Gut gelegen, sehr nahe Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Strandnähe, d.h. fußläufig zu erreichen. Gastgeber sehr zuvorkommend, hält alles tiptop in Ordnung und blitzsauber. Pool herrlich und bestens gepflegt.

Room was clean, bed was comfy, wifi was OK.

A little bit noisy due to fuel situation (road nearby was full of tuk-tuks) Host was a bit too persistent on his services and making a review, but nothing critical.

A warm welcome and a helpful host The pool is a bonus for relaxing at the end of the day

Do not pay for your stay upon arrival as the owner requests, because if the rental doesn't suit you, he won't give you a refund. You should remind him that it's not a hotel but just a room to rent

The room, pool and owners were all wonderful. It was a great location for taking the bus or train. The only downside was that it’s a bit of a walk to the beach. Overall though, it’s great value for the money and I would recommend it.

Bra rum med fint badrum med varmvatten. Mysigt med en pool rakt utanför dörren. Nära till stranden och till floden. Värden var väldigt tillmötesgående och trevlig.

AC i vårt rum tog lite tid på sig att komma igång så det var lite varmt i början men det blev bättre

Alles war bestens. In unserem Appartement könnten wir nicht draußen sitzen, da keine Stühle da waren.

Our host Lalith, his friends and family were really welcoming and helpful. We arrived the day before my birthday which happened to be Lalith’s birthday, so we were invited to join the celebrations and even had a bit of cake. Nothing was too much trouble, booking a lovely birthday meal for me at the amazing Amal Villa restaurant and helping us with our airport transfer. The room was clean, with air conditioning, ceiling fan, fridge freezer and hob. It was far enough away from the main road to not be disturbed, but still an easy walk to the beach. I would recommend this property.

It felt secure, it was clean, there is a small pool and the hosts are very helpful and kind.

Nice and spacious room with a big, comfortable bed and clean bathroom. There is a front garden where you can sit. It is a 8-10min walk from the beach and there are some restaurants and a small supermarket closeby. Lalith, the owner, and his wife were super friendly and hospitable. They helped us when my boyfriend was sick and made sure we had everything we needed. Would recommend!

Lovely clean studio apartment. Comfortable bed and excellent communication from the host. Washing machine in the hall and plenty of hot water for showers. Great restaurants nearby too

Great Stay with Convenient Location and Facilities The stay was affordable and conveniently located within walking distance of both the bus stop and railway station. The beach is also nearby, making it easy to explore the area. Overall, a comfortable and budget-friendly option with all the essential facilities.

We loved our stay here, the property is so great. A short walk from the beach and restaurants. Breakfast was great, Lalith was so accommodating and helpful, organising our taxi to the airport for us. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Nice spacious apartment where the hostess prepares breakfast in your apartment. Well equipped kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Lovely to have suitcase space and not be tripping over them. Easy walk to beach and amenities

Gate locked at 10pm which won't suit everybody but wasn't a problem for us

Great communication at all times in the lead up to and during our booking. Huge apartment set up with everything needed for a long stay including washing machine, iron and well equipped kitchen. Perfect location for getting to the beach, lagoon, shops, bars and restaurants. Were so kind in letting us arrive early and leave our bags. Also, said we could leave our bags on the day we left. Lovely garden area which I took advantage of for a workout. Owner can organise a fabulous boat tour on the lagoon. They asked us what we would like for breakfast and I mentioned a very special dish, which they then immediately said that they would make. Was delicious!

Bed was hard. As with all of Sri Lanka, expect a bit of traffic noise. Found it a bit awkward with breakfast being served in our apartment. Owners live offsite and had prepped then brought, but had to do the tea and coffee in our kitchen. Suggest maybe they should just not include breakfast. Also means you need to be specific about time of breakfast day before.

The AA worked perfectly, breakfast was good, confortable bed, mosquito net was appreciated because there were many many mosquitos in the room. The location is not close to the beach or restaurante, but it is very calm area with no noise.

Nice and clean place, within walking distance to most sights. Spot for parking. Very accommodating host, arranged breakfast for us with requested breakfast food. Access to washing machine and full kitchen. AC in bedroom, fan in living room. All in all, perfect for us needing a short stay for a small group!

