Beautiful accomodation. Host was amazing. Very knowledgable and helpful
Nothing
Very welcoming and accommodating host, rooms were all spotless and had all the essentials. Susan was very helpful with any questions we had about the area. Would definitely recommend
Geweldige locatie, midden in "the Burren".
Perfekte Lage. Super freundliche und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter.
The place we chose without doing any research beforehand exceeded our expectations, and we were able to relax and enjoy ourselves. It was clear that the owner had paid attention to every detail. With two rooms, two bathrooms, and a living/kitchen area, we were able to relax comfortably. Composting, recycling, and waste sorting are good practices. There are no shops nearby, so you need a car. We liked that there was a courtyard, and it felt safe even with the windows open. Ruins and beaches are conveniently located nearby.
Since it's an old two-story building, you can hear the floor creaking when guests move around upstairs. It's purely a matter of luck who's staying upstairs. There are no screens on the windows, so insects get in. The courtyard lights were on all night and were dazzling. We wonder if it's for security reasons. Having carpeted floors in the bedroom we were not happy about it. There should be a bare minimum of salt, sugar, and pepper. Having a slightly smaller frying pan would be practical. If there was a paid laundry facility at the site it would be perfect.
Burren Court is located just perfectly for exploring the area. Susan provide us with an excelent update on informations on what to see, which pub have a live music, where to shop and where to eat. So we made a most of our stay! Thank you very much!
Clean, well-equipped and good location for touring the Burren. Good communication in booking and managing.
Very nicely located lodge. Near to all Burren related touristic sites. Very comfortable and nice apartments.
Location, garden, spacious and clean appartments, local mananger and her advice
No complaints
Burren Court Lodge is about 8km from the village of Ballyvaughn. The location is convenient to various attractions and other towns and villages. There is also a free shuttle bus service from various points, which is a great environmentally friendly way to see the Burren. Burren Court itself is a series of small apartments around a lovely courtyard with picnic benches. The unit I stayed in was comfortable. The towels and sheets were clean and crisp, and there were ample dishes, glasses, and other kitchen utensils so you could cook for yourself if you wished. The bed was comfortable also it took up kost of the space in the bedroom, so there wasn't a lot of room to maneauver. Susan, the manager, was lovely. She warmly welcomed me and provided loads of information about the local area, including restaurants recommendations. She gave me a lift into town on my first night and made herself available via WhatsApp for any questions or issue. This was a lovely spot to stay, quietly surrounded by nature in the heart of the Burren.
The shower had some mildew and the rug in the living area needed to be cleaned. I also noticed some popcorn under the couch, which I didn't have. So it felt that housekeeping might have been more cursory than detailed.
Sehr ruhig.
Amazing location and lovely little courtyard arrangement - so pretty. Good facilities in the kitchen - all you would need. Lovely shower and plenty of hot water. Heating was easy to adjust.
Furniture could have been a little more comfortable and also the bed. Bedroom was very basic and needs a mirror and larger bedside table.
Very central for most sights around the Burren. Very quiet.
Nothing.

Very friendly and helpful staff, beautiful location, nice and clean cottages.
Susan the owner was so helpful and considerate to my parents and went out of her way to make them feel settled. She helped them with luggage when they arrived late and was so thoughtful during the stay and recommended loads of great things to do and see. I felt they were in great hands as I was 10 mins away in a separate BB. The beds were beautifully made and very comfortable I heard. Kitchen was well equipped.
It’s a lovely place to stay and you have a secluded space your own space and the flexibility to cook breakfast at your own time.
Wonderful host and a wonderful isolated, quiet property. Centrally located in such a way that all the sites are easily reachable. Corkscrew hill is wonderful. The stay was really comfy. Will definitely come back again.
Greeted on arrival by the host, who was very friendly
Great place to stay. The apartment was cosy, clean, comfortable and surrounded by a beautiful garden. The host, Susan was simply amazing! She was so welcoming and helpful providing us good recommendations on restaurants and places to visit.
Tres bon accueil.
We arrived a little early and Susan was able to accommodate us. Susan was extremely helpful and just an all around lovely person to talk with. She sent us a lot of great things to do and told us where to go to get things. Many things to do within 30 minutes of property which was amazing. Food from restaurants / stores was close by as well.

