The location is perfect, beautiful place with views over the bay and mountains. Close by in the area are great hiking trails. Recommend to all!

Hermod was a fantastic host! (Heloise was out of town). He greeted me at the door upon my arrival and gave me a thorough rundown of the nearby trails. After a spontaneous extension of my stay in the home, Hermod kindly allowed me to stay in the same room. Kitchen has everything you would need and the location is fantastic! Only minutes from the Ryten/Kvalvika beach trailhead and only seconds from the beach!

This is a wonderful downstairs area in a family home. There is a small kitchen well equipped to cook a meal, a large shared bathroom and 3 bedrooms. The bedrooms are very small so there is no room to have your luggage open. Beds were comfortable and the block out blind was good to get the sleeping space dark. Pillows were good. Plenty of hot water in the shower. There is also a small sitting room if you wish to read or relax out of the confines of the bedroom. The host is on hand to welcome you and is a fount of local knowledge. It is only 900 metres from the start of the Ryten Hike. Parking was also available.

You are in a private home and you feel that way! A homely, cozy stay with a great shower and a fully equipped kitchen. We loved it and it was a great start to go up the Ryten and to Kvalkika beach, where we camped the following night.

Los dueños de la casa eran encantadores y muy cercanos. La casa se encuentra en plena naturaleza, al lado de la playa. Las vistas son espectaculares. Desde la casa hay varias rutas preciosas que se pueden hacer (el dueño te lo explica todo). Habitación cómoda. Zonas comunes limpias.

El precio nos ha parecido caro comparandolo con otros alojamientos similares en Lofoten. Este ha sido el más caro donde hemos estado y es similar a otros en los que hemos estado más baratos.

La casa era su una spiaggia con una splendida vista

Il proprietario di casa è stato molto premuroso. Ci ha consigliato delle attività da fare con il brutto tempo. La posizione della casa è strategica. Molto bella la vista sulla spiaggia!

Il rapporto qualità prezzo non è molto adeguato. È stata la struttura più costosa di quelle in cui ho soggiornato e facendo un paragone con le altre tre, è costata di più e presentava dei servizi in meno. Per esempio, una delle difficoltà maggiori è stata un bagno per tre stanze doppie. Gli altri bnb erano anche dotati di shampoo, balsamo e bagno schiuma. Inoltre, la stanza era un po’ piccolina per due, avendo due trolley e una valigia grande.

Very near by the beach and Kvalvika beach route. It was very easy to start the trekking. Kitchen , room and bathroom very clean. The owner is very helpful, i would like to stay again.

Camera un po’ piccola

Pomocni i bardzo uprzejmi gospodarze. Piekny widok z okna. Czysta posciel. Dostepna wspolna kuchnia i wspolna lazienka mialy wszystko co potrzebne na pobyt.

Amazing accommodation where we truly felt at home throughout our stay. Heloise and Hermod are wonderful hosts, always kind, welcoming, and ready to help with anything you might need. The shared areas were always spotless, and there was a great sense of respect between guests. We never had to wait to use the facilities. The surroundings are absolutely stunning and without a doubt one of the most beautiful places in the Lofoten Islands. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would happily come back!

Ubicación de ensueño en Fredvang. Cerca de Reines y de playas preciosas. Es una casita tipica de Lofoten con 3 habitaciones dobles y un cuarto de baño y cocina compartidos. El propietario vive en el piso de arriba. Un señor encantador que nada más llegar te explica la historia del Bacalao en Lofoten. El baño era amplio y la cocina tenia lo basico. En el rellano debes dejar tus zapatos. La habitacion es pequeña pero comoda. Puedes dejar el coche aparcado fuera sin problema. Lo mejor son las vistas que tiene la casa a la bahia.

Como sugerencia al dueño: La limpieza de la cocina habría que echar un vistazo de que todo esté en orden (que no se acabe el jabón, que el lavavajillas se saque, etc) pero fue algo puntual.

Great location, very welcoming and accomodating hosts! Had everything we needed for a week long stay, perfect spot for a lot of the walks if you don’t mind a little driving. Grocery store about 5-10 minutes away. Amazing view from the bedroom. Kitchen was so good to have, bathroom was always clean. Would strongly recommend.

De locatie was fantastisch. Het uitzicht vanuit de accommodatie was adembenemend.

