The house is clean. And the staff is very helpful.

We loved our stay at Ahmed’s place! The apartment was clean, the WiFi was the best, fastest in the area, breakfast was delicious, and staff members were kind and helpful. Ahmed can arrange tuktuk rides and desert tours, the place is super convenient and at night it’s very quiet. Really great experience.
Needs a full length mirror for ladies to see our outfits 😹
The property is very clean and cozy.It has kitchen you can cook .The breakfast is amazing .The stuff and the owner is very helpful. We really enjoy our staying there. “中国人不骗中国人,这个住宿真的很好,强烈推荐”
房间很温馨,顶楼可看到古堡,早餐很好,跟老板报了一日游(盐湖→温泉→沙漠日落→吃烤鸡看星空),小哥很好,带我俩进深处找盐湖,总之体验感满满!
The homestay overall is good and clean. The owner is very helpful and nice! He offer us a very good prices to have a 4*4 journey in Sahara desert
The man was extremely nice 😊
It wasn’t clean In middle of city very noisy
Very nice clean rooms. Air conditioning was a lovely rest from the heat.

Location is right at the centre, it's convenient. The host is a good man. Overall it's great value for what you pay!
The great location that you can easy to have meals or cafe. Small room but clean and comfortable.
It will be better if the home has shower towels. I read the reviews before then preparing one.

