Pepi‘s Apartment

Perfect property for a 3 night stay in Hallstatt, just outside the centre away from the hustle and bustle - supermarket right next door. Huge space and was spotless when we arrived.

Nothing - it was a perfect stay.

The size of flat, the size of beds, wooden decor reminds me of a Scandinavian cabin, view from the balcony and central location.

The tap system in the bath is a little confusing - I managed to turn it on eventually but using random movements. The ceilings are quite low, so I as a tall person, hit my head. The flowers on the balcony obscure the great view a bit. The normal TV didn't work so couldn't explore Austrian TV.

Property location and views were the best. Especially the fact that parking was included.

The flat is big and well located near the city (and bus station) but not in the turmoil center. It is upstair, the top floor in a nice house where a grandma lives. She is very nice. The flat is well furnished. It is also near hiking pathways.

There is a bit a noise from the road nearby but it stops during the night si that is ok .

La salle de bains vétuste qui mériterait un coup de peinture Le frigo n'était pas dégivré, il ne refroidissait pas. Dommage que ce soit si cher .... 2 nuits à Hallstatt c'est déjà trop, y' a pas grand chose à y faire. Attention les restaurateurs sur place sont excédés par le tourisme et ferment les cuisines à 20h.

The location was excellent and the apartment was very comfortable.

Excellent location. We were in apartment 1 and enjoyed the balcony in the morning. Easy walk to town. It's a 15 minute walk from the main ferry stop. We appreciated the coffee and snack!

Be aware the second bedroom is off the kitchen with no door between...it's open. We made it work just fine.

Convenient and prime location. The view is spectacular. Parking in front of the home. Comfortable home. Friendly host.

No microwave and no clothes dryer (we pack light across Europe, and traveling with kids). We found a few kitchen tools moldy or dusty. But everything else we experienced there outshine these few things.

Great setup and location. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and very clean. The washing machine was a great bonus with little kids.

We very much like the apartment (clean, tidy, complete, well maintained & equipped), which is ideally located, with a view to the Hallsttater See & town. Very friendly owner.

We loved the location and how convenient the apartment was. We arrived soaking wet and the washing machine was incredible. The apartment was warm and it included everything we needed.

I like the overall stay near the lake - the sunrise, sunset are absolutely phenomenal. The lake, bus stop and everything is so near. Rooms are spacious and have all the necessary amenities - definitely recommend everyone to stay here in Hallstatt.

I would love the kitchen light to be more, it could have been improved a lot.

房間整體來說很棒，我們只有兩個人入住但實際上因為是整層樓，其實床位可以住到四個人；房東人很好，入住當天有遇到浴室設備出了點小問題，但是隔天馬上處理完畢，讓第二天舒適許多，窗外風景也很美～廚房有提供很多調味料，對於會在家裡煮飯的我們非常需要！真的有像家的感覺～樓下是住房東的奶奶，人也很好很可愛

房子的地點在整個小鎮觀光區偏尾端的地方，距離主要到哈斯塔特搭船的港口稍嫌遠了一些，加上我們剛好遇到下雪，拖著大行李走一段路真的有點很累；但如果是搭公車的朋友，或許離非常近，只是我們沒有特別研究公車的停靠位置，如果有想入住的人可以再多多考慮～

Our winter vacation in Europe and manage to book 2 nights in this lovely apartment from Christmas day. Location is just perfect and the view from the balcony was really gorgeous where you can see the alps and the lake. As when we were there it's snowing and hence did not spend too much time at the balcony. But it was lovely enough for our meals there. The view was really beautiful. The place is clean, heater worked properly and kitchen was well equip. There is also bathtub to enjoy. It's convenient enough as the grocery store was just a short walk away

This place is a great place for winter retreat. It is a stone away from the lake. I enjoyed waking up to see the lake and the peace after the tourist leave. I have so much to rave about this place - it is homely, spacious and everything you need to make your stay feels at home. Oma took care of us. She gave us tips - that we didn't find online. We love Hallstatt and stayed there for 4 nights. It wasn't enough. I wish we stayed longer to enjoy the village and this beautiful home.

This place is an absolutely wonderful winter retreat — just a stone’s throw from the lake! Waking up to peaceful lake views, especially after the day-trippers leave, was one of the highlights of our stay. There’s so much to love about this home: it’s cozy, spacious, and fully equipped with everything you need to feel completely at ease. It truly felt like a home away from home. Oma took such good care of us, sharing thoughtful tips we never would have found online. Her kindness made our stay even more special. We fell in love with Hallstatt and stayed for four nights… and honestly, it wasn’t enough. I wish we could have stayed longer to soak in more of the village’s charm and the comfort of this beautiful home.

The view from the balcony is great. You can have a cup of coffee on the balcony and leisurely look at the lake view of Hallstatt.

It is a little far from the ship's pier, about a 10-15 minute walk. It is difficult to walk with a suitcase, but not difficult to do.

Lovely little apartment in Halstatt! Great place to escape the crowds but still be close to the action. Just a note that the main bedroom is attached to the main living area, but wasn't an issue for us! Grandma is so very sweet and made the stay extra memorable! Lovely balcony for a wine/coffee/tea. Highly recommend.

The apartment felt like a home away from home. There was everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The balcony looked over the lake and was right at the ferry station to go to Obertraun. Grandma who lives downstairs welcomed us and let us know where the supermarket and bakery were. It was only a short stroll to the market area where there were shops and restaurants.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

الشقه في الدور الثالث ولا يوجد مصعد ولا يوجد استقبال ولايوجد من يحمل الحقائب . ولم نرى او نقابل صاحبة الشقه الا قبل السفر .حيث تركت لنا المفتاح في صندوق عند الباب . لا انصح بها كبار السن ومن لديهم حقائب كبيره لان الدرج متعب .

