Reviewed Aug 24, 2026Huoneisto oli siisti ja tilava. Avaimen sai avainkotelosta.
Huoneisto oli kylmä ja siksi kolkko. Lämmitystä ei saanut lisättyä yrityksistä huolimatta. Keskeytimme matkamme juuri kylmyyden johdosta. Ulkona oli huomattavasti lämpimämpi. Emme olleet varautuneet lämpimin vaattein, koska kotona vaatetus oli riittävä. Takka puineen odotti, mutta tikut olisi pitänyt hakea usean kilometrin päästä. Sohva oli kulunut ja sisustus vaatimaton ja väritön. Vertailukohteena oli Katinkulta, jossa usein vierailtu. Siellä myös panostettu ympäristöön. Se on kuitenkin liian kaukana lyhyttä matkaa varten. ( Onneksi yöksi oli lisäpeittoja kaapissa.)

Tyynyt pitäisi uusia. Kävimme ostamassa oma,jotta pystyimme nukkumaan ilman että niskat on täysin jumissa joka aiheutti migreenin.

Nous faisons partie de ces familles qui cuisinons beaucoup. Il nous a manqué de casserole, de poele, d'ustensiles en bois (pas en plastique svp)

Yritettiin saada takkaan monta kertaa tulta, mutta tais olla nuohoukset tekemättä ja kehnot tulitikutkin loppu kesken.

Reviewed Jan 5, 2026We stayed here for two nights in the middle of winter. Even with temperatures dropping to -20°C outside, the chalet remained incredibly warm and cozy inside. The fireplace is wonderful and adds a great atmosphere. The location is excellent, with the Imatran Kylpylä Spa just a short walk away. The hosts were very responsive to messages. A big plus for drivers: the parking area is equipped with outlets for engine heaters, which was a lifesaver in the cold.
There is a minor technical nuance regarding the heating system: the electric radiators automatically turn off while the sauna stove is actively heating up. As soon as the sauna heater switches off (or cycles down), the radiators turn back on. It didn't affect the overall temperature or our comfort, but it is something to be aware of.

Reviewed Dec 31, 2025The cottage is excellent with everything you may need. The fireplace is lovely to use in winter.
It is an unfortunate to tell, but the bed mattresses are very soft that caused us bad night sleeps. There was only one small pillow per bed, so elevating your head from the whole that the mattress makes was not possible. There was neither small night lamps in the bedrooms e.g. to read a book, so the only option is the big, bright ceiling light.