A pleasant place for a family or group. Two rooms, two separate bathrooms, kitchen and living room. Kitchen equipped with everything you need. Beds comfortable. Clean. Quiet. Lots of attractions to visit in the area.
Cold in the evening in the rooms.
Very tidy and clean , beautiful scenery really picturesque and relaxing
Every thing about our property was fabulous maybe just a note that you would need to be driving it is remote but we liked this aspect
everything ) and lovely Susan who treated us as relatives and friends
The house was confortable clean and beautiful we had a lovely and relaxing stay. Susan is so kind and helpful.

Our host Susan was the best !!!! We had a late check in. She helped us get all settled in. Susan gave us ideas on where to go and ways to save money, exceptional beautiful apartment I would definitely come here again. Me and my children had the best time.
Beautiful property in the Burren. Wonderful host! Susan helped us when we needed to fix a flat tire and gave us great recommendations for restaurants. Thank you!
Everything. Wonderful place to be, quiet, comfortable and close to all the wonderful local attractions: the Cliffs, Doolin, Lisdoonvarna, Ballyvaugn. Beautiful cows. Best of all, Susan, our hostess couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. I could live there!
Be sure you have a car. It's 8 kilometers to town.
It was well set out , had everything we could possibly want, and it was spotlessly clean.
It was perfect
Beautiful location
Very professional and friendly staff
the peace and quiet of the location. Host was very helpful also
We presumed there would have been a TV but we managed fine without it
Great hospitality, excellent apartment, free parking, convenient location.
Very spacious perfect for families
Nothing couldn’t fault it.
I absolutely loved everything about this property! It was spotlessly clean, cozy, and exactly as described
"The location was perfect — close to everything we wanted to see and do

Extremely helpful and accommodating host. Very nice and peaceful area. Great wifi. Very well equipped apartments.
Very nice and quiet; adequately modern furnishings; basic kitchen
Some weird lapses: missing toilet cover; no blind at one of the windows reducing privacy. Also, if you are the kind of person who is annoyed by a full page of recycling instructions and exhortations to take short showers and unplug charging cables when not in use - you have been warned!
The host suzan was excellent, she couldn't do enough for you. Only stayed a night, hope to get back sometime soon.
Nothing
The apartment was very clean and well stocked, clean towels & hot water. Unfortunately, it was in the middle of nowhere, no taxis as it was too far away from the 3 villages the host said were near by. Susan suggested we drink Guiness Zero and drive. very disappointed, the location is not ideal.

