An amazing 2 days at the Homestay with Kishor and his family, they really treat you like one of their own! Nestled outside of town down a track, beautiful views towards the Himalayas, lovely home cooked breakfast and dinner using local organic vegetables and ingredients and comfortable facilities. A real Nepali experience that I won’t forget!
The homestay is situated far from the nagarkot town almost half an hour walk. The location of property is peaceful, beautiful and probably the best. The property is clean, well- maintained, and has all kind of facilities such as hot water shower, flushing toilet. I would come back to this property if I were to visit Nagarkot again.
I stayed at Nagarkot Trekkers Homestay for one night and had a very pleasant experience. The accommodation offers excellent value for money, making it a great budget-friendly option in Nagarkot. What stood out the most was the host family. They were extremely kind, welcoming, and attentive throughout my stay. They regularly checked on us and made sure we were comfortable, which made the experience feel warm and personal.
Location.
J’ai séjourné deux nuits à nagarkot trekkers inn. Kishor est très
Everything! Amazing views, location, comfort, food, staff!
The wifi in my cabin didn't work properly. It was a bit difficult for me to work from there and didn't have another place indoors to work.
Confort tres basique. Pas très propre. Literie très dure
Had a lovely stay with Kishor and Manju in their homestay nestled in the mountains in Nagarkot. They go out of the way to provide the best service they can for you. Great internet and a perfect escape from busy Kathmandu. Price also includes a great dinner and breakfast!
Very, very kind host. The family diners and breakfast was very tasty. Also good for vegetarian. The sunrise view from the garden was amazing. Nice location outside the touristy centre. Wifi good enough do so some work.
I had a wonderful time at Nagarkot Trekkers inn! The host is the sweetest soul and cooks really well! We have family dinner every night and I loved spending time with all the animals around. The view was also amazing 💛
the views and nature's sound
This remote stay was worthy to me, so I can guarantee there's nothing from me that I didn't like
Widoki i spokój
A great location to start the trails, we did the panoramic and route to Dhulikhel trails. On clear days you can see Mt Everest from the roof of the building. The rooms are really cosy and plenty of warm blankets if it’s cold at night. The breakfast and dinners were delicious (super generous portions, we got seconds and even thirds if we wanted. And there was a hot shower available as well.
A perfect little getaway in the mountains outside of Kathmandu. I felt immediately taken care of by the family and was even picked up at the bus stop. Delicious breakfast and dinners were included. On a clear day you could have a beautiful view of the mountains from their property. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
Super helpful hosts. Food was delicious with homegrown vegetables from the garden. Many activities on offer, amazing views at sunrise, warm water 24/7 in an authentic Homestay with family dinners together in the evening. Great WiFi too. 🙏🏻
Great location, able to view the sunset right from our room. Kishor and his family were very welcoming! Food and tea were great. Super affordable and just yeah, a great escape from the city. Bathrooms were also super clean. Bedrooms are simple but great sleep.
beautiful place, kindest people, very helpful, nice recommendations for hikes, best food - had an amazing stay
Great stay with super friendly owners. I was greeted by the owner on top of the hill where he has a small shop near the army camp. He offered me tea and drove me to the homestay on motorbike. Hot shower 24 hour. Wifi good enough to work. Organic authentic nepalese family dinner with fresh vegetables straight from the garden. I met 3 other smart solo ladies travellers here. Excellent stay. I highly recommend and will come back whenever I'm in Nagarkot. Thank you!
What an amazing wee place! Enjoyed a fantastic couple of days staying in the mountains near Nagarkot with Kishor and Manju. They were so warm and welcoming with great homemade food, trips to to the best viewpoints and views to die for literally from the bedroom window. Hot water and fast WiFi a great treat too! Nothing was too much trouble - would definitely recommend 😁
Wonderful welcoming hosts. The meals were exceptional - so delicious. And the sunrise view!
Lovely home stay In Nagarkot!! Easy access to walking trails, delicious food (breakfast and dinner) and fast wifi. It was a lot colder up there than we thought so make sure to bring some layers ☺️ but over all, great stay!
