It’s very peaceful and safe

WiFi doesn’t work, signal for DStv is bad

The location was perfect. The view exceptional. But the flat itself has many downfalls.

1. The bathroom - It does not have a decent shower. It has a hand-held makeshift shower, and you cannot reach the taps before you get into the tub. 2. The toilet that is next to the tub - the space is so small that you cannot even wipe your bud when you have a number two. 3. There are no basic utensils in the kitchen that is help full. 4. All the knives are so blunt you can not even cut a piece of meat with them 5. There is a jug in the kitchen 6. No whisk- there is an egg beater, but that is of no use. 7. There is no spatula, only steel utensils. 8. The bed - the mattress is totally shot. 9. There are no additional blankets should it get cold. We had to buy an additional blanket for the two nights that it was so very cold. 10. Please note that your cleaners use an excessive amount of Handy Andy and just leave it on the cutting boards that are in the kitchen. I scrubbed the cutting board that is green and white with a potscourer to get it clean. I gave up after the third time, then went and bought myself one that I can use and that will not give me food poisoning. 11. The cutlery and crockery had to be washed before use - They were not clean and full of marks of old food. 12. The coffee mugs are too small. 13. The barstool broke under me just as I went to sit. I did phone the agency. They must test the other bar stools as I did not dare sit on any of them.

The bathroom, the toilet is squeezed into the wall the shower facilities not working correctly very low standards. the front door the security gate looked as though they had encounted a STD, the kitchen - broken air vent filth on the top of the fridge, glasses all various types no one managers this unit. The satellite dish rust marks down the wall, not cleaned or sorted out. Way below standards will not return to 502 Boulders and if Ballito Agencies recommend them then will not use them and will inform every person that we talk too.

Location was good and it had good amenities, also the Ballito Accommodation people were very friendly.

The twin bedroom is very dark. There is no air conditioning. There was no electricity for half a day (not a fault of the property), remote stopped working so we couldn’t get out of the complex until we got assistance (very early - which was good) next morning.

The view was stunning. The couch and bed were comfortable.

The space at the toilet was very limited.

The view was brilliant.

Location is excellent. Apartment was clean, neat and has a fantastic view of the sea. Walk out from building onto the beach. The swimming pool and braai areas were great.

Arrived during weekend and remote was not working properly and could not get hold of anyone to help over the weekend. We were stuck a few times waiting for another resident to help open the gates.

The toilet was very small and the shower very small and low. The balcony railing was rusted and unsafe, It had a warning to say not to lean agents the railing

We like the stunning sea view. The semi heated pool were a bonus. Rooms were Spacious and clean.

Unit needs a bit of upgrading.

The bathroom is in desperate need of updating. It is too small and very outdated. The kitchen is very outdated. Pots and pans need to be updated.

The place is very well located with an exceptional view. The cleanliness was also great and the place was comfy with nice couches in the lounge that made relaxing nice with a view.

The main bedroom bathroom light was not working.

The balcony with the excellent sea view and closeness to the beach. We loved the couch in the living room and the bed was very comfy. We also enjoyed the swimming pool in the complex.

There was hidden cost (breakage fee) that was only communicated after the booking was made. The unit needs TLC (security gate and front door; cupboards, outside of the fridge)

Everything was perfect.

I can’t complain

The location is superb. The apartment is very basic but includes everything you need to get by. There was sufficient hot water, and the water pressure was good. The bed is small, but comfortable. The view is magnificent.

The apartment is dated and in need of some upgrading. I found that some of the dishes taken out of drawers or cupboards were dirty. The place was reasonably clean.

Unit was advertised as housekeeping included, but only to find out there are two different staff at different times, the one takes the trash, the other makes the bed. No one washes the dishes. There was two basic towels on arrival and one was smelling like it didn't dry properly. When we requested new towels after three days, the staff said there isn't. The unit doesn't come with laundry machines either, so we had to take it to a laundromat.

The close proximity to the beach

The unit was very poorly maintained. Rusted doors, gates, fans, kitchen appliances. Balcony door didn't lock. Blanket provided smelt terrible and the bedroom cupboards looks as if rats had eaten the insides. The blanket was covered in wood chips. Lights not working on the balcony. Ballito agencies response to our google review was very dissapointing. They did not attend to issues in a professional manner. Instead took to Google to argue with our review and said they found everything "strange" but I noticed that is their standard response to a lot of other issues previously reported with this unit or their service. Very disgusted with the entire experience.

