, any questions or enquires I’ve had - the daughter has been happy to help answer aswell as sending links for maps on WhatsApp which has made everything so much easier than if I was to figure it out on my own! Makes it a lot easier of a place if you’ve got a scooter or motorbike! Great breakfast! egg roll, free water & there’s a fridge for anything. You can buy soft drinks (pepsi or something too ) Nice big bed too 🤙🏼👍🏼 I’m leaving early so the girl has even made me a little breakfast to go package for the morning. No complaints!!

the family were so helpful with advice on travel, where to run and cycle, and everything I needed to be able to work during my stay. lovely veggie dinner cooked each night and decent breakfast included. they really went the extra mile.

it was only tricky at the start because my key didn’t work and the grandma didn’t speak any English. also my rooms are not so private because the curtain blows open with the fan and next door you can hear everything. but for the price I can’t complain.

The owners were really great : they showed us on a map where the main attractions were (paper rice facility, inside someone's house, so can't be found without help for example). They made arrangement with our bus driver so that we would be dropped off very close to their house. The food was delicious :)

All!!! The family Is fantastic!

Everything here was great! The host (Duyen) and her family were all very friendly. It is a little out of town, but honestly that was a positive for us as it was very peaceful. We stayed 3 nights to take a leisurely pace to explore the delta. We had dinner cooked for us twice and lunch once by Duyen’s mother, and everything was marvelous, including the complimentary breakfast! We rented bikes for a day (50,000 dong each) and took a 3-4 hour boat tour which was guided by Duyen (550,000 dong each) and I highly recommend both of these activities. The bed and facilities were simple, but very comfortable. We stayed in a room with a fan, and were nervous that it would be too hot, but the fan and the air flow in the room was plenty to keep it cool. There was also a nice garden and kitchen area to relax and chat with other guests. Overall, we would highly recommend this homestay, if for nothing else than the exceptionally friendly and helpful family that runs it.

In general, there is a bit of clutter around, for example in the garden where they were doing some renovations, and a bit in the bathrooms, but nothing to cause any issues.

They's speak really well English, can have food there. And must of all, they great propose tour around Ben Tre, you can also rent bike or motorbike.

BenTrestay was a lovely place to stay in Ben Tre. Duyên and her family were very kind. The river tour with Duyên was really interesting and off the beaten path. It was a wonderful experience! The breakfast was also really good, Banh Mi, fruits and tea, so everything you need. Duyên also helped us to organise our next trip to Ha Tien, she is so helpful and everything went well! We could rent two bikes for two days to drive around in Ben Tre and the island. The bikes were in a good condition, and also big enough for tall people.

We booked the room, a tour and rented bicycles, they gave us the prices and told us we can pay after. At the time of leaving they had increased the prices of everything on the bill! Be careful. It leaves me a bitter taste, it's a shame.

Quiet spot near town centre and canals Duyen and her sister are amazing hosts, they went above and beyond with food, bus bookings, and even a personal tour of the canals. Great food on offer at the guesthouse. Could communicate perfectly in English. Great value for money!