We had an unforgettable stay in your beautiful apartment in Bentota! Everything was perfect: the apartment was cozy, clean and thought out to the smallest detail. We were very pleased that there was everything necessary for a comfortable stay: a fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine, and a mosquito net over the bed, which is especially important in a tropical climate. The location is just great - a quiet and peaceful place where you can relax, but at the same time shops, the beach and the main attractions are within walking distance. Special thanks for your attention and willingness to help in any situation. You responded to all our requests quickly and with care, which made our stay here even more enjoyable. Particularly memorable was the excursion along the river to the mangrove forests, where we saw amazing nature and animals, as well as an incredible one and a half hour Ayurvedic massage, after which we felt completely renewed. And, of course, delicious and varied breakfasts - every day began with a gastronomic pleasure. Thank you for your hospitality! We will definitely come back and recommend this place to all our friends and acquaintances.

Everything super!

Perfect place for a long term stay. You can do the laundry, cook your own meals and the beach is only a 5 min walk. Many people will offer you River safari, but make sure you let the property manager book you with his friend - he was a great guide and could even spot hidden animals, that other boats just passed by.

Everything was nice, clean and spacious. We could do our laundry and even had our own kitchen with all the necessary equipment. The owners were super helpful and considerate.

You have to walk a bit to reach the beach but the route is a residential area so you have atm, super market, eatery, fruit shop so it's worth the walk. I had previously booked Channa Villa and it was a horrible experience the host cancelled the booking wanted offline booking quoted high price for everything and don't book river safari with Channa, my current host Lalith helped us get the safari at much lesser cost, the tuk tuk person even picked us up and dropped us. Channa quoted very high price was not at all professional, any day would prefer Lalith even though it's not right at the beach unlike Channa as the tradeoff os money and peace of mind and the warmth of your host

The street and school behind is a bit noisy

i was not comfortable with the bed but as soon as I told the owner, he changed it in 1 hour! never expected to be that prompt as it may be just my preferences.

Really great property for stay at such a reasonable price. It was a very comfortable stay for our family. Property is 10 minutes walking to Bentota beach (3 minutes by car). It is a full apartment with spacious rooms and kitchen inside. All the rooms were spotless and clean. This was our best stay in Srilanka, by far given the apartment size, cleanliness and location.

I loved this property. I travel to Bentota every 6 months and it’s the best place I’ve stayed. Ultra clean property with all the amenities you need, including washing machine, iron and proper pressure hot shower. Lalith and his wife are superstar hosts that will make you feel at home. Very peaceful place walking distance to the beach, supermarket and restaurants. I can’t recommend this place highly enough! I can’t wait to go back!

Nothing, everything was just perfect!

Located just 100 metres from the Colombo Road, near a lovely cluster of shops including English language newspaper stand (run by a smiley elderly gentleman), pizza restaurant, Cargill supermarket, fruit and vegetable stalls, etc. Just a short walk or tuktuk ride from the river and centre of town (200-300 rps). Peaceful, secure and quiet. The owner communicates well and is most courteous and proactive. The apartment is fully equipped and makes a great home-base for travelers. Exceptional.

Lalith's bungalow offers the best way to enjoy Bentota and it wonderful beach. You get the support of a knowledgeable and caring host and his wife who went out of their way to help and make ones stay enjoyable. The accommodation is comfortable, in a quiet location in its nice garden, is well served and highly recommended. Enjoy a proper Sri Lankan breakfast. I look forward to returning.

Perfect place, good view, staff is amazing!

Perfect host, was helping us all the time, helped to get a taxi from the airport, to arrange hospital appointments even in another city, to find the places we needed, to buy groceries at the market at local prices. If in the house we need something always help to get it. House is very clean, with enough space for 3 people with the kid. We mentioned before check-in that we need a work place, the host add a desc and a chair, which wasn't in the original description. Kitchen equipment was enough for self-cooking. There are 5 minutes way on tuk-tuk to the beach and 10 minutes way to the next area with many shops. There was a few grocery store and vegetable market with good prices nearby. We enjoyed staying in Bentota with Lalith so much and recommend staying.

Big bedroom with all necessary futniture and AC; Kitchen is fully equipped, enough space for everything. High roofs; Two restrooms with all necessary things. Good location, quiet and 5-7 mins to go to the beach. Nice and reliable host.

When there is no sun all day, you cannot take a warm shower, but it's almost always sunny :)