I returned to this amazing place once again. Great escape from the busy Kathmandu, into the tranquility of local village life. Great sunrise. Wi-fi is fast, you can easily work from here if necessary. Hosts always take good care and feed you well ☀️
Nice and quiet place, you can immerse yourself into the local way of life. Wonderful sunrise. Wonderful food. Kind and helpful hosts. Fast Wi-Fi Good walking routes around to enjoy surroundings Great Homestay
Really nice and welcoming people! The owner helped me with my plans and waited for me even when I arrived late in the evening. They made sure my belly was filled with organic food coming from their own backyard. Refreshing to be outside Kathmandu, enjoying the peaceful nature and cool views in Nagarkot.
Fantastyczny pobyt! Dba o każdy detal i tworzy naprawdę wyjątkową atmosferę. Jedzenie przepyszne, domowe i świeże – idealne po dniu w górach. To miejsce ma w sobie coś wyjątkowego. Zdecydowanie polecam i chętnie tu wrócę!
Beautiful place. A place with a soul filled with positive energy. The view and care of the host is wonderful.
My wife and I had such a lovely stay with Kishor and Manju in Nagarkot. Their lovely home is off the beaten path and felt like the perfect way to experience Nepali life. They are the best hosts, greeting us on the roadside with tea and then cooking us a delicious dinner with food from their beautiful garden. We slept amazingly (both because it was so quiet and because the beds are so cosy) and were treated to a nice sunrise which we watched through the window. We even got more tea and a bowl of tasty soup in the morning, which was the perfect start to another day of hiking. We can’t wait to come back!!
Nothing 🙂 Kishor and Manju were the perfect hosts!
The host is very friendly and welcoming. He kindly allowed me to check in early at 11:00 am since the room was already available. He also cooked breakfast and dinner, which I appreciated. A portable heater was provided. Although it was not very effective during the cold night, it was still better than nothing and I appreciated the effort. The sunrise view is beautiful. The host also prepared delicious tea at his shop (not free of charge). There is a nice garden area, which adds to the peaceful atmosphere.
The property is not accessible by car. Guests need to walk down a hill from the main road, and most drivers are not willing to drive down the rough road. However, the host kindly offered to pick us up by motorbike from his shop. Please also note that there are no street lights, so it is very dark at night. The shared toilet is located outside the room, which can be seen in the photos. The table in the room was dusty, and the bedding did not feel very clean, I had to clean it myself before using it. The host arranged transport to Kathmandu for 2500 NPR. While he mentioned it would be a good and spacious car, it turned out to be a small Suzuki Alto without air conditioning. Using inDrive would have cost less than 2000 NPR. Perhaps this is standard in Nepal, but it was not what I expected. The room was also not soundproof as stated on Booking.com. My neighbour could clearly hear the noise when I accidentally dropped something on the floor. During my stay, it was foggy all day, so unfortunately I could not see the Himalayan mountains.
The authenticity and beautiful gardens.
I stayed for one night in one of the cottages of trekkers inn. After arrival I was warmly greeted with tea at their local tea shop along main street. As the stay is a bit off the road and i arrived when it already got dark, Kishor, the host, was so friendly and gave me a lift with his motorbike, from his tea shop to their house. The rooms are furnished simple. Once i opened the window, i could see the family's garden and if weather had been clear i would have had an amazing view, i am sure. The homestay is located among other traditional village houses. 2,1 km away from nagarkot center/market. 3,4 km from survey tower (which was closed) but you can get view from the spot itself. The balcony (see pics from owner) is private, but you can take the ladder up on a open rooftop for getting view or chilling. We ate traditional dal bhat together in the evening. Next day i had a small breakfast at the tea shop, as is usual with the locals. Kishor prepared simple porridge with banana for me, as i don't like doughnuts.
If i have had stayed longer than one night, i would have missed a cozy common area.
