Zepher Apartment

Der Ausblick vom Wohnzimmer war grandios! Das Badezimmer war sehr sauber mit einer tollen Dusche.

Die Betten sind extrem durchgelegen, zudem roch es muffig, fast modrig im Schlafzimmer. Alle Oberflächen in Küche und Wohn-/Essbereich waren total klebrig, was sich aber eben auch nicht beheben ließ, warum auch immer. Direkt vor dem Haus ist eine zumindest tagsüber gut befahrene Straße, zu Fuß irgendwohin zu spazieren, war quasi nicht möglich.

Le cottage est confortable , même s'il est au bord de la route . La logeuse met plein de choses à disposition comme huile vinaigre lessive café...vraiment top ! Coucher de soleil depuis le salon.. inoubliable !! Endroit super bien situé ! On peut marcher jusqu aux cliffs of Moher lorsque le chemin est entièrement ouvert ! Le port de Doolin permet de prendre le bateau pour les îles d Aran. Nous sommes enchantés!

Zepher Apartment is geweldig. Het uitzicht is fantastisch. We hadden een geweldige zonsondergang, nog nooit zoiets moois gezien. De accommodatie is mooi ingericht, er ontbreekt niets. Heerlijk is de tuin aan de achterkant, maar je kunt ook aan de voorkant lekker zitten en genieten van het mooie uitzicht. De host verwelkomt je op een persoonlijke manier.

The space was clean and welcoming. Large windows give an incredible view of Doolin and surrounding ocean.

Das Zepher Apartment hat eine sehr schöne Lage mit tollem Ausblick auf das Meer. Die Gastgeberin Liz ist sehr nett und sie hat das Apartment liebevoll und gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Bett ist sehr bequem. Alles was man so benötigt, ist in diesem Apartment vorhanden. Wir haben uns wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Beautiful view overlooking the ocean. Great central location for exploring the area. All the amenities of a home available like all kitchen appliances and a washer and dryer.

Loved the big TV with Netflix :) The washer was great as well as all the kitchen utilities. I appreciated the paper towels and coffee/tea provided and milk. It’s a cozy home with a small fireplace, nice decor and loved the cozy blanket in the living room.

Pillows were quite flat. I also felt like I was a burden to the host with how she responded to my needs over WhatsApp. I had a couple problems throughout my stay and she never followed up on them. Her husband, however, was very nice and fixed everything swiftly!

The bed was amazing.. so comfy and really great duvet and pillows. The apartment is extremely well equipped and the view over the ocean is amazing. Highly recommend

Lovely cosy home

Everything about this apartment is fantastic! We stay here whenever we go to the west of Ireland for holiday. It’s always beautiful, clean and comfortable, has everything you need. Well equipped kitchen. And the location is beautiful.

It was incredibly dusty and I have dust allergies. I suffered constant sneezing and weeping eyes until we hoovered the floors. I immediately stopped sneezing. Other than that no complaints this place was great.

This location is the absolute best in and around Doolin because It is up the hill from Doolin (about 1 mile) and has a spectacular view of the Atlantic Ocean not afforded by most of the properties in Doolin. It is also close to the start of the Cliffs of Moher Walking Trail. Many other daytrips are convenient from here.

A lovely apartment, set on the side of the hill overlooking Doolin Bay. Busy road but no noise in apartment. Facilities were good, clean and modern. Bonus is free Netflix on a rainy day!

Nothing really about place itself but just don't bank on eating out in Doolin every night - limited options and a drive down the hill. No shops or supermarkets in Doolin or nearby - stock up before you arrive.

The location was ideal as a base for visiting The Burren. Breakfasting with views of the Aran Isles was a real treat.

The cutest, cleanest little crib. Location was brilliant. Close to cliffs of mohar, supermarket and pub. We were treated with perfect sunny weather. Loved staying here and will recommend to our fellow kiwis in Aorteroa, NZ.

The facilities were amazing. Liz is a very generous host. There was tea and coffee and biscuits and salt and pepper and milk in the pantry/fridge. The facilities TV were amazing it had Netflix. The fire was class! I really enjoyed using the fire place. The decor was beautiful and everything was very comfortable. The view of the sea is stunning.

My host Liz even pepared milk for the tea. Very thoughtful :)

The host was very kind and friendly, the location and the view were perfect. The house was very clean and in excellent condition and equipped with everything, pans, olive oil, coffee etc. definitely recommend!

Wow what a place! Perfectly located close to the Cliffs of Moher and we absolutely loved how close it was to the village of Doolin. The place had everything you needed and was decorated so cute!

We loved everything about Zepher Apartment. Location was the best! Minutes to Doolin, Cliffs, Caves and more! Hosts Liz and Liam provided great communication, service and assistance. The apartment was very clean and had everything needed and more. Definitely stay here again!

Beautiful spacious apartment - pictures don't do it justice! The host was lovely, helpful and responsive. Heating boosts were great! Netflix was nice to have during stormy nights. Taxis are difficult to get in area so you definitely would benefit from having a car handy throughout unless you don't mind walking a little further in the wind or rain. The views were serene and lots of amenities in apartment. Short drive down to Doolin pubs and cliffs! We used as a home base to visit surrounding castles and West Coast sights. Only an hour to Bunratty and couple hours from Galway. An amazing value for this place, highly recommend!

Lovely apartment with spectacular views. Handy for the Cliffs of Moher walk and everything else the Doolin area has to offer. Approx 30 min walk down the hill to Doolin village. Steep walk back up !

Brilliant location with amazing views. So close to everything. 30 walk to Doolin and the pier. Short drive to Lahinch and Cliffs of Moher. The apartment had everything you needed and the bed was very comfortable. Liz was so nice and helpful. Dog friendly is an added bonus.

