Tout... La gentillesse de Sheran et ses parents, un accueil avec une grande simplicité et beaucoup de douceur. Les repas, préparés par la maman de Sheran sont merveilleux, le meilleur rice and curry que nous ayons goûté, avec des propositions sans épices pour le palais de notre cadette. La chambre est bien équipée, les espaces extérieurs sont grands et très agréables pour se reposer en attendant de partir en safari avec Sheran. Celui-ci connaît bien le parc et sa faune, très calme et attentif tant à nous montrer des animaux qu'à les préserver de notre présence.. il avait également prévu un petit ravitaillement pour toute la famille, un merveilleux moment... Très disponible, il arrangé au besoin des transferts, tuk tuk et autres.. Nous aurions pu passer une semaine complète avec eux :) merci !

Séjour trop court !

in one room the quality of the bathroom was poor. There was no place to hang the clothes . Room was full of ants and the space between the bathroom door and wall allowed mosquitoes to come in. The drain was chocked . The mosquito net was stinking and so was the bed linen. When we informed the owner, he had the audacit;y; to say that no one complained about it . The latches on th;e main door and toilet did not work. He promised to get mosquito repellent , but did not turn up. There is no board to identify the property and he mostly he does not respond to calls.

Hébergement à proximité du parc et Sheran organise des safaris à un tarif très convenable. Grand logement avec 2 chambres. Possibilité de prendre le repas du soir : le repas était très bien.

Les draps et taies d'oreillers n'étaient pas très propres Douche un peu vieillotte et sol très glissant ( il faudrait une raclette pour enlever l'eau) La tonnelle couvre toute la cour, on se sent enfermé.

Family is super nice and the food is amazing. We felt very welcome. You have a option to do safari right at this place with amazing guide Sheran.

This is a really lovely home stay with a lot of privacy and the perks of home cooked meal, some of the best food we had in Sri Lanka We really enjoyed the safari with Sherman and were taken care of very well of. The room was spacious, clean and quiet with ac and a fan and our own terrace

C'est l'endroit idéal où séjourner si vous cherchez un endroit pour faire un safari, Sheran connaît le parc comme sa poche, et vous prête des binoculaires pour ce safari. La chambre est basique , mais propre et correcte (heureusement climatisée, c'est une fournaise), et la mère de Sheran est une très bonne cuisinière.

La salle de bains mériterait une rénovation, mais cela reste tout à fait convenable.

We had a wonderful time with sheran! The rooms were super clean and his mom is an excellent cook. The safari he organises was also a 10/10!

Très bon séjour. Le dîner était vraiment très très bon - sans aucun doute un des meilleurs rice & curry de notre séjour au Sri Lanka. Nous sommes très satisfaits du safari organisé par le fils de la gérante. Nous avons eu une super expérience, loin des autres groupes et nous avons pris le temps d’observer énormément d’animaux différents. Le petit déjeuner au bord du lac était vraiment super.

Repas assez cher par rapport à ce que nous avions payé dans les autres homestays jusqu’ici, mais la qualité est au rendez-vous

Le hôte Sheran était incroyablement gentil et compétent, la maison est formidable et le Safari au top. Il fait même Taxi privé, enfin tout parfait

Ein ganz großzügiger Wohnraum wurde uns zur Verfügung gestellt ohne Aufpreis. Alle Fragen wurden ausführlich beantwortet und uns gezeigt. Ein überaus reichhaltiges wohlschmeckendes leckeres Frühstück wurde uns zu diesem günstigen preiswerten Wohnangebot jeden Tag serviert. Der Sohn des Hauses bot uns eine vierstündige Abendsafari mit dem Haus eigenen Jeep und mit direkten Erklärungen zu der Tierwelt. Eine sehr angenehme Wohnerfahrun, sowie eine beeindruckende Safari-Tour. Dies kann ich jedem der im Nationalpark die Tiere sehen will empfehlen. Zum krönenden Abschluss fuhr uns der Sohn des Hauses persönlich mit unseren Rucksäcken kostenfrei an die Bushaltestelle. Meine Enkelin und ich sind sehr beeindruckt und können dies Angebot sehr, sehr empfehlen. Margret und Luana

We stayed only one night in this cosy place but we’ve been treated like kings! Foods are amazing so yummy, We recommend sheran as safari guide. He knows how to find different animals in the bush and he is doing his best to show you many species. He was also respectful towards them and we really enjoyed the tour.

Host was amazing! Very flexible with the Safari timing and was super helpful with advice on how to get to the next destination. He also drove us to the dinner place which was very kind. Breakfast was excellent.

Sheran , his mother and Father are very Nice , thé place is very good , the dishes was very very Nice . On top of that Sheran in the middle of the night brought my babygirl to the hospital and this shows How good person he is. The safari was perfect as well, we saw lot of éléphants , birds and crocodiles !!

Very nice guest house. Nice evening meal. We arranged safari with owner in advance. He has own vehicle and was our guide.

Sheran’s place is a little oasis of comfort. We came in 2019, and returned again this year and had a lovely stay. The authentic home cooked food by his wonderful mother is a delight, and Sheeran is a very knowledgeable safari guide.

Beautiful location, with green patio and great value for money. Fresh mango juice as a welcome drink and friendly hosts. We asked for vegetarian dinner and it was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!