When I arrived to Nagarkot Trekkers Inn I was truly impressed. Location, facilities and warm welcome by lovely couple running the business - Kishor and his wife Manju. Nagarkot Trekkers Inn is one of the few places I have so far visited which deserves to be called as Heaven on Earth. Hotel has beautiful combination of things. Great location with stunning view to the Himalayas. Very authentic and cosy typical Nepali dwellings with the right equipment for Your deeply enjoyable stay. Comfortable bed, a desk with chair and small nice cabinet is all You need. Kishor and Manju are exceptional hosts. They make You immediately feel like at home. Sharing all the resources they do have available including the organic products of their garden. Hotel is equipped with western style toilet, so You don’t need to worry about the hole. :) But please be aware to not throw the toilet paper to the toilet and use the bin next to the toilet instead. Kishor has recently build a very modern shower allowing female travelers to do all the beauty stuff as You feel up to. :)) Hotel is digital nomad ready as Kishor and Mandu are doing their best to provide as high quality service as possible. There is a fiber connection in the hotel providing speed up to 400 Mbps, which is exceptional for the location. Ready for regular remote workers and video content maker requiring high-speed Internet connection. Another highlight of my stay are the exceptional meals You aree getting served every morning and evening. I have truly enjoyed (not only!) the flavorful Dal Bhat with variety of fresh organic vegetables. If You are a meat eater, You can enjoy some meat as well. Kishor and Manju are both great chefs as they are running their own shop on the main road above the hotel. They are very flexible in regards of the food they serve. You can enjoy variety from fresh fruits and vegetables over local bakery and samosa to Dal Bhat, Momo and other goodies.
I am very sure the food will make Your belly very happy. You can take a lunch at Kishor’s and Manju shop if you want to enjoy Your stay without walking to the local village. Kishor and Manju are focused on sharing the most from the warm-hearted Nepali culture with its guests. There are several attractions around the place You can visit either by walk or by bike with Kishor. He is offering all range of adventures to be experienced together. I spent a great time with Kishor. He guided me to the nearby Nagarkot Zipline and one of the longest suspension bridges. Just below it, and there is a beautiful waterfall underneath worthy to visit especially in the warm days. Kishor has guided me with passion to some of the local temples in Bhaktapur and its surroundings. He also offered me the paragliding, so sky is the limit here. Kishor will try to make Your dreams come true if You speak them out. I want to mention one more thing which is very important for me as one of my leading principles is “Sharing is caring”. Kishor and Manju or not only helping its guests, but their are actively helping the local community. They are helping local kids to get appropriate school equipment and to be decently dressed. Also they are supporting elderly and poor members of community. Spending time with them, providing the basic goods and medication. There are also lot of public workers working on different constructions around Nagarkot. These people work in harsh conditions and are not appropriately paid. Kishor and Manju are trying to make their life better by providing them warm clothes. All these activities are expression of good hearth and deep will to selflessly help the community they are part of. Once You arrive, you can become part of the community as well. If You are going to visit Nepal for the first time, please ask yourself what experience You want to get from Nepal. If You are looking for the authentic and heartwarming experience - go for Nagarkot Trekkers Inn!
A hidden haven carved into the hillside—this homestay offered me something rare: stillness, friendship, and a breath of nature untouched by the noise of the city. Just far enough from the madness of Kathmandu, yet close enough to feel its pulse fading with each hour, I found space here—to rest, to laugh, to return to myself. The dinners were some of the most honest and nourishing I’ve had on my travels—homegrown, homemade, and always served with heart and a smile. The soundscape? Pure nature. Birds, breeze, and quiet. No horns, no chaos. Just peace. This isn’t just a guesthouse—it’s a home, lovingly built by a kind and hardworking husband and wife. You feel their warmth in everything: the food, the care, the land, the way they make you feel like you belong. If you’re searching for a place to soften, to exhale, to remember what matters—come here.
