Reviewed Jun 27, 2026There were 4 of use taking 2 days out to relax. Drove 2 hours to get there and we found the property without a bother. We were surprised that the place was near all the facilities and also not too far from the coast where we visited several beaches. The town of Dungloe was lovely and the people very friendly ready to enter into conversation with you and it was all very friendly and lovely. We will go back again as soon as possible and ask to stay at Atlantic View
I can think of nothing that would have improved our stay. On the last night there was a massive thunderstorm which was very exciting but I don’t suppose thus can be provided or requested but we loved it

The name Atlantic View is a bit of a misnomer in spring. The sea would only be really visible when the leaves are off the trees in winter.

Reviewed May 4, 2026Everything was super clean and easy to access, the host, Maria, has gone above and beyond by accepting to post an item we forgot at the apartment. Additionally, Maria had left for milk and orange juice in the fridge, it was a very kind touch! The apartment is located right in the middle of the main street with everything accessible. Maria had prepared a book with different activities and things to do in the area, which was lovely!

Reviewed Jun 19, 2024The signage on the door of the apartment is very tasteful, but low-lit and therefore, was a bit difficult to read. At first pass, we totally missed seeing the door. However, with the help of a nearby shop owner (found the correct entrance and introduced us to a neighbor), we were soon inside. Our host, Maria, also arrived in quick time to help sort our confusion over the wifi modem, so we were able to meet her and enjoy a short chat. I mention these things not as criticism, but as a testament to the beauty of a small town and it's people. We had a very pleasant stay and loved the Main Street location for getting about on foot. Very nice shops, pubs, and restaurants are up and down the street; and the Dungloe pier is about a ten-minute walk away.

Reviewed May 1, 2023Excellent location and wonderful well equipped apartment. I will return to this apartment for another weekend hopefully soon. Clearly host cares about people having a good time.
The shower regulator was slightly difficult. Either too hot or too cold. I have a shower like this at home also. It would be an idea for the host make wifi password more accessible. It is on the back of the modem but took me until the 2nd day to work out the password fro the back of a very very small font on the modem. Not a criticism but more about making life easier for others.
