The location of the hotel. The hotel is near the quayside, a short walking distance to the pier where tourists board the boat for going out to see Leshan Giant Buddha. The hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating. Value for money too. Room is clean and bed comfortable. The TV got excellent Chinese movies. Night time a good stroll on the pier with beautiful lights and fountain displays.

Location was fantastic for the Leshan Buddha - you literally just cross the road and you are at the ticket centre. The owner was very kind and really happy to help at any point.

The place is looking a little tired compared to the photos, but it was still comfortable and clean and the owner was great.

Мне понравилось местоположение хостела: очень удобно утром пешком дойти до парка, а вечером прогуляться по ту сторону реки через красивый мост, расположенный здесь же. Хостел расположен в тихом районе, и это его плюс. Рядом пожилая пара продавали спелые, сладкие, сочные и вкусные-не такие, как в остальном Китае, персики - по хорошей цене. Эти персики будто выросли в собственном саду. Кафе рядом тоже имеются. В номере чисто. Это то место, в котором не могут сделать дорогой ремонт, но где вам отдадут все внимание и заботу, которая есть: по приезду нам дали двухкомнатный номер, хотя мы бронировали однокомнатный, хозяин рассказал, где и что посмотреть, выдал спираль от комаров. Когда мы уезжали, хозяин лично довёл нас до остановки и посадил на нужный автобус. Спасибо вам за душевное тепло. В такие места хочется возвращаться, здесь чувствуешь себя, как дома❤️ .

Немного темно в фойе, а также несколько пыльно украшение из корня на стойке регистрации, но это мелочи. Рекомендую хостел56ре5

Great location very close to entrance for giant buddha. Owners live on the property and are very friendly. No English spoken but we used a translate app to communicate and had no issues. Decor is a little hit-and-miss but property is clean and tidy. Overall, a pleasant stay.

The bins were collected at 6am from outside our room one morning - very noisy! Bed is also a little hard.

The location was fantastic, right next to the entrance of the leshan budda. The room was clean and spacious with a large en suite and a balcony. Staff were helpful.

The bed was a bit lumpy.

Esternamente il palazzo sembra un pò fatiscente, mentre la hall dell'hotel è carina e casalinga (quando siamo arrivati la madre del proprietario stava guardando la tv, ci è sembrata una tipica scena casalinga :)). Purtroppo non siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti della pulizia della camera, soprattutto delle lenzuola e delle coperte. La struttura in generale trasmette poco senso di pulizia.

Posizione perfetta davanti all’entrata del sito storico del Budda di Leshan. B&B datato, avrebbe bisogno di un po’ di ristrutturazione, camere essenziali ma pulite. Per una notte consigliato proprio per la vicinanza al parco. Non c’è possibilità di fare colazione . Il gestore e’ gentilissimo ci ha spiegato bene come organizzare la visita e ci ha indicato un ottimo ristorante in città.

The position is perfect, near the entrance of the giant buddha. They cannot speak English however give us tips for the visit. The visit required more than 3h and we start at 7:30am.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, and there was even a cute cat around the property, which gave the place a homely feel. The location was excellent—very close to the main tourist spot of Emeishan, which made visiting the mountain very convenient.

There were no basic amenities in the room, such as a kettle, and no laundry service available. Breakfast was offered only at a supplement and came in the form of sandwiches, which was disappointing.

Der Besitzer war sehr geduldig, ruhig und ausgezeichnet vorbereitet auf die Kommunikation mit Ausländern ohne jegliche Sprachkenntnisse. Mit einer handgenähten Stadtkarte erklärte er uns jeden Weg. Ein toller Typ! Er gab uns auch Tipps für gute Verbindungen, um von einem Ort zum anderen zu kommen. Das Zimmer war sehr gut ausgestattet und hatte eine für chinesische Verhältnisse sehr luxuriöse Dusche.auch toll ist die Nähe zur großen Attraktion: dem Buddha!