Nothing! :)
My stay at Nagarkot Trekkers Inn was nothing short of magical. If you're looking for the perfect place to witness the majestic beauty of the Himalayas, look no further. From the moment I arrived, I was treated warmly by the owner. They were incredibly helpful and friendly, and went out of their way to ensure my stay was comfortable. The main highlight, of course, was the view. Waking up to a panoramic vista of the snow-capped Himalayan range was an unforgettable experience. The hotel is perfectly positioned to offer some of the best views in Nagarkot, right from my room's window! The room itself was clean, with two beds, a desk, and a fast internet connection. The breakfast and Dal Bhat were also delicious, offering a wonderful taste of local Nepali cuisine that was both hearty and flavorful. Nagarkot Trekkers Inn offers an authentic and heartwarming experience with a fantastic view. Highly recommended!
A nice little place in the hills away from the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu. As a Homestay, I was made welcome and invited into the family. This gave a real flavour of the Nepalise way of life in the rural areas which was a real experience. There was plenty of birdsong
Very peaceful location, good food, amazing sunrises 🌄
Trekkers Inn is a peaceful retreat accessible by local bus from Bhaktapur to Nagarkot (around 75 rupees). From the bus stop, the owner arranged for a motorcycle pickup and brought us to the main road leading to his home. From there, it’s about a 15-minute walk. The location offers a stunning view across the valley. Since it faces away from the Kathmandu Valley and towards the Everest side, I imagine the air quality is fresher. A charming vegetable garden surrounds the house, adding to the peaceful, rural vibe. Accommodation is simple but more than adequate. The toilet and shower are located outside, but everything was clean and functional. Dinner was definitely a highlight—especially the fresh, homegrown vegetables. We were genuinely happy with the food! One day, they kindly let us cook some vegetables we had brought along ourselves. We also had the chance to do a big load of laundry by hand, which was really helpful during our stay. The owner is extremely friendly and shared a lot about his life and the area. His wife was more reserved and didn’t speak much, but she worked incredibly hard from morning till evening. We left Nagarkot by booking an InDrive from the town center. A local taxi driver quoted us 3,500 rupees for the trip to Thamel in Kathmandu. However, an InDrive driver initially accepted 1,600 rupees through the app but later started asking for a higher fare via chat. After some negotiation, we ended up paying 2,500 rupees.
One small downside: we noticed a few cigarette butts near the garden. If you smoke, please be mindful—cigarette waste can release heavy metals into the soil, which may be absorbed by the vegetables. Also, be sure to take your trash with you; otherwise, it might be burned or end up scattered in nature.
If you are looking for a remote location, local experience and stunning views, it is a perfect place!
The place is beautiful And the guest owner is really sweet Good and relaxing stay
A chance to get away from the noise for a few days! Good local, organic food, a very welcoming host, a new shared western toilet and shower. A lovely dog Shadow, Nepali family everywhere going about there day and spectacular views on and around the property and many walks to easily wander along.
The hosts were very friendly, and the food and view were excellent.
My friend and I reserved two separate rooms, but only one room was given when checking in. At checkout, we were told to still pay the price for two rooms. The reservation also said there there was heating, but there was in fact none provided.
Very calm place with a beautiful family, Its like a home environment. Host was very friendly with his great hospitality.
Serene and rural life in the cliffside of Nargakot. Facilities including WiFi, hot shower, clean toilet, organic food and comfortable beds made the place perfect. The quality of care from the family made me feel safe and at home. Would highly recommend to other solo travellers looking to immerse themselves in local culture.
Nothing
Nagarkot Trekkers Inn offered a peaceful getaway from my stay in Kathmandu. Kishor was a communicative host who ensured that I had everything that I needed. My room was simple but satisfactory and the home cooked meals at night were absolutely delicious. It was lovely to get to know him and his way of life. Thank you, Kishor! Many blessings to you.
The overall experience was beautiful with the classic nepali locality vibe and rural raw lifestyle with comfort of modern facilities. Its a nice cozy homestay. There are natural places to see around the homestay.