Tiny room for 2 people, but good for 1 night

Accueil très chaleureux de la part d'Heloise et de Patryk. Emplacement paisible, à 2 pas de chemins de randonnée. Chambre et communs très propres et bien équipés. 1 sdb avec WC pour 3 chambres double un peu juste néanmoins quand tout est loué mais hébergement chaudement recommandé !

Sehr netter Gastgeber, er hat uns viele Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben. Auch gute Lage, direkt am Strand und nah am Wanderweg zum Ryten und Kvalvika Beach (spart man sich dort schonmal den Parkschein). Die Gemeinschaftsküche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, sogar mit Spülmaschine. Das Bad war immer sehr sauber.

Es gibt drei Doppelzimmer (also insg. sechs Personen) für ein Badezimmer/ WC. Wenn man also ganz dringend muss und gerade jemand duscht, ist das sehr blöd. Morgens und abends kam es schon mal zu Wartezeiten. Außerdem hatten wir "nur" das Economy Zimmer, das sehr kleine Fenster nach hinten raus hat und insgesamt auch sehr klein ist. Wenn wir nochmal kommen würden, würden wir eins der besseren Zimmer mit Meerblick und normalen Fenstern nehmen.

Lovely host, good kitchen and shower and clean accommodation.

Meidät siirrettiin varaamastamme double- huoneesta (parisänky) twin-huoneeseen (kaksi erillistä sänkyä, joita ei saanut työnnettyä yhteen kiinteän pöydän vuoksi) ja meille ilmoitettiin asiasta tylysti viestillä pari tuntis varauksen jälkeen. Viestissä kerrottiin, että toinen varaaja oli mennyt edellemme, mutta jos hyväksymme pienemmän huoneen, hinta on sama. Emme voineet muuta kuin hyväksyä, koska muuten meillä ei olisi ollut majoitusta ja olisimme menettäneet jo maksamamme hinnan huoneesta. Muut majoituksen varanneet saapuivat vasta klo 23.30 vaikka check in olisi ollut klo 23 saakka. Olimme todella väsyneitä koko päivän ajamisesta ja olisimme halunneet nukkua, mutta host- pariskunta esitteli heille paikkoja ja vieraat metelöivät klo 0.30 saakka ilman, että heitä olisi pyydetty olemaan hiljaa. Mielestäni se ei ollut meidän tehtävä. Majapaikassa oli todella paljon lappuja seinillä, joissa kerrottiin sääntöjä, mutta näitä eivät toiset noudattaneet. Meille jäi siivottavaksi heidänkin sotkut ja muut, että ei olisi näyttänyt siltä, että me olemme sotkeneet. Olemme meidän honeymoon matkalla mutta meidät siirrettiin tylysti ”kaveri” huoneeseen. Sateenkaarimatto ovensuussa ei tässä kohteessa tarkoita yhtään mitään! Lakanoita (aluslakana) sängyssä ei oltu vaihdettu, niissä oli mm. edellisen nukkujan karvoja! Haimme omat makuupussit autosta ja nukuimme niissä. Yök 🤢

Excellent host. Mr Hemrod is very helpful with all the hiking and sightseeing info. Very interesting person to talk to. Beautiful view from the beach facing rooms. Very dark blinds block the light very well.

The rooms have two beds and because of that there is barely a space for luggage in the rooms.

The location which is exceptional and the delightful host, Hermod, who shared so much interesting information about the area.

There were only 4 chairs at the kitchen table and as there were 5 people staying when we were there, it was a little awkward at breakfast.

Very close to starting point to Kvalvika and Ryten hike. You can walk there from house. Very beautiful and quiet area.

Un peu cher : c'était notre nuit la plus chère de notre séjour, et la chambre la plus petite qu'on ait eu. Cuisine un peu petite si toutes les chambres sont occupées. Pas de living room. Cabine de douche étroite.

The location of the accommodation is out of a text book. You see the beach and behind the house you have some hiking trails. The shared bathroom was clean and the kitchen as well. The host was very helpful and gave us some tips for the region. The rooms were a bit small but you are out in nature most of the time anyway. There is space to park your car too.

Some more cooking utensils would be nice. The basics are provided.

Charming house in a charming place, the view from the house is absolutely wonderful. The accomodation is well equiped and confortable, there is everything you need for a few days. The house keepers are very sympathic and welcoming.

A beautiful location, right next to the beach and some amazing trails. Host is very responsive, friendly, helpful, and has some excellent recommendations. Facilities were all clean and taken care of. No complaints. Would definitely recommend and return.