Everything 😍 The place is in a good location, Ahmad is super friendly and helpful. I’d definitely come back!
Everything was great. The beds are very comfortable. The room and bathroom are very clean. The place has a kitchen that you can use and a water filter for drinking. So you don't have to buy water for drinking. The owner Ahmed helped us with everything. He organized a trip for us at a reasonable price. I recommend everyone to stay in this place
I had a wonderful stay here
Everything was great the location is close to everything. The price is very cheap. The owner Ahmed exceeded our expectations he helped us with everything we booked a bed but he gave me my own room thank you for everything
We had such a good time there. We had the whole Appartement on our own and the wifi and also the kitchen was really good. The view of the roof top was so stunning and the apartment was really close to everything. The stuff was so helpful and tried to fix any of our needs. We would definitely recommend it to everyone.
everything is good
The room and the whole place it is organised with traditional furniture, traditional style mixed with modern and comfortable facilities. I had the room all for myself. The beds are comfortable. There is hot water. There is a filter for drinkable water in the kitchen. The host Ahmed is very welcoming and ready to help around.
I was in winter and it got cold. I asked Ahmed, the host how can I warm up the place and he gave me a heater and it got ok.
The place is well located very close to the center of Siwa
There was no kitchen utensils
Near to the city center,
Something to bear in mind... In February 2024 my wife and I booked 3 nights at Quiet Home. We paid about $US 24 per night for a room with shared bathroom. We have been backpacking around Egypt for almost one month always staying in budget accommodation ($US 20-35 per night). We travelled to Siwa by public bus and arrived early in the evening. A motorcycle tuk-tuk driver (Abdullah) picked us up at the bus station and drove us the 900m to Quiet Home. Our initial impression was disheartening. Quiet Home is a recently built, somewhat characterless, concrete box structure put into service before work is finished. The front of the building is currently a terrible mess of building materials, waste and rubbish. The accommodation we were given was a room in a two-bedroom apartment which hadn’t been prepared for new guests. A pair of boots and a trouser belt littered the floor; the fridge hadn’t been cleaned; the washing machine contained a 10cm deep pool of dirty brown water; the bed sheets were not clean; a large pile of used bed sheets had been thrown into the bottom of a wardrobe; there weren’t enough blankets to keep us warm in February; there were no towels, soap or toilet paper and the floor, walls and surfaces of the entire apartment were dusty and dirty. The room didn’t just need a clean, it needed a deep clean. To add to our dismay, within minutes of our arrival all the lights in the apartment mysteriously went off. Abdullah eventually managed to find the circuit box and got the lights working again, but they kept failing every few minutes so we simply could not accept this accommodation. We phoned the owner (Ahmed) and he arrived about 25 minutes later. Having looked at the room he apologised and invited us to use a room in another hotel that he owns (called Nainshal Siwa) but said we would have to return to Quiet Home the following day (albeit not to the dirty room). Continued.
Unfortunately, this meant we would lose half a day (of our two day stay in Siwa) waiting to move back. The following lunchtime we were moved back to Quiet Home and the room we were given was clean, but (and we only discovered this after Ahmed had left) there was no soap and only three blankets for two single beds. It was mid-February and it was cold at night. We needed two blankets each. Ahmed doesn’t live in Quiet Home and nor do any of his employees (day or night). If something is missing or you need help there is no-one to go to in the building. You will have to phone Ahmed. He does desert tours and could be out of reach and/or many kilometres away when you phone. We couldn’t bear the thought of phoning Ahmed again to ask for another blanket, so my wife used two blankets and I slept in some of my clothes. Ahmed - When we spoke to you on the first evening, you apologised and repeatedly said you would do anything for us. May we respectfully suggest the following: Manage your bookings and personally inspect your properties so that future guests are not asked to use dirty, dysfunctional accommodation. Provide your cleaner with training or employ someone who knows how to clean. Re-arrange their cleaning schedules so that occupied apartments are not cleaned at 11.00 pm. If you resent providing towels, soap and toilet paper to guests then make that clear in your online information. Make sure there are sufficient blankets for beds in winter. Quiet Home represents the first and only time in Egypt we were offered unacceptable accommodation. I’m sorry, but we cannot recommend Quiet Home to others. (Two UK travellers)
It was unforgettable experience. Ahmed was very nice and kind. I recommend desert tour with him. The room was cozy and comfortable. The blanket was very thick and warm. You can cook in the kitchen. Not far from downtown. You can arrive in downtown by foot in 10 minutes. THX.
Nothing
Not much. We pre-paid four nights but stayed only two. The apartment was a nice size and the internet worked after a call to the manager.
We booked several weeks in advance and when we arrived, the apartment was a mess. The manager told us to go have lunch. He did suggest a nice restaurant around the corner. When we returned, the house was pretty clean but there were no towels or toilet paper, so he had to return. I intentionally booked a place with a kitchen so we could eat a few meals there. The kitchen was awful. No plates, five or six spoons, no forks, two odd sized bowls and no glasses. No microwave. No kettle. The property was also not “A Quiet Place,” dogs barked all night. It is also a fourth floor walk-up with no elevator.
location
bathroom is outside of room and not always have hot water
The room had everything we needed. Good AC, mosquitoes net, repelent plug in, dark at night and during the morning (something new in Egypt?) and nearby the main square (few blocks away). We loved Siwa, and Ahmed is a great host, he picked us up from the bus station and helped us with our laundry. Thanks for everything you did during our stay!
Nothing to complain
Ahmed picked me up at the bus station within 5 minutes of my arrival. He and his family run several inns in Siwa, so they will give you lodging options. The "Quiet Home" is comfortable and modern; plus, the clothes washer is a nice perk. The "Olive Garden" Inn is located in the heart of the oasis and is more rustic in style, having a swimming pool fed by fresh water spring. Then there is the very rustic/authentic Inn located at the foot of the Shail Fortress. I enjoyed a delicious breakfast there every morning, after which, Ahmed would drive me in his 3-wheel taxi to all of the interesting locations in the area . . .
Very good and clean.
Nothing
Confy bed, clean and great location. The host was so helpful and kind.
Good place and nice location. Ahmed was a great host. He helped me to arrange an amazing solo travel in Siwa since my friends could not join me in this location. He was very kind and accommodated all the places I wanted to visit in the time that worked for me. Recommended 100%
Very well located appartment near the fortress with a very kind host who picked us up from the station and helped us durinh our stay in Siwa
The apartment is big & bedrooms are big too. Near to town.
The apartment is not clean as follows: Entrance to the apartment is not proper. It looks like unfinished stairs. Bathroom- not cleaned. The dustbin in the toilet is full of used tissues. Toilet's bowl is very dirty & yellowish. Used soaps used by previous guests are left on soap rack. Old mop are left in the bathroom. Toiletries - non as prescribed in the facilities when booking No toilet papers Towels - only 2 small towels (not bath towel) given whereas I booked for 3 guest. When asked Ahmed, he took a hand towel from another apartment. These towels look like used towels cos they are hung in the bathroom. I felt itchy on my body after using it. Linen - 2 pillows are without pillow cover Although the apartment looks new but it is not maintained & clean before new guest check-in. Used old towels are left lying on the kitchen floor. It seem the building where the apartments are, is still not completed. A lot of building materials are left on the stairs going up the roof top. There is no proper check-in and I have to wait in my car for almost 10 minutes before Ahmed arrived with his car to show us the Quiet Home. Direction given was a restaurant When I ask Ahmad why there is no toiletries and dining table as mentioned, his answer to me was ' this is an apartment and not hotel'. I think this is very unbecoming of him to tell his guest. Although Ahmad is helpful but he really need to improve on the cleanliness and provide facilities as mentioned in the booking.
Owner, Ahmed, was helpful and friendly. Apartment looks like in the pictures. Safari tour organised by Ahmed was amazing. Didnt get to thank our driver Syaheed (not sure if that's spelt correctly) but he's the best driver in Siwa! Also, Ahmed acceded to our late check out request and went the extra mile to help acquire our bus tickets to Cairo!
Gets a little cold in the night during winter so wear extra layers or grab an extra blanket
Ahmed was attentive and resolved issues promptly. Less than 5 minute walk to the centre of Siwa. Basic accommodation; good value for money. We were met at the property and given the keys
Road noise was a little intrusive
it was so neat to the center the owner “ Ahmed “ was so helpful and friendly
nothing
clean spacious apartment, comfortable single beds with night stands, cute hand-made wicker furniture, hot water and electric kettle. hosts were attentive and quickly supplied solutions for our requests, as well as helpful information. nice views from the rooftop (but be careful up there!)
it’s actually not “quiet”, as road traffic from sunrise till midnight is loud. mosquitoes and flies were intense so we couldn’t sleep first night, after which but hosts supplied a plug-in repellent, which helped a lot. pretty cold at night despite using double blankets (in Jan). kitchen was missing a few basic things but they brought new items as soon as we asked 👍
Great apartment, fantastic location and host.
everything was excellent, a bit hard to find though
Clean flat and well location near the siwa market. The host is very nice and make everything for you to enjoy your days in Siwa (pick up at the bus station, organize trip to discover siwa, ...). I recommend it !
location was great, Ahmed was very nice and helpful, good value for money. he was awesome when my traveling companion lost his phone and we had to make maneuvers to get it back.
we weren’t as thrilled with the safari experience we booked through his brother.
The location is exactly in the city center. Local shops, restaurants, Shali Fortress are in the walking distance. The rooms, furniture, carpets make you feel local unique style. The owner and administrator were very responsive when we needed some of the amenities. The apartment has a balcony with beautiful view at the Shali Fortress.
A/C is only in the first bedroom, in the second bedroom and in the hall are fans. I came with family (4 pax) to visit Siwa in summer and that was impossible to sleep in the second bedroom because of heat.
