Reviewed Aug 12, 202615min zu Fuss bis zum Lido Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus Einfacher Check in / Check out Gratis Kaffee Gute Einrichtung Kinderfreundlich, es wurde sogar ein Kinderbett aufgebaut und hatte viele Spielsachen Klima Anlage vorhanden, Raum war bereits angenehm gekühlt

Reviewed Aug 8, 2026Wanda is an amazing host, welcomed us personally, gave us the keys and showed us the apartment. The apartment is very comfortable, clean, very new including all the amenities required to make your stay truly enjoyable. There is a parking available, but in any case the promenade in Ascona is just ca.15 minutes walk away. I can only recommend the apartment for a comfortable stay.

Reviewed Jun 17, 2026We traveled as a family with 3year olds. It’s located in a calm residential area. Very family friendly and also only 15min walk away from lido! The host is a very open, supportive and very kind person and she made sure that our stay was comfortable for the whole time. I’d definitely go back to the place:)

Sehr nette Besitzerin, schnelle, einfache Komunikation. Trotz Fehler seitens Booking.com hat Sie eine tolle Übernachtung für uns alle ermöglicht. Herzlichen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft!

Reviewed May 9, 2026The apartment is clean and it has big parking space. Quiet and peaceful. Wanda is a friendly host but unfortunately we did not get to see each other.
My husband and i couldn’t sleep well as the pillow is too flat and the bed is a not firm enough. It’s very subjective to individual preferences.

Reviewed May 3, 2026El apartamento está equipado con todo lo necesario. Tiene de todo! Esta cuidado al detalle. Wanda nos atendió genial y nos dio Tips para visitar Ascona. Nuestro hijo de dos años se sintió como en casa, había un montón de juguetes para jugar. La cocina es nueva y tiene de todo. Tiene buena conexión con el centro de Ascona. Las camas son muy cómodas. Incluso un día que estábamos muy cansados pusimos la tele y vimos una película de Netflix. Nuestro perro pagó una tasa de 20 chf por toda la estancia. Hay aparcamiento dentro de las instalaciones. Fue maravilloso y repetiremos!

Hot water will run out at some point and you will have to wait for it to fill up again. It's plenty for one or two regular showers in a row however.

Reviewed Apr 24, 2026Die Wohnung ist top eingerichtet, es ist alles vorhanden, was man/frau sich wünschen kann. Die Lager der Wohnung ist zentral und doch sehr ruhig. Man erreicht die Promenade von Ascona und den Piazza Grande in Locarno in 20 bis 30 Minuten zu Fuss. Auch die Maggia ist in 15 Minuten zu Fuss zu erreichen. Ab der Wohnung hat es auch viele Gassirunden für die Hunde. Die Vermieterin ist sehr unkompliziert, herzlich und aufmerksam.
Die Wohnung verfügt nur über einen ganz kleinen Sitzplatz (was im Inserat aber auch erwähnt ist), welcher nur am Abend ganz kurz besonnt ist. Eine kleine Lounge unter den Palmen wäre ganz cool.

Reviewed Apr 9, 2026L’établissement est très bien situé et très bien équipé ! Environnement calme et proche de tout ! Nous sommes allés en famille (2 adultes et 2 enfants et 1 bébé). Le logement est moderne et adapté aux familles. L’hôtesse est également très accueillante et de très bons conseils !

Reviewed Nov 13, 2025Einfach alles perfekt, die Wohnung war sehr schön und bietet alles was man braucht. Wanda die Gastgeberin war sehr, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit bei allen Fragen. Sehr ruhig gelegen, ca 15 Min zur Piazza Es hat zwei Bäcker in der nähe Jederzeit gerne wieder!!

Reviewed Jun 23, 2025Wanda was a very nice host. Very easy to contact. Responded quickly when we send a message. We were participating Swissman Extreme Triathlon. And for us as a team it was a perfect place to stay. Not cheap but worth the money. It was calm, 1km to the T1 and registration, excellent airco and it was super clean. If I would ever race Swissman again I would book the place without any hesitation.

We arrived late and did not have time to shop for food, so she gave our kids some of her cereal bars :) The property is located in a residential area, across the street from a park. It is very calm. You will need to drive (or public transit) to Locarno, but is close to the centre of Ascona and there are groceries a short drive away and easy access to other routes. The apartment was very clean and everything looks new. Our family of five was very comfortable there. We recommend!

Reviewed Aug 3, 2023Absolutely perfect for a family with young kids! Perfect set up and lots of fun toys for the kids! Apartment was super clean and sparking and had everything you need for a few days!
Location is about 15-20 min walk and with young kids best to bring a scooter or use the car to go to the ascona center. We never had issues finding parking.
