Reviewed Jul 28, 2025L’emplacement était parfait pour visiter les environs. L’appartement était très bien équipé et confortable pour 6 Adultes et 4 enfants. Les hôtes étaient très attentionnés et nous ont donnés pleins de bons conseils durant notre séjour.
Il n’y a rien que nous n’avons pas aimé. Peut-être que la terrasse pourrait être nettoyée.

Reviewed Jun 1, 2025Spacious accommodation with plenty of room, the friendliest hosts you could imagine, and the village is small enough that you feel right at home in just a few hours. The apartment has lots of interesting bits of history and arts and crafts throughout to give it a charming feel, and there is everything you need within walking distance. It is also a great place to base yourself for exploring Clare and Galway.
The Wi-Fi was a bit weak, but it worked well enough and mobile service in the area is perfectly satisfactory.

Reviewed Apr 27, 2025We wanted for nothing. Every comfort amenity was thought-out and provided. A large basket with a variety of foods and snacks was waiting for us. Our hosts were available and offered suggestions for local sights, dining and music! The beds were very comfortable. The lodging was spacious and comfortable. There is a lovely and spacious second-story patio. There were seven of us age 30-65, and we all loved the lodging and the town.
We liked everything.

Reviewed Jul 27, 2024The house location worked well for our family group. The host was responsive to our messages and gave timely guidance in terms of checking in. The kitchen was a good size and well stocked with practical items and the chairs in the lounge were comfortable. It was great to have two shower rooms. The town has several restaurants, pubs and coffee shops all in walking distance. Thank you too for the welcome basket!

Incredibly cozy accommodation and you felt very welcome, both the reception, atmosphere in the accommodation and all the cute little instruction notes so that you would understand how things worked! Absolutely 10 🌟. Clean, tidy and well equipped. Nice and good treatment and cozy dog! Nice beds. High cozy factor!! Ten stars for Johnston's. Especially the kitchen, the patio and the bathrooms were nice.

Reviewed Aug 2, 2022The apartment was very nice and had all the amenities you need. The balcony was a lovely place to relax and take in the view. The owners are especially welcoming. Even providing some toys for my younger children to play with which kept them happy while in the apartment.
Couldn't lock front door from the inside (children could just walk out of apartment) although it was locked from outside.