Die Unterkunft hat nur 3 Zimmer, also sind immer wenige Leute da. Kein Frühstück, man muss selber kochen. Das Badezimmer ist gross und die Küche ist super. Die Lage ist sehr gut, knapp in der Mitte von A und Leknes. Die Unterkunft liegt an einem traumhaften Strand.

Nichts. Alles war sehr gut bis perfekt.

One of a kind...daunting mountain in the backyard and vast ocean as a front yard... this stay feels out of the world. Sweet host who will educate you about the different trekking options nearby. Drive to the location itself is fantastic.

Der Standort ist das Allerbeste ... Ryten, Kvalvika und Yttersandheia (ist den wenigsten bekannt). Unterkunft ist exakt so wie beschrieben. Gastgeber Hermod ist sehr bewandert in allem, was die Lofoten betrifft. Und darüber hinaus... ein sehr liebenswürdiger Herr! Tusen takk, Hermod.

The location is perfect, in front of the beach. We had the pleasure to have a sea view from our window. The kitchen is well equipped and always clean. The toilet as well.

In the morning (at 5:30 am) there is the sunrise. Unfortunately the curtains could not retain the Sun light coming from the outside. Hence I woke up.

Everything was absolutely perfect.

Some other guests were a bit annoying…

Jedna łazienka i mała kuchnia to niewystarczająco przy pełnym obłożeniu. Był też droższy od pozostałych naszych noclegów

Ubicación excepcional

1 baño para 4 habitaciones (dobles y triples) es muy escaso. Ocurre lo mismo con la cocina, donde solo hay espacio para una mesa de 4 personas.

Struttura vista mare e montagna, immersa nella pace del luogo. L’host è una persona splendida e disponibile che ci ha da consigli su come muoversi e cosa fare nei dintorni.

Posizione ottima, nei pressi dell’inizio del trekking Ryten. Vista sulla spiaggia incredibile. La cucina era pulita e ben attrezzata, il bagno pulito e con tutto il necessario per garantire la massima pulizia per tutti gli ospiti. Abbiamo apprezzato la bottiglia di acqua con i bicchieri in camera. Inoltre abbiamo avuto una stanza più spaziosa di quella inizialmente prenotata. Una struttura ideale per una tappa di una notte nelle Lofoten.

La comunicazione non è stata ben gestita. Avevamo ricevuto indicazioni per il self check-in ma quando siamo arrivati, nella nostra stanza c’era un’altra persona. Abbiamo quindi dovuto suonare dal proprietario (che vive al piano di sopra) e che ci ha comunicato che la camera era diversa rispetto a quella inizialmente assegnata. Inoltre sembrava non essere al corrente del fatto che ci erano state date le indicazioni per il self check-in. È presente un solo bagno per 4 camere, quindi da tenere in conto se si ha necessità di partire presto la mattina. La cucina è di ridotte dimensioni, quindi può essere necessario attendere per utilizzarla se già occupata. Inoltre non è presente un’area relax/comune ma solo la cucina. Nella stanza non era presente uno specchio.

Héroïne et son mari sont très sympathiques et serviables . Le mari d'héroïne nous a servi de chauffeur jusqu'à l'arrêt de bus , et cela pendant les 2 jours que nous avons passé chez eux car nous n'avions pas de voiture et l'arret de bus est à 4,5 km , grand merci à lui .

Les bus sur l'île ne sont pas assez fréquents , nous avons dû attendre 5h à Moskenes car nous avons raté le 1er bus à la descente du bateau !!! Le B & B Heloise 's accommodation est à 4,5 km de l'arrêt de bus , il est donc préférable d'avoir 1 voiture !!!

L’emplacement magnifique, très pratique car à côté de la route principale.

Les chambres toutes petites, la propreté n’était pas au rdv dans la chambre : mouche morte à côté des verres, veille lentille de contact usagé sous le verre à boire, poussière sous les lits. Et pourtant nous sommes pas exigeant mais pour ce prix on a eu bien mieux.

L’accueil, la cuisine et la salle de bain commune pour 3 chambres. Tout est très propre.

La chambre : lit double étroit et petite fenêtre en hauteur sans vue. Le tarif est trop élevé pour cette prestation

Un bagno condiviso per tre camere doppie, è insufficiente. La cucina è ben fornita ma piccola e con un tavola per sole quattro persone. Le camere sono accoglienti ma molto piccole.
