We really enjoyed our stay at My Dominicus Beach Retreat. The ground floor apartment in the Estrella Dominicus Complex, was beautifully decorated, very clean and comfortable. It had a comfy bed, en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, and a well equipped open plan kitchen. We especially loved the balcony overlooking the pool and the hammock which was perfect for relaxing. The complex has several lovely swimming pool, peacefully atmosphere and very beautiful garden. The location is excellent, about 10 minute walk to Dominicus beach, in a quiet and safe area with nearby mini markets and restaurants. Bayahibe town and the marina for tours to Saona Island are only about 20 min away.

We enjoyed our stay very much and had no significant complaints.

Un bel apartamento,moderno,con un bel terrazzo di fronte alle piscine,molto bello! In piu ci sono le guardie che sorvegliano tutto il complesso 24 su 24!

Forse la mancanza di un aspirapolvere,con la scopa tradizionale non si riesce a pulire benissimo,questo a parere mio

El departamento muy completo en cuanto a la implementación, aseo y ubicación. Se logra tener un buen descanso. Cerca de minimarket y restaurantes caminando. Nuestra anfitriona Berasaida, muy preocupada con una atención destacable. Los datos y contactos entregados confiables al 100%. Cerca de la playa. Lo recomiendo a ojos cerrados.

The location, the security, the pools and the cleanliness

Sofa in living room not comfortable, especially the small grey one since it was small , so good for children , so the property good for a family with children but not for 4 adults ….

Todo excelente, cómodo, limpio, la cocina súper equipada! La alberca bonita, la terraza genial!! Súper bien ubicada, el lugar muy seguro. La anfitriona muy amable, nos ayudó todo el tiempo!!

Todo estuvo excepcional, pero la tranquilidad, las piscinas, la belleza del lugar, la vegetación y ambiente fueron extraordinarios. Se sentía una paz sobrenatural

Spacious modern and clean. Loved the hammock on the balcony. Well equipped kitchen. Free water. A myriad of swimming pools and very quiet when I was there. Public beach about 12 min walk. Concierge and owner very amenable providing suggestions of trips and restaurants and transport. Also allowed me to stow my bag before check in and late check out to match my plans.

Nothing about the property. In terms of location this property is in Dominicus which is a 5 min ride away from Bayahibe. Buses are available up to 6pm. Dominicus is very quiet in the evenings and most people there are in all inclusive hotels.

Le cadre est magnifique.L'appartement très fonctionnel.nous avons passé 4 nuits.très proche du centre de dominicus,la plage publique à 15mns environ.

Rien c'est top

Stupende le piscine, l'appartamento è moderno e nuovo, trovavo sempre posto nei lettini. Vicino bar e supermarket. Comodo il late check out pagando un supplemento.

X cambio asciugamani avvertire almeno 2 gg prima e 1 volta a settimana, i teli mare invece non li cambiano e noi ci siamo stati 2 settimane, se si lavano non asciugano. L'acqua del bottiglione la prima volta è andata bene ma il secondo c ha fatto venire la dissenteria. Mare a 15 minuti a piedi.

Viel Platz, sehr sauber, ruhig, tolle Poollandschaft, Die Vermieterin unterstützt bei Informationsbedarf….

L'emplacement était parfait. Nous avons pu profiter de cette appartement très bien placé, les lits sont très confortables, les équipements au top et plusieurs piscine pour vraiment se mettre dans le mood de vacances

Confortable, hermoso entorno, buen acceso a la piscina. Excente atención de la anfitriona. Sin dudas volvería!

Apartment with A/C in the living room and both bedrooms. All utilities we could need at the property. Beautiful swimming pools right in front of the apartment, with beach towels provided by the property. The complex security and staff in general were very welcoming. Owner very nice, responsive and helpful.

Unfortunately we had ants issue in the apartment on a couple of days, but we have to say that as soon as we mentioned to the owner we had someone coming over immediately with special product to help keep them away.

This is a very clean and very comfortable apartment on a gorgeous new complex about a10-minute walk to the beach. The apartment had everything we needed for our stay and the owner was always available and helpful. She allowed us to check in early and check our late and helped us to organise a fun trip to Saona island. The complex itself is brand new and quite stunning. When we were there, there was still some construction work underway, which could, at times be a little noisy, but nothing that got in the way of our enjoyment of the place.

The only small things worth mentioning are that there are no sun umbrellas at the complex, which means that there is a bit of a fight for shade. Hopefully, as the palm trees grow, this will become less of an issue, but it did mean that we spent large parts of our relaxation moving about trying to avoid the direct heat of the sun. Also, as the complex becomes busier, sun loungers might become a little scarce. That said, there were enough for our stay abd we had a wonderful, relaxing time.

Everything was good , air conditioner, location

Location is not far from the beach. Security is exceptional. The pools are amazing. The host is super responsive.

The sofa can fit a young kid, not an adut.

This accommodation was our last one of our 3 weeks’ vacation in DR (first time in the country), and we stayed here for 4 nights. The accommodation was a great choice as a last stop before returning home, for relaxation and privacy. Our host Bersaida was very helpful also before our arrival in DR, she helped with many good advices of what places to visit and what to avoid. Her suggestions made our holiday fantastic. The accommodation exceeded our expectations, and we will definitely come back if we travel to DR again. The apartment is big and spacious, everything is new, fresh and very clean. There are 2 bedrooms with large very comfy beds, A/C, commode and wardrobe in each bedroom. One bedroom has separate bathroom and balcony, the second bathroom is just outside the other bedroom. Kitchen and dining room with big dining table, one extra sofa, smart TV with large range of channels, A/C. WiFi is excellent in dining area and on terrace, but in the bedrooms not the best connection. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking, a big refrigerator, freezer, microwave, and water. Wash machine, iron, hair dryer, very soft towels both for shower and for the pool area. Pool area and garden is maintained daily by staff,everything is very clean, grass is soft and plants are beautiful. Security 24/7, no possibility to enter the community for strangers. Parking available at entrance to the community and also under security. Also, during the trip, I got an injury, and Bersaida helped to contact different clinics to book a visit for me since we do not speak Spanish. Thank you very much Bersaida for all your help. Dominicus beach is about about 15-20 minutes walking distance, a few minutes by car. It is possible to park around beach area and beach is open for public even though it is surrounded by resorts. There are restaurants, cafes, shops, hairdressers close by. Also food delivery is available.
