Reviewed Jan 11, 2026Le chalet mitoyen est très bien situé, en plein centre-ville (vous pouvez tout faire à pieds) tout en étant au calme. L’appartement est confortable et très agréable. Il y a un parking pour garer la voiture (place numérotée). Le sauna est très appréciable en fin de journée et la cheminée (bois fourni) un vrai plus pour le soir. La chambre principale est très mansardée sans être gênant, le lit est bien. La deuxième chambre (en mezzanine) est ouverte sur le séjour et il faut y passer pour accéder à la chambre principale… Nous avons passé un très bon séjour.
Seuls bémols: les 2 lits de la mezzanine sont trop mous et l’escalier est extrêmement raide (inadapté aux très jeunes enfants ou seniors)

Reviewed Dec 16, 2025The cottage was super cosy, clean and well equipped with everything you need. We especially loved the fireplace and the sauna. The location is very central and within walking distance to restaurants, supermarket, pub, tour agencies etc.
The stairs are a bit steep, not a problem for us, but people with smaller kids or limited mobility should take this into consideration.

Reviewed Dec 12, 2025Die Unterkunft war sehr gemütlich und hatte eine super Lage! In der letzten Nacht konnten wir sogar die Polarlichter direkt über der Unterkunft sehen. Auch die Gastgeber waren super freundlich und wir konnten sogar etwas früher einchecken. Wirklich empfehlenswert! Hoffentlich können wir irgendwann wiederkommen.

Reviewed Sep 18, 2025Kaikki tarpeellinen oli käytettävissä ja käytin niitä: sauna, pyykinpesu, TV ja ruuatkin valmistin itse keittiössä. Toimiva, viihtyisä ja siisti huoneisto. Sijainti erinomainen. Sisustuksen värit rauhalliset ja modernit. Hyvät tyynyt sekä patja sopiva ei liian löysä, arvostan.
Sälekaihdin olisi ehkä kätevämpi olohuoneessa. Bideesuihku olisi myös hyvä lisä.

Reviewed Sep 14, 2025Viihtyisä ja toimiva loma-asunto keskeisellä sijainnilla. Retkeilyreiteille ja kauppaan, ravintoloihin lyhyt kävelymatka. Vuokranantajalta sai nopean vastauksen kysymykseen.
Parvelle johtavat portaat melko jyrkät.

Reviewed Aug 4, 2025Erittäin siisti ja näppärä kohde parhaalla sijainnilla Saariselällä: kaikki tarvittavat palvelut kävelymatkan päässä ja erityisesti retkeilyreittien lähtöpaikka ihanan lähellä. Asunnolta löytyi kaikki mitä voi tarvita vierailullasi ja sauna oli kirsikkana kakun päällä! Erityisplussa: kesähelteillä ilmalämpöpumppu oli pelastus!

Reviewed Feb 28, 2025The Lodge had everything we could ask for..the heating cabinet was a god send for drying all the wet gloves and snow boots etc after a day in the snow..we had a fantastic holiday ,our first in Sariselka and we would definitely return to this well equipped lodge due it's location in the village and everything included..

The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. The beds were super comfortable too. Great location too. Would 100% stay here again if we come back to Saariselka.

Reviewed Dec 23, 2023Cosy but enough room for family of 4. Plenty of kitchen equipment and large table to dine together. Lots of lovely soft furnishings. Great shoe dryer and sauna. Nice quiet beautiful lane.
Very soft mattresses. Difficult to find house as door numbers are small and not lit, and key took a while for us to work out how to unlock and lock door.

The host was very kind and allowed us an early check in and later check out due to our schedule which was very appreciated.

Reviewed Nov 17, 2022We had a great stay at Winter Nest. The cabin was clean, cozy, had a lot of space, the kitchen was well equipped, the sauna was great and easy to operate. We would book this place again if we ever returned to Saariselka.
We had trouble turning on the heat upstairs (in the bedroom)
