Reviewed Aug 22, 2026La casa è molto bella, il giardino pieno di fiori e il patio sono una oasi dove poter vivere momenti di relax nella natura e cultura del posto. La padrona di casa, ci ha accolto con premura e non invadenza. La nostra camera e il bagno avevano una separazione dal resto della casa e ci siamo sentiti in perfetta privacy e autonomia. La casa è a pochi passi dal centro di Lillehammer e si può parcheggiare l’auto davanti la casa e passeggiare a piedi. Lo consiglio ai viaggiatori.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026Heerlijk geslapen in leuk ingerichte kamer. Aardige host en ligt dichtbij centrum en speeltuin.
Kamer, badkamer en hal daartussen zijn gescheiden met gordijn van huis van de eigenaren. Op zich geen probleem.

Reviewed Jul 12, 2026Le cadre était juste magnifique…. Pour avoir séjourner en famille 2 adultes et 2 enfants, cela était parfait. Wenche était à disposition en cas de soucis. La terrasse était aussi magnifique. Ses 2 chats accueillaient le matin et le soir. Étant un transport public, en 10-15 minutes on arrive depuis la gare et ceci très facilement. Je ne peux que recommander cette adresse.. si j arrive revenir sur Lillehammer, c est ici que je reviendrai

Reviewed Mar 8, 2026Příjemné prostředí, nedaleko centra. Velmi milá paní, která nás ubytovala. Vlastní ložnice, lednice, mikrovlnná trouba. Kuchyně mohla být sdílená, kd jsme i toto využili. Možnost nabízí elektro auto, možnost pračky a sušičky.
Není to problém pro všechny, ale byly zde dvě kočky.. já jsem alergický, ale dalo se to zvládnout

Reviewed Jan 18, 2026Alt gikk på skinner. Velkomst og informasjonsmelding før ankomst. Enkelt å finne frem, parkeringsplass, rent og hyggelig, hyggelig vertskap og kort å gå til sentrum. Vi storkoste oss!

La chambre, malgré tout un peu petite pour 4 personnes malgré la mezzanine bien organisée.

Reviewed Jul 20, 2025Отличный дом, прекрасная хозяйка, все было очень качественно и хорошо. Наш ребенок постоянно играл с двумя прекрасными котами. Хозяйка позволила воспользоваться зарядкой для автомобиля.
Было немного некомфортно из-за того что хозяйка тоже живет в этом доме с вами, но Это некритично! Хозяйка очень приятная женщина!!!

Reviewed Jul 3, 2024Location was very convenient with just a short walk to the centre of Lillehammer yet in a quiet residential setting. Host was friendly and responsive but not intrusive. Full use of kitchen & dinning area plus private bathroom with good powerful shower plus access to washing machine & tumble drier. Beds are very comfortable. Cats are friendly and good for cat-lovers.
These are not so much dislikes but balanced comments & observations: The bedroom is literally one room but on two levels (beware if you have a snorer in the family!) The stairs to the upper level are quite steep & narrow. Not a problem for us but beware for small children or elderly people. The was no effective curtain upstairs, which caused a minor problem during very light nights. We improvised.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2023I was not actually able to experience the house because I could not get to Lillehammer due to the many roads closed during the floods caused by the heavy rains (Storm Hans), but I had a bad experience when interacting with the owner. When I asked for a cancellation with refund due to weather conditions, they first used Booking as an excuse to deny my request and after they simply ignored my messages, showing a total lack of empathy with our struggles with the rain on our road trip. So, if you have problems while in Norway, don't expect help from the people at The Gingerbread House.