We received really good information in advance and were warmly welcomed to the apartment. Everything was as advertised and just what we needed. The apartment is very comfortable and in a superb location - I'm sure the sunsets would have been amazing if the weather had been different!

Comfortable well equipped apartment in a great location. Lovely view of the ocean. We were able to walk from the apartment to start the Cliffs of Moher walk at the Doolin end and only 15 or 20 mins by car to reach other entrance points.

We had a wonderful stay, the apartment is really lovely, very comfortable, we have no complaints from location to facilities, the fire was a bonus and the goodies Liz left for us, our 2 little doggies loved it too, can't wait to go back.

Beautiful, well fitted and prepped apartment. There was milk in the fridge and the heating was on in preparation for our arrival. Simple instructions were available for the heating and Wi-Fi. There was a good television with streaming services available. Our hosts were also very quick to reply regarding a location query and drove to show us the way. We had a great experience.

All the place is super nice and with excellent views.

Stunning property with everything you need for a trip to Doolin. The views were stunning from the apartment. We stayed in winter when it was very cold outside, the heating system was very quick and a lovely stove in the living room. Very spacious and very clean. Communication with Liz was so easy and very helpful. There is a parking spot for a car which was amazing.

Gorgeous view from your bedroom and dining room window. A lovely modern flat screen TV if you just fancied chilling in the evenings. Doolin was a bit of a trek on foot (especially coming home up the hill) but 5 minutes drive. There are taxi contacts so my advice would be to book in advance! The apartment property itself was modern and spotless and filled with utensils and appliances (plus a nice pod coffee machine). The host and her husband were also really friendly and couldn't help you enough. And all for a great price despite booking so close to the bank holiday we stayed during. Would defo stay again and I highly recommend it for couples (and their dog!)

This was our second time at Zepher Apartment and it was as superb as we remembered. Very clean and comfortable and lots of nice extra touches, for example, reflective gear for walking at night, coffee and tea available and milk in the fridge on arrival. The hill from the town is steep but the reward is the spectacular view from the property. Liz is a very friendly host who ensures you enjoy your stay. Our doggie loves it too! So lovely that dogs are welcome. Can't wait to return.

Our main problem was we didn't want to leave! However, if I was to recommend anything, maybe an actual washing line as well as the drying rack, as this can get blown over in the wind. Not a big deal though!

It was the best value for money in the area. The host was very helpful and accommodating. Very spacious for two people. Literally no complaints and everything we expected to be there or done was taken care of. View from the bedroom were stunning.

As I said no complaints. Just some minor points of improvement for the host. If at all possible signpost Zepher apartment from the apartment next door as I accidentally approached the apartments from the wrong direction and ended up entering the wrong drive. Google Maps also indicates that you should enter the wrong drive so if that could be fixed somehow then do. Can't stress enough that I am splitting hairs though.

The neighbor's guest's dog is off-leash in the yard. Barking when entering and exiting the property. I contacted the owner but no response.

Wonderful view. Very good facilities. Easy to travel to areas of interest.

The location is perfect for access to Doolin (walking =15-20 minutes/driving=5 minutes) and all other areas in this part of County Clare including the Cliffs of Moher, walking trails, the Aran Islands and other small nearby cities like Ennis. The "local" road down to Doolin is directly across the street from the Zepher Apartment. It is downhill going into Doolin and uphill (steep) returning. The apartment has a gorgeous view of the North Atlantic seacoast because it is perched on the hill above Doolin and the Aran Island Ferry Dock. (That is 2km from Doolin itself). The apartment had absolutely everything we needed, i.e. microwave, refrigerator, TV (w/Netflix), breakfast area that offers a stunning view of the North Atlantic, a huge king size bed with a warm duvet, washer/dryer. We took a CityLink bus from Dublin airport to Galway where we picked up a rental car from Budget in Eyre Square (a 5 minute walk from the bus station). We then drove down to the Zepher Apartment. If you don't want/need to have a car, there is also a local bus---Bus Eirann---that leaves from the bus station and goes to the Cliffs of Moher that would drop you---on request---at the Doonagore Crossing---which is right in front of the apartment!! You can pre-book these buses on-line; just a heads up---Bus Eirann only takes cash IF you didn't pre-book. We pre-booked the CityLink from the airport and back so it wasn't an issue. We walked to the Cliffs of Moher from the Doolin Cliffs of Moher Walking Trail trailhead---then---decided to take the bus back---which was about 3 euro cash per person. Again---by request---the bus will drop you at the Doonagore Crossing---right in front of the Zepher. BTW---the trailhead is clearly marked about 3/4 of the way down the "local" road into Doolin from the Zepher. Again, very convenient. Liz is a great host! Contact was always quick and helpful.

I really can't think of one thing we didn't like about the Zepher Apartment.

Excellent Cleaniness, everything you need in the apartment was thought for, homely stay. Well equipped and managed apartment. Very near beaches, so quite good location. Very spacious and infact better than most hotel stays in neighbouring areas.

Very happy with the stay and good example of Irish welcome. I liked everything in the apartment, so nothing I can complaint off. Can't fault anything

This was the second time we have stayed here and already looking forward to returning again. apartment was very clean, very comfortable (my partner says it is the most comfortable bed she has ever slept in). location was perfect, we wanted somewhere private away from the lights of the town to enjoy the night sky but also within walking distance to the local pub. the walk might be too much for some but I actually enjoyed the walk, roughly 25min. the host kindly left high viz vests and a torch to help with this. our host Liz was very nice and made it clear she was available to contact if we needed anything. this wasn’t necessary as she had left all the information we could possibly need on hand. overall we had an amazing time and will be returning whenever the opportunity arises again.