The friendly atmosphere
Our accommodation was very comfortable. Susan met us on arrival. She was so friendly and welcoming, a very nice person, couldn't have been more helpful. The location of the holiday homes is perfect, very peaceful, quiet and centrally located. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it.
Hospitality, location.
Currently no dogs allowed but Susan is trying to facilitate this in the future. If so we will certainly be back with our dog!
We loved our stay in this apartman. Everything was nice and comfortable, and Susan, the host went the extra mile for us to give information about everything. I'll be back if I can.
A perfect location for a quiet and relaxing stay. Comfortable apartment well equipped with plenty of hot water. We stayed just two nights but would happily have stayed longer. Susan was on site to greet us and was extremely thoughtful. Love the sustainable eco friendly approach.
A few more sockets for charging electrical equipment would have been good but not a big issue.
The premises are self-catering so we ate out a few times but also cooked and ate breakfast in the apartment. We found all the necessary equipment for cooking.
It wasn't a problem for us but I think it would be appropriate to tell guests that the apartment is only accessible by means of a steep staircase.
We're so happy we decided to book here and loved everything about our stay at Burren Court - our 2 bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms was really homely, modern and quiet. The location was simply wonderful and it was such a lovely peaceful place to return to after a day out exploring the stunning local area. All of the main places of interest in the Burren are just a short drive away. Susan the owner made us feel extremely welcome and we really appreciated her tips and knowledge of the local area. We felt so relaxed here and just wish we could have stayed longer.
Very nice host - Susan could give us a lot of local information. Also, we liked the location, we could enjoy the Burren, the Wild Atlantic Way, and the Cliffs of Moher (walking from Doolin).
Local shops are small and limited goods.
Great location to explore the Burren area. We truly enjoyed our stay.
The Burren is a magical place, geologically so interesting and the flora and fauna exceptional and so.carefully managed by the farmers. We also ordered sunshine and a wonderful sunset. With good friends ,good food and a quiet comfortable bed what else could we ask for ?
Only staying 2 nights . 6
The location is between Ballyvaughan and Lisdoonvarna and is convenient to all tourist amenities, though rural. Its very quiet at night. The kitchen is very well stocked with equipment, probably the best I've seen anywhere. Nice small sitting room and tv too.
I like to see good recycing facilities when staying in accommodation and while there was a bag for dry recyclables, there is nothing for fruit/veg peelings/teabags. A small kitchen caddy would be great, as the premises is otherwise sustainable (no mow rule etc).
It was a break away we needed so it was perfect the apartment was roomy and comfortable
The only negative It was way too far from everything the nearest anything ie shops pubs restaurants etc were about 15 km away, I took the advice to stock up but I forgot one or 2 things.
Lovely lady running the business, made us feel extremely welcome
Susan was still at the property when we arrived, so she showed us in and acquainted us with the property. She also gave us recommendations for where to eat in town, and even helped us get a cab to town! She was super helpful and friendly! Because the property is not in a town, it was so quiet, so peaceful.
Everything was great.
My wife and I spent 3+ weeks in Ireland and Burren Court Holiday Homes was our favorite stay. If you have the chance to stay there, I wouldn’t hesitate making a reservation. The place is beautiful inside … very clean and well designed with a great kitchen, living area, and bedroom/bathroom areas that are accessed through private/individual hallway doors. The center courtyard is well-landscaped and great for gathering with other homes in the complex. It’s situated in the Wild Atlantic Way area, quite close to some small towns (like Doolin), the Cliffs of Moher, the Dingle Peninsula, the ferry to the Aran islands, and southern Galway area. Our trip was side-tracked with me needing to go to the Galway hospital. Susan is the owner and she went way out of her way to help us. She was fine with us spending an extra night (at no expense) and, unbeknownst to us, stopped at a local grocery store to get some things for me. She also stayed in touch with my wife as we transitioned to our stay in Galway. If you want to stay at a tremendous place, with an angel named Susan, this is the place.
There was nothing we disliked.
The properties are in a beautiful, quiet location, and have everything you need for your stay, including a well equipped kitchen and a bottle of wine to welcome you! The hostess was very welcoming and accommodating, showing us how to warm up the rooms when the weather turned cold.
Nothing - everything was prefect.
A delightful self-catering apartment in quiet countryside, near to splendid views, on a side lane with next to no traffic. It helps to bring along an Ordnance map that shows the byways, if you wish to visit the historic sights with minimal driving. Our hostess was charming and most helpful, and even brought in free meals for one evening, charging very reasonably on another. The flat was beautifully equipped with everything one could need, with a generous range of starter items in the kitchen. Arrival information was helpfully sent well in advance, with supermarkets etc. listed in the surrounding towns. Our distinguished 92-year uncle said he had never had a better holiday.
The side turning lies just off the top of Corkscrew Hill, and despite all help offered, the correct main road was somewhat hard to locate, since it is not shown on every map. (In fact it is part of the main road south.)