Not so close of anything, no way to eat something while walking from the house.

Fun safari with Sheran. He's great in animal spotting and very knowleadgable about the animals. Really appreciate that he was willing to accomodate safari for me as solo traveller for reasonable price. Homestay facilities are perfectly fine, especially for the price; great breakfast too.

As with all accomodation in Uda: quite far from the (little) main street, so you probably need to have dinner/breakfast at the homestay. No problems on my side with that.

We loved our stay in udawalawe and it was thanks to Sheran and his family who took care of us.The mom cooked us an absolutely Excellent meal and I would say the best in Sri Lanaka.Sheran is very friendly and a great guide.He does everything to show us as many animals as possible!He also arranged everything for our taxi rides to come from ella and then go galle.The Rooms are clean,spacious,clean bathroom with hot water.Great experience!!!

Sheran and his family were incredibly kind during our stay.They helped us with all our needs and even more.The meals were fantastic.one of the best Rice & Curry in Srilanka.The safari with Sheran was great,gave us time to watch the animals well and explained interesting things about wildlife.He is passionate!He has eagle eye.Highly recommended for safari lovers.

The place is really cute, the owners are really nice

Sheran was an amazing host, tour guide and all around great person. This is my second time coming, having been 7 years ago. Was brilliant to come back. Sheran offers the best safari in Sri Lanka and showed us lots of great local food spots. The house itself was so clean - Sheran and his family were so welcoming. We slept very well.

Sheeran and his family are very friendly. The food was really good. The safari was very nice, sheeran has a very good knowledge of the wild life. He will help you to spot many animals. He imitates peacock like no one else.🤣. I recommand.

Sheran provided exceptional hospitality despite this last-minute booking (literally 10 minutes before my arrival)! He was attentive and present, and having him as a guide for my morning safari in the park was wonderful! The room was very spacious, perfect for a family, and the breakfast prepared by his mother was delicious. I highly recommend and will gladly return for another stay!

Sheran and his family are really kind and welcoming and I had a lovely time here! It's really comfortable and I even had tea making facilities in my room which was the first time in Sri Lanka and was a really nice touch. The room was lovely. The safari was wonderful and I also walked to the elephant transit centre for baby elephant feeding time. Very close to the guesthouse. A lovely start with delicious food too!

Not too far nor too close to the natural park main entrance. Sheran and his family provided us a warm welcoming to his family house. They also prepared drinks.and diner early so we can get ready to sleep quickly for the tomorrow safari. The rooms were good with all the facilities (shelves, power adaptors,...). Almost no noise by night pure silence !!! Dinner prepared by his mother was delicious they even provided some beers

The bathroom system is quite old fashion. There are mosquitoes so beware.

Sheran is incredible. He is nice and tells a lot of funny stories. We payed 55€ for the safari with him.

The place is very clean, rooms are nice. Furthermore there is a nice garden where you can chill out. Owner is very friendly and speaks English very well, thus, I recommend going on safari with him 🐘🦚🦅 The WiFi was great what is rare in Sri Lanka 😀 Breakfast was also tasty too.

I stayed here for 2 nights and it’s a nice homestay! Sheran, the host, also organises the safari, which makes it very easy to discover udawalawe. He knows a lot about the surrounding and the animals. I went on a half day safari and after that he brought me to the orphanage for baby elephants. I also eat one night at the homestay and the mother of sheran cooked an amazing dinner. I had a great time here!

Fantastic home made dinner

The owners are very kind and try their best to make your stay as pleasant as possible (the son drove us to the restaurant for dinner and back for free). Sheran (the son) himself organizes safari tours (he drives and guides) - we would definitely recommend using his services (we had a safari organized by another person, but otherwise we would definitely like to go on a safari with him). Good Sri Lankan breakfast.

Despite the kindness and hospitality of the owners, I must say that you can probably get nicer accommodation in the area for less money.

Moooom! 🙂 I'll start with her, because her cooking is so delicious that I must admit that after 3 weeks in Sri Lanka, I have never eaten such good food anywhere else as here! 👍 Really 🙂 Large portions and there's even beer available, and it's all at a reasonable price, so there's absolutely no point in looking for food in the area. The owner Sheran has his own off-road vehicle and arranges everything for Safari. He speaks English very well, which is useful when we meet some animals, because he talks beautifully about them, and not all of these drivers do that! Nice room with a clean bathroom with hot water, air conditioning and everything you need. I highly recommend it! 👍

It was a great homestay in udawalawe. We got there without anything organised for the next day and he took us on a safari with his jeep. He's very knowledgeable and was able to spot all possible animals from such far distance! The rooms are simple and clean, dinner and breakfast were absolutely fantastic there. We had wonderful welcome by Sheran and his family!The dinner & breakfast was excellent cooked by sheran’s mom.The safari tour was really Top, The room is big enough and has air conditioning and mosquito net.I advise you to book with the accommodation you will not regret!

They have very attentive staff. They tended to find solutions to every problem. Their treats and breakfast were also very delicious. They want to create the most enjoyable moments for you. We also received safari service from here and we were very pleased again.

Great experience at Pearl White House. Very close to the Uda Walawe National Park. Sheran wasnt there but his parents took very good care of us and his friend for the safari. The breakfast was good. Amazing value for money.

The mother excels in cooking and welling wants learn new ways in cooking as well .