Las vistas, el parking y la ubicación. Cuando llegamos no funcionaba la luz de un dormitorio y vinieron a arreglarlo cuando no estábamos con nuestras pertenencias dentro este punto bien y mal por no esperar a que llegáramos.

Poco mantenimiento de las instalaciones, frigorífico regular y congelador roto con alimentos,picaporte roto.no había utensilios y menaje de cocina suficiente, no había cucharitas para el café del desayuno,ni tijeras. Los juegos faltaban piezas en todos no pudiendo jugar a nada. La calefacción no se puede regular. Tenía alimentos tipo especias caducados.Las cortinas mal puestas casi para caerse. Para lo que se paga, pueden tenerlo mejor ,limpieza lo justo.No invierten en mejoras en el apartamento.

The apartment is right at the beginning of town which is really crowded in summer and very hard to park in. The parking for Pepi's is right in front of the house that the apartment is in. It is then an easy walk to the Saltwerk and the rest of town. It made staying in Hallstatt a lot nicer. The apartment is big, clean, modern and comes with everything you need if you want to cook or just relax on the balcony with great views of the lake. The hosts and very nice.

Halstatt is very crowded in summer with tons of day trippers arriving by numerous buses, boats and cars. But Pepi's makes it so bearable.

The apartment is situated in Hallstatt but has great parking - you really are in the centre of things. It is very well equipped with everything you need for a stay and you don’t need to use the car once there if it’s Hallstatt you’ve come to see. The beds were comfortable and the balcony is great. We enjoyed a visit to the salt mine, some lovely walks round Hallstatt, hired an electric boat for a lovely hour on the lake and a short walk away there is a bathing area where you can relax on the grass and swim in the lake. We’d brought our paddle board so we used this there too.

Nothing to dislike - the main bedroom is open plan so privacy isn’t ideal but it is a lovely room. The apartment is a little old fashioned for the cost but it is an expensive area to stay so it is fair enough. You are next to the main road into Hallstatt but you do have a lake view.

没有电扇，但是屋内很凉爽，这边确实用不到空调和电扇。

Als je Hallstatt wil bezoeken is die een top locatie om te overnachten. Parkeren naast het appartement. Het appartement is net en ruim. Ga zeker ook wandelen naar de watervallen.

Niets. Wel een tip om het appartement te vinden; het appartement ligt net voor de grote tunnel links als je vanaf Obertraun komt.

Perfect location right next to the lake, very close to the central part of Hallstatt, yet in a peaceful and quiet environment. The apartment is very cozy and has a lovely vibe. Everything is provided to be comfortable on spot. We definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Hallstatt for a few days.

The location is amazing and the views are spectacular. Being able to park on site is brilliant as parking in Hallstatt is generally a nightmare. Hallstatt is an incredible place to visit.

The facilities are VERY run down and the apartment is very tired and as this is a very expensive apartment, the value for money is extremely poor. The fridge is ancient and the freezer compartment has obviously been frozen shut for some time, so we could not use it. The bathroom smelt and was really tired. A coffee capsule machine and many capsules is provided, which is nice, but the machine itself is defunct or needs servicing as it only provides a dribble. I tried cleaning the coffee supply nozzle but no joy. The initial communication with the host was fine but subsequent communication was quite poor and we weren’t sent the key safe code until after we had arrived. So the location and parking spot are great and the apartment is comfortable enough but definitely not worth the money in our opinion.

This was our favorite place to stay of our two week vacation in Austria. Hallstatt is a beautiful town and Pepi's Apartment allowed me to sit on the balcony, drink a coffee, and look over the lake. The apartment is comfortable and in a great location. The host is a very sweet elderly Austrian lady that is a delight to speak to. I would love to return to Hallstatt and Pepi's Apartment is where I would stay.

Amazing location with wonderful views of the lake. Very clean and has everything you need for the perfect vacation. Comfortable beds and so nice having a washing machine. Parking was so easy and very safe in the gated private property. We look forward to returning to Pepi’s apartment next time, we visit the area. Highly recommend it.

Our Hallstatt holiday was like living in a postcard for three days. "Grandma" Carola was our perfect host; there to welcome us with a smile and to say goodbye at the end. The apartment is beautifully located at the southern end of the Hallstatt tourist walk, a stone's throw from the skywalk funicular and the bus station. The balcony with views over the lake and mountains was a bonus. Highly recommended!

Grandma was a true delight and her hospitality was a highlight of our stay, the beds were the most comfortable we have stayed on, location was perfect and with free parking, all the facilities you need to be self sufficient. I absolutely recommend!

Pepi's Apartment was adequate for our needs. We appreciated having a balcony with a view, a washer, and plenty of space. It was nice to have the Nespresso pods, dish soap, and dishwasher tablets. It also was nice to have a small blanket on the bed; we used it instead of the comforter. The bakery was right across the street, as was one grocery store. There is another grocery down the street. Carola was very responsive and proactive.

It was about a 15-minute walk to the ferry landing; with luggage in tow, it was not so easy on the cobblestone streets. I knew from pictures and other guests' reviews that the ceilings were slanted and not really suitable for tall people. The shower is small with no place to put soap, shaver, etc. The tub was nice but hard to get out of (again, the slanted ceiling). There was no shampoo--just little bottles of body wash. The kitchen cookware/utensils were minimal.

Location

Could not control temperature. No kettle. The main bedroom wasn’t actually a bedroom. It’s more like a bedsit . It is open to the sitting room and kitchen so privacy is compromised.

With little kids it is a long walk from the ferry and the wi-fi was below average. Be prepared to carry your bags upstairs. Some updates would be good.