For a budget option in Nagakot Trekkers Inn is perfect. It’s about a 20-30 min walk from the main town but the stunning view more than makes up for it. The local breakfast and dinner were very nice and grown in the owners garden. They have also recently installed a western toilet and a shower with warm water. It does get cold at night but there is a small heater in the room and also extra blankets. The heater isn’t super strong so maybe something to consider if you are visiting in the winter time.
The room was a little dusty and the surfaces could do with a clean. The whole time I was there there was a really big push from the owner to leave a good review. I understand reviews are important but it was brought up so frequently it made me feel a bit uncomfortable and like that everything he was doing was for the review which overshadowed the authentic homestay feeling. There was also a time where we were invited for tea at the shop after coming back from a walk. We were charged for the tea. I’m always happy to pay and it’s not much (only 20 rupees) however I think if you invite someone whose a guest it should be made clearer that it’s not included in the homestay cost just to avoid any confusion. (Or if you’re a guest maybe best just to double check!)
Thank you for a lovely stay. Trekkers Inn is a very relaxing place to be. Such good value for money. It has everything included: wifi, hot shower, new western style toilet, warm blankets and very friendly owners who make you feel like part of the family straight away. The dinner is delicious too using all ingredients from the garden and breakfast was filling and tasty. The view from the window is beautiful and you can go up to the rooftop to see the sunrise and it’s a great place to do yoga too. Dai also lent me a mat so I could do yoga up there. You can also get to the view tower easily. Couldn’t recommend highly enough if you’re looking for a peaceful, local experience.
great food, nice owner, nice wifi, beautiful location. beautiful garden, home grown good.
there’s now small construction patch on the territory which looks a bit untidy
A fantastic stay at Nagarkot trekkers In .The owner was incredibly friendly and accommodating, the rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the location was perfect for sunrise view. We especially loved the delicious local style dinner and breakfast.
Awesome homestay with mountain panorama views. The hosts are lovely and make you delicious breakfast and dinner. A true local experience. Sunrise view from the room’s window is magical.
I had the most fabulous 2 nights at Trekkers Inn. Highly recommended this guest house if you are seeking an authentic Nepali experience. The views were magnificent, and the family were so kind...I ended up staying an extra day! Great value for money, and I really hope to visit again soon. Can recommend the trip to the new suspension bridge, definitely a highlight. Thanks so much Koshir 😊
Everything was great.
Been all over Nepal and this was our favourite Homestay. Thanks to Kishore and his family. Our highlights were: amazing scenic location looking toward the Himalayas, all home cooked meals (organically grown at the property) and great atmosphere in the evening, everyone around a campfire. Great WiFi and hot water all day. Highly recommend for all travellers
Nothing. Everything was good.
It was just a random decision to book a stay in Nagarkot for my last few days of stay in Nepal. Luckily, I found this homestay. The owner is very responsive to all of the queries i had and instructed me how to get to their location from Kathmandu. So it is roughly around 1.5hrs from Bakhtapur to the last bus stop in Nagarkot. From there, the owner is already waiting for me to pick me up on his motorbike. We them stopped by their local store to have some tea and met his lovely wife. The homestay is located around 10mins away from the main road by motorbike and in this alone, I already had a wonderful view of the himalayas. I stayed in a room with 1single bed and 1double bed with a nice sunrise view from my window. It is a shared toilet and bath which is decent and clean. Hot shower is also available. Surprisingly very good wifi connection everywhere within the property. The family has their own garden where they grow their own organic crops. Imagine how will be your meals during your stay. I super love the meals they prepared for me. Mr. KISHOR also arranges trekking tours, day trips, day tours, nature activities. He will give you all the details you need and give you the best prices possible. I ended up roaming around the vicinity with him on his motorbike and it was another great experience for me. We visited some key places such as the suspension bridge, Buddha Peace Park, Nagarkot View Point at sunset, and some other spots for taking great photos. To sum it up, 5⭐️ location, room, food, ambiance, view, activities, and most especially, top-notch hospitality from the family. They made sure that I had a great stay with them not just as a Guest, but as a Family as well. All the best NAGARKOT TREKKERS INN HOMESTAY! See you again soonest!😍
Leaving this wonderful place is so heavy. I wish I could stay longer.
