Reviewed Aug 29, 2026Lugn område i en bra del av staden. Promenadavstånd på 15-20 minuter till stora delar av stadskärnan och parker. Mycket nära till stor matbutik. Smidig kontakt med hyresvärden. Bra att privat parkering och städning ingick i priset. Bra mörkläggning med persienner och rullgardiner.
Vi hade problem med våra mobilladdare 100–240 V / 50–60 Hz. Även om stickkontakten gick igenom petskyddet så laddade enheterna inte alltid. Vi kunde bara använda vissa av uttagen. Kylskåpet förde oväsen liksom högt TV-ljud från grannar.

Reviewed Aug 24, 2026Sijainti oli hyvä. Asunto siisti ja kaikki tarvittava löytyi. Passasi oikein hyvin pariskunnan festariviikonlopun tukikohdaksi. Ouluhalliin alle kilometrin matka, kaupat, juna- ja linja-autoasemat ihan vieressä.
Meinattiin ensin tulla omalla autolla, kun mainostetaan ilmaista pysäköintiä. Mutta onneksi hieman selviteltiin ennakkoon, että tää pysäköintipaikkahan on 3h:n vieraspaikka, missä vielä kyltit "ei Airbnb pysäköintiä!" Onneksi julkiset kulkuyhteydet meni vierestä.

Huomaa, että parkkipaikalla nämä ruudut eivät mene numerojärjestyksessä. Lisäksi itsellä navigaattori ohjeisti aluksi viereisen talon pihaan.

Auton parkkeeraaminen piti olla ilmaista parkkipate kuitenkin kirjoitti parkkisakon. Tulisiko ohjeita selkeyttää ilmaisen parkkipaikan suhteen tai jokin lupalappu autoon parkkeeraamisen ajaksi.

Reviewed Jan 30, 2026Sijainti loistava autottoman hokimatkailijan kannalta, rautatieasema lähellä, samoin Raksilan jäähalli. Kaikki olennainen löytyi. Kävellen pääsi joka paikkaan. Vilkkaan kadun varrella, mutta eipä kuulunut liikenteen mekkala sisälle.
Talotekniikka, ilmeisesti ilmastointi, piti yöllä melkoista hurinaa välillä, mutta se oli jossain talon rakenteissa, ei siis säädettävissä huoneistossa. Huoneistossa yleisohjeet vain englanniksi, mutta onneksi kielitaito ja maalaisjärki riitti niiden ymmärtämiseen.

Huoneistossa oli epämiellyttävä pistävä ja tunkkainen haju. Yksi ilmastointi imu kanava ainoastataan vessassa eikä ollut tuloilma korvausilma venttiileitä missään. Keittiötasolla ei minkäänlaista flektiä. 1 makuuhuone olikin sama kuin olohuone, eli kyseessä yksiö.

Reviewed Aug 30, 2025The owner advertising free parking is simply dishonest because the parking places are the building guest places that have a big sign "No Airbnb parking". Anyway those were already taken on our arrival so we asked the owner who sent us to the other side guest places near the kiosk to park. In the morning when I went to the car to put the parking disc we had a parking ticket making this place the most expensive of our month trip over Europe. Think twice before you book this place if you have a car to park.

Die Wohnung ist im Erdgeschoss und die Fenster gehen direkt zum Parkplatz.

Hieman persoonaton ensimmäisen kerroksen huoneisto, ikävä pitää ikkunaa auki pihalle, ei psrveketta, huono tuulettaa kuumalla, paljon ohjeita melko jyrkästi muotoiltuna.

Only complaint is that one of the blinds in the kitchen window wouldn't go all the way down, leaving a peeping window into the bed

Reviewed Dec 7, 2024The room was neat and clean. It had everything we needed including clean towels, cooking materials, microwave oven, refrigerator to store our food, and even soft drinks that we could buy if needed. The instructions for check-in and check-out were easy to follow.
There were limited guest parking spaces and even the building's tenants were using them. Therefore, finding a parking space was difficult. Also, instructions on how to get help if locked out of the room could be added so that the guest can find help if something happens outside of office hours. The host can take care of these issues.

Reviewed Nov 15, 2024The instructions were excellent, and I was very happy to see that the property was so close to the bus station, that was absolutely lovely. The stores were close and there was a nice little café a short walk away for my morning latte. The bed was okay, and I had a good sleep.
The sofa was very uncomfortable, although presentable. The apartment was furnished for a shorter person, so I felt I was stooping all the time, a minor inconvenience but might be good to know. (I'm only 170cm tall) The apartment was a bit shabby, with paintings sticking out of the wall, a rusty pot, plastic plants and the dryer was on when I came in. There was only one pillow on the bed, and it was on the bed spread, so at first I thought there was no pillow for sleep. The covers were very thin for Finland, Oulu, in November. My main problem was the customer service, that was either automated or short enough to be rude, and then stopped completely, with no replies, so I had to contact Booking.com to get my problems solved after check-out.

We have stayed there 2 times during our holiday. At the beginning and at the end of our holiday. At the beginning (fist stay) I have asked if it is possible park anywhere. Answer was "only in guest places next to main entrance" I did everything according to instruction. There were no instruction like "only at night" or "during the day you have to pay" At the end of stay I got penalty 60 € for bad parking. Than owner was "totaly alibist" that is neccessary follow the signs. Some facts 1) parking had a lot of free places, but no one was booked for the appartment 2) I could not know if any agreement with city and owner for guests exists or not So If I would not had asked, I would be my mistake. But, I have asked, I got answer, but very imcomplete. Generally. If you are traveling through Finland, you have in such place first or last stop or both. In this case, normally you have car (from rental). And by this way your holiday will be more expensive than you awaited. The biggest problem is that owner is trying to make business with clients and "change positive evalution with future discount"