Das einzige Problem war das Auffinden. Wir haben ein Taxi genommen und selbst der Taxifahrer war verwirrt. Man muss in eine kleine Seitenstraße einbiegen wo ein paar verfallene Häuser sind.

It's a lovely homestay, not far from the entrance to the Great Buddha, so you can easily walk around and even reach the entrance to the Great Buddha on foot. There's also a river nearby, and you can take a walk into town, which I did and really enjoyed. The owner of the homestay is very polite and friendly. He helped me as much as he could with Google Translate and even personally took me to the bus stop near his house so I could go to Mount Emei, which was really nice and friendly. A simple but good homestay, and well located for seeing the Giant Buddha, etc.

The location of the hotel is very convenient as it is just across the road from the Leshan Giant Buddha area's main entrance (free shuttle buses go from there to the actual site). You can get to the hotel by bus #3 (and other buses) from the main station. The room was spacious, simple but clean and comfortable with a touch of design. The old man at the reception was very helpful, through a translator app he explained a lot of useful things. (Like how to visit Emeishan.) Great place, I liked it much!

VERY cold during our December visit. Badly isolated. Old building. Cold from outside coming in. We slept with clothes on. Could not sleep well.

I had such a wonderful stay as the hosts went beyond my expectations and really made sure I was comfortable. I do speak Chinese so language wasn’t a barrier, but I’m sure they would take care of anyone in the same way. We spent quite some time talking about life, they were also very helpful and suggested many good spots to visit around🙏☀️If you’re interested in and appreciate woodcraft you’ll love this place even more 🥰

Place is a bit outdated and beside a main road so quite noisy. Not as shown in the pictures.

I recently spent three nights at the Peace Inn The Leshan Giant Buddha Branch, and it was simply not enough. This quaint hotel boasts a fantastic location, just a short walk from the Giant Buddha entrance and conveniently near the bus stop for trips to Mount Emei. Despite the language barrier, my hosts were incredibly welcoming, with Mr. Liu Baoliang going above and beyond to help me plan my activities. Nearby, I discovered a lovely garden along the river and a bridge leading into the city, making exploration easy. Transportation by bus was straightforward and efficient. I wholeheartedly recommend this charming inn for anyone visiting the area.

Good hotel, perfect location to visit the Leshan Buddha (it's a 25 minute walk to the gates). Kind staff. Clean and comfortable room. There are a few small restaurants close to the hotel, and with a 30 min walk across the bridge you get to a bigger commercial street with lots of restaurants and shops.

I loved the location.You cannot get any closer to the ticket office and free electric bus stop. It's 3-minute walk away from the inn. The owner goes out of his way to help you even though he does not speak English (he has a good translator). The breakfast sandwich is worth the extra cost.

The taxi driver had no idea how to find the hotel. DiDi map does not have it. We managed to locate the place on the driver's phone map after he saw the photo with the Chinese sign (one of the photos on booking.com).This is by no means the inn's fault as their description is very accurate on the photo.

The location of the hotel is just a short walk from the Leshan giant Buddha and the value for money is fantastic. But what really stands out is how great the hotel boss is. I went here with a friend and originally we would only stay for 2 nights. However after the first night we went to the city center of Leshan and I became sick from something I ate. When we got back to the hotel my friend told the boss I was not feeling well. He drove her to a pharmacy on the back of his scooter to buy medication. After the second night I felt a lot worse. The boss arranged a taxi to take us to the hospital. (I asked to go to the hospital myself) In the hospital they gave me an IV with medication and I started feeling better. The hotel boss even came to visit me in the hospital to see how I was doing which was super sweet! In the evening we went back to the hotel. The boss made rice porridge for me which I was able to eat without problem. (At this point I hadn’t eaten in 24 hours because I kept vomiting) An extra night in the hotel was arranged without issue and the boss also arranged a taxi to take us to Chengdu airport the next morning. Because of my sickness our stay in Leshan was unpleasant but without the constant help from the hotel boss it would have been so much worse! Thank you so much! P.S. the hospital in Leshan is very cheap and the staff seem to know what they’re doing despite their limited English. Definitely don’t be scared to go if you are feeling ill.