Only one remote so was difficult to co ordinate a group of adults. The cleaning staff weren’t too friendly even though we were neat, made our own beds. When I asked them if they could please wash the dishes after I noticed that first day they didn’t even though we had stacked them nearly at the sink and they didn’t wash them, so I double checked on the booking app and saw that the staff should clean dishes as long as they weren’t in the apartment for more than 1 hour. The caretaker lady that manages the building always looked stern and we somehow always happened to come across their morning meeting which always appeared to be told off and not giving off team spirit vibes amongst the crew. The apartment could be absolutely fantastic with a fresh more modern look. Decor very outdated. Shower head is super big with great pressure but because th shower is so small the water was overpowering and couldn’t escape from the downpour.

The cleaners do not wash dishes and hardly sweep or clean the veranda glass, thus poor visibility. Fan with lights not working properly in kids bedroom. Cupboards can't close in either kids bedrooms. TV not working in bedroom. Safe with no keys.

Tv in the lounge was not working

It's nearer to the beach and the owner thought of all the kitchen utensils and electronics and when you have a problem they are very quick to sort it out thank you for that and I really loved the braai area and the pool

we really love our stay at boulders and have stayed there quite often. 106 had everything we need, great kitchen accessories/utensils - has an airfryer, snackwich machine. loved the pool which was always clean. loved the balcony we saw dolphins everyday from there. The proximity to the beach and promenade is also a huge win!

We only got the cleaner in after 8 days, we were leaving on the 9th day, the drain was very blocked so it was a massive flood in our bathroom. the floor tiles were extremely slippery especially when wet/oil spilt and with a toddler was very dangerous. For comfort rating- the fan in the second bedroom wasnt really working well- no high or low. and the office blinds in bedroom and lounge doesnt create a comfortable sleeping/relaxing atmosphere. otherwise was the perfect stay.

The bathroom is not great. The toilet is cramped between the wall and the bath. The shower in the bath has low pressure and is difficult to get the temperature right. The wifi did not work on two separate occasions for about 4 hours each time

I bathroom waterpresure was very poor and slow, hot water tap need to be fixed. Wifi was not that strong but I used my own wifi.

Stunning beach views from the property balcony.

Miamtence of alluminium balcony door and windows from the lounge and a main bedroom that are breaking or need fixing.

Sea view.

View is great but when you sit on the balcony you are in full view of people at the large barbecue facility and the swimming pool - so not private. Flat is rundown, 1.cupboards need a paint inside and out 2. Carpets in base of cupboards are unsightly. 3. Wooden cupboards in kitchen need to be sanded down inside and out and revarnished. 4.No door stops supplied in very windy unit. 5.Globes were broken or not working or very dim. Had to replace 5. 6.Distribution board inside kitchen cupboard is rusted and might be safe but does not look it. On a general note 1.No WiFi, why have satellite TV and no Wifi. 2.No power back up, which in South Africa has become a necessity.

Several maintenance items need attention in this unit and the top floor hall way and building No generator for the lifts during load-shedding for this 5th floor unit Parking is very small for bigger car Strange system with cleaners, one person shows up just to make the bed, then the actual cleaner arrives for the rest, not very convenient for the guest to have multiple people coming and going Small space between bath and toilet, a bigger person will need to move in sideways

Too short stay

The booking process and Key collection with Candice of Ballito Accommodation was great. Everything was explained in an email, in detail. The location was perfect. We could hear the waves at all times. The units Wi-Fi was really good. Overall a clean unit. It had all the necessary appliances. Bed was comfortable, sheets were clean.

The unit was dated, and is in need of a paint touch up. The bathroom was quiet small and dark, however, it was sufficient. Our major upset was that the unit next door was extremely loud and "partied" the whole night, both the Friday night and Saturday nights.

Location was amazing!

Bathroom is a bit old. No aircon in the room and the cutlery/crockery/plates etc is old, chipped and mismatched.

The view is beautiful, and the apartment's location is great and central. The apartment is very spacious with a separate bedroom, lounge, dining, bathroom, and kitchen. It's definitely good for a short or long stay.

The bathroom is dated and could use an upgrade, especially because it is located so close to the beach, so a shower instead of a bath shower would work better for beach goers.

Provide a little bit more than 2 role of toilet paper. Although it is expensive, perhaps invest in an air cooler or even aircon - although loadshedding wouldn't be particularly helpful. Maybe all the owners in the building need to talk to body corporate to get a generator to power the elevators and lights in corridors?