Sunrise panoramic view from the room, dinner, breakfast is provided, great farm stay experience to understand the local culture, highly recommended. It is not easy to sustain a fabulous rating from more than 200 guests. 30 minutes walk from the bus park, the owner is running the grocery shop on the last 10 minutes walk down hill to homestay
Nil
Lovely locatlon outside the village, perfect for sunrise and sunset. Experienced family business, with nice home-grown food, and simple, authentic facilliies. It provides a fascinating look at Nepali daily life. Echoing others' advice: the homestay is approached off main road down a steep rocky track. Fine for well-clad frekkers, arriving in daylight! Otherwise host might offer to meet you at his roadside shop, with his motorbike. If arriving by taxi, you may have to budget an extra 100 - 200 rupees for driver to take you down the track. Well worth it to stay in that location.
The location and hosts were beautiful!
We like the friendliness and extra support to find a comfortable taxi back to the city.
Initial effort to find the sign board for the stay home.
The place was incredible. You can see the sunrise from the window of your room and still better from the little rooftop they have in the garden. There is hot water and WiFi and the owners are super kind and friendly. They cooked dinner and breakfast for me, very nice! :) The house is the most peaceful place I’ve ever seen and it’s also not so far from the view point where you see the sunset.
If you want to experience the Nepalese culture this is the place to be. Very back to basic but surrounded by the beautiful mountains and nature. The owner is very helpful in organizing things and you can ask him about anything.
Loved our stay here wish we had longer than one night. Great hosts that looked after us really well and cooked lovely homemade food from their garden. Beautiful view of sunrise and the mountains from the guesthouse. Facilities are basic but all you need, great value for money!
Amazing generous hosts who cooked me amazing food. So friendly and the view was amazing!
Just good to know it’s 30 minutes outside of town! (also kept being asked to leave a review including a phone call after I left)
The host Kishor is really lovely and helpful. WiFi is excellent considering it’s on a hill at 1800m elevation. Dinners were delicious. The room was clean (and had extra blankets) and had a great view of the mountains. Kishor made us feel at home and shared a lot about his way of life. He helped us organise bikes and taxis. We enjoyed relaxing at the Trekkers Inn, snuggling a few baby goats and enjoying our surroundings. I would highly recommend the Trekkers Inn if you’re looking for a local and down to earth experience with a a great host.
We used an InDrive to get there from Kathmandu in a heavy rain storm. The taxi didn’t want to go all the way down to the house as his car was electric and he was worried about getting out. The host walked all the way up to meet us anyway and showed us where to go. He mentioned that a lot of taxis would come there. So just be mindful.
I stayed much longer than expected cause I liked it so much. Kishor and his wife are so helpful and warm. There is Wifi and you can use the whole garden to find a nice spot for yourself. There is also hot water 24 h. And the best part are the delicious dinners with organic vegetables from the garden!
Such a beautiful place surrounded by flowers and vegetable gardens and with a fantastic view. I felt so warmly welcomed by Kishor and his wife. They are making really yummy food with ingredients from their garden and can help out with any kind of question. On the first day he even made me a spontaneous lunch cause I was so hungry. On the first morning we got up early to see the sunrise and it was really worth it! Kishor also arranged an Reiki session for me at his friends place who is also a professional yoga teacher. After all I stayed longer because I really felt home there and enjoyed every minute I spent at Trekkers Inn. Won’t forget this place!
The people there, Kishor and his family, make you feel warm and be part of the real Nepal, away from the chaotic Kathmandu. Local food from their homegrown vegetables, recommendations for trekkings, quite good individual room
The food was delicious, homegrown vegetables and local meat. We also drank delicious tea from the garden. The location is beautiful, a little far from the rest of nagarkot but with a stunning view of the mountains. We loved the hospitality of the hosts. They were so kind to wait for us to have a family dinner together, even though we arrived later than expected.
