A great place to “disconnect” while still in the center of everything. The hosts were exceptional- kind and welcoming. A special touch of fresh baked bread, and a milk jug in the fridge immediately makes you feel at home. I took the room as a solo retreat from the bustle of summer vacation at home. It was perfect for me- very clean; aesthetically pleasing, calm environment, and a ten minute commute to work. I recommend it to locals and foreigners alike. The standards are international, it’s not pretentious, and the amenities are practical and well thought out. The cleanliness was obvious.

There are stairs leading down to the house, so not suitable for guests with disabilities. The shower/toilet is quite small. The bedroom doubles as the main house bomb shelter, so that your privacy is determined by circumstances. In addition, the ac flows into the bedroom through an open vent.?The unit is quite small, and being attached to the main house, you feel the need to keep quiet- especially if sitting in the garden at night if entertaining friends. When removing sheets ah the end of my stay (I believe it’s common courtesy to pile the laundry of towels and sheets when there is no maid service)- I noticed the pillows (not very comfortable) were deeply stained with age and use. They should be replaced. These limitations did not detrimentally affect my stay. There is an energy of peace and hospitality that compensate these minor shortcomings.

You have to go down 10 steps so it is slightly below ground. Has windows up high in living area no windows in bedroom so not great for those who have difficulty with stairs or need a window in the bedroom. Not a problem for us.

Great apartment. Lovely owners, who sent a very useful video of how to access the keys. Perfect location for us to visit family.

We weren't there long enough to use the bikes.

It was comfortable, clean, and cozy. The owners was very hospitable and they are readily available whenever I had trouble with something. I would like to thank them for opening their home for first time solo traveller like me.

Everything was perfect!

We found that the accommodation was very comfortable. One of the things that we enjoyed the most was the homey and relaxing vibe of the apartment. In total, it exceeded our expectations and we would definitely recommend it to more people.

We enjoyed everything in the apartment except for the lack of exhaust fan for cooking. But besides that, we don't really have that much of complaints as we were satisfied with our stay.

The garden area was my favorite place to spend time and read or drink coffee.

The bedroom didn't have windows and was in the basement. The mattress was very uncomfortable.

Felt like home, Nira and Chagai lovely friendly people. Fresh warm home made bread waited for us on arrival in the apartment together with tasty home made cookies, such a nice thought, and also have been given milk coffee, tea and sugar, in addition cold beverages in the fridge. Nira gave us precise and easy check-in instructions and the free private parking was definitely a plus. Apartment and kitchen fully equipped with everything even down to eye makeup remover in the bathroom. Very modern and boost shower with loads of hot water. Altogether a very welcoming stay. Just one slight hitch, which wasn't the end of the world as we had data on our mobiles, but wasn't good reception, the wifi wasn't working, but I'm sure Nira and Chagai will sort that out as they did try to fix it while we were there and were most apologetic about it. Overall a really great stay, fab garden in a quiet neighbourhood. Mini Market and a couple of shops round the corner which was also a plus. Look forward to using the apartment again in the future.😊

Not much natural light with very small windows which is acceptable as it's a basement flat, and wasn't an issue for us as we only used the flat to sleep. I actually liked the fact that it wasn't light especially in the morning we were able to sleep in without the sun waking us up🌞 so that too was a bonus 🌝