Staff is so nice and location wowww when you want to visit the Giant Busddha

The owner was super nice, telling us how to maximise our stay to see the most things. The property is just a few steps away from the entrance to the Gian Buddha area. We visited during the low season and were given a triple bedroom instead of a normal double.

The owners live in the reception area and smoke at all times, with the smoke travelling into the rooms.

Location is really fantastic, k1 busstop and 601 in front. Smal restaurants on the corner, if you walk over the bridge you are closer to even more restaurants. Small walk to leshan buddha Park. Owner was so warm and friendly. Room is clean, bed is a bit hard but still comfortable. Very good value for money.

The location of the place was very near the Leshan Giant Buddha which was very conductive for us. The room was relatively clean, however the place need to be revamped for guest stay. The room require airing to dispel the moddy smell.

This hotel is right next to the park entrance, one of the best locations. The owner has a self-made embroided map of the surroundings and will give you great tips about how to travel around Leshan and visit the Buddha. You can park your car in their garden and walk from there.

Very spacious room, super nice hosts, good location in walking distance to Giant Buddha and with a small market and local restaurants close by.

The couple that owns the place and manages it is absolutely adorable. They do not speak English, just a few basic words, but will go miles to try and answer any question you have. They also have some handmade maps they use to explain to travellers how to reach the main points of interest (Leshan is really small so it really is easy to understand). Breakfast is not included but you can ask for it and the lady will make it for 20 yuan. Good price as you get fruit, peanuts (common Sichuan breakfast food apparently) one fried egg and then noodles (with tomatoes and eggs but I think that changes depending on what they have at hand). The room was much bigger and nicer than I was expecting, as well as the bathroom which was almost as big as the room. Not all rooms are the same though, both in size and bathroom. The Inn is super super close to the giant Buddha site, you literally just walk along the river and you are there. The ticket office is right across the street from the Inn. The city "centre" is also very close to the Inn, you just need to cross the bridge and walk for around 10-15 minutes, which is a nice walk along the riverbank where you can see people dance, fish and sell fruit. The Inn is in the back of a small alley, a bit dark at night but don't worry as it is still very safe since they are all little shops and restaurants (they all know the owners) and also very quite both at night and during the day. I think the place is worth it, do not get discouraged by the lobby as it is a bit more messy and cluttered than the pictures shown on Booking.

The place is super close to the Buddha and fairly close to the city centre which means it is a bit far from the train station. I don't personally think it is a problem but if you plan to go to Emeishan from here keep it in mind (the station is very small so you do not need to get there much earlier anyway). The pictures of the lobby are outdated and it is now more messy and cluttered but do not be fooled! The rooms are very nice. The same goes for the alley where it is located. It is very narrow so have the taxi leave you at the entrance or they will get stuck. The facility per se was nice.

Bedroom (under the bed), bathroom (top of shelves, bathroom closet) and the corner area to the left of the bedroom door on the landing hadn’t been swept or dusted for a long time. Dead bugs, grime and dust under the bed too. Marks and stains on the wall in the bedroom around the window; it needs a fresh coat of paint. Room needs updating . Clothes rack is bent, only one clothes hanger. Although the location is near the Giant Buddha park, the street area around the guest house is dirty. There’s a garbage recycling directly across from the entrance. If the gate could be kept shut, one wouldn’t see it. I was kept awake the second night by people playing a board game downstairs. It lasted until midnight. The main road can be noisy too, but luckily the ac drowned out this noise. Food choices are very limited in this area. A guy was taking a leak right next to the rubbish bins opposite the garden gate in broad daylight. Not the owner’s fault, but it says something about the area. I should have stayed in a hotel in the city instead.