It is difficult to get to this location in the evening, even at around 6pm it was hard to get a taxi.
I had a great stay at Nagarkot Trekkers Inn! Mr. Kishor picked me up at the last stop of the bus station and gave me a lot of milk tea and coffee 😁 he was very hospitable, friendly and he was always available when you need anything. He also cooked really good dinner and i loved it (Nepali Thali)! I had complimentary momo also before i go (super delicious)! ♥️ The wifi at his place was surprisingly good i regret not bringing my laptop, i could have extended and work here 🥹 The view from his place was stunning! The sunrise was great and i am glad the weather was good during my stay ♥️ He was my tour guide, driver, and cook. He can be an all around for his guests 😄 i highly recommend this place for a true Nepali experience. Dont expect a 5-star place tho because it's a very local home, with hot water and basic facilities. But expect more from the level of service that he gives! Highly recommended! I'd love to come back! Thank you for everything!

The owner is very kind and accommodating! If you want a good sunrise view this is the place for you. This also applies if you want a traditional and local experience with a true Nepali!
It's in the middle of the Mountains which is all that you need for peace
This is not Just a Homestay this is a Home where you can feel best Host Kishor ji and Her Wife is so Kind and Sweet Found my Second Home in Nepal 🌸❤️
It was an amazing experience staying at that place. We experienced a fully local time with my friends and the hosts were taking care of us as if we were member from the family ! We extended our stay for more days since it was really great. Food was also really nice! I highly recommend for any traveller who wants to enjoy the local experience!

If you want a getaway from the bustle of Kathmandu, this is the perfect spot. Kishor, the owner is the most welcoming and sweet person and has created this beautiful little escape in the middle of paradise. Surrounded by nature and his garden, he and his family will cook you some wonderful local organic food and you can just sit on the patio and enjoy the view. They are so welcoming and make sure you have everything you need. Even in raintime and with many clouds this place is truly special and when the sky opens up you have magnificent views. You can see the whole valley right from your room window or from the roof top. There is hot water and good wifi available as well, making this very local and authentic place really comfortable also. I wish I'd have more time to stay here but hopefully one day I'll be back!
Just be aware that this is a simple and local homestay. Don't expect any luxury but if you are open for the experience you will be so rewarded.
The owner is nice and wants to please his guesses. Good View of Himalayas when there is no fog. All organic food fresh from his orchard.
Bathroom and shower rudimentary. « Rooftop » hard to get to- the stairs are flimsy and you need yo be very fit to go up and down. Far from main road. Not much around.
Had an amazing stay at Nagarkot Trekkers Inn; it definitely felt like a home away from home! Kishor picked me up from the busstation, which was very nice. The property is perfect for a getaway in nature, very peaceful with a perfect view for sunrise over the mountains. If you look for a place to get out of busy Kathmandu, you should come here. The food is delicious, all organic, and homemade. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and the Wi-Fi works perfectly. Since the place is run by a family, it creates a very welcoming athmosphere and Kishor made so many efforts to show me around. He also organises various treks around the area. I couldn’t recommend this place more!
I stayed here after a hike from Dhulikel to Nagarkot, and the place was super easy to find. The family was super kind and lovely to talk to. We felt very accommodated:) The food was also some of the best food I've had in Nepal. I wish I'd had time to stay here a little longer.
nothing.
I was here for one night. The owner picked me up from the bus station and brought me back which was very nice. The location ist right in the nature with a great view and close to the lookout tower. He offered me tea and cooked very nice meals for me with ingredients from his own garden. The rooms are simpel, but there’s a hot shower and even WiFi. I would absolutely recommend it!
Had a peaceful stay at this tranquil property. On top of it, it's the most accessible location to all of the hiking trails around and in Nagarkot.Host is a great local guide and knows all the routes well. Host also provides short workshops on organic farming and traditional nepali cooking. They serve delicious home made food, with organic vegetables from their own small farm at the property.
