Reviewed Jun 4, 2026Die Besitzer haben uns überrascht in dem sie uns unverhofft vom Bus abholten, wir haben uns sehr gefreut dann mussten wir nicht weit laufen. Sie sind sehr sehr herzlich und sympathisch, sehr zuvorkommend, sehr freundlich und wirklich hilfsbereit und gut zu erreichen. Man konnte zwischen Holzofen und Klimaanlage entscheiden, der Ofen wurde machte das Hüttchen sehr warm. Es gab einen Föhn und eine Lampe mit Bewegungsmelder in der Dusche:)

Reviewed Apr 14, 2026Petite cabane très cosy et accueil très chaleureux de la part des hôtes. Un petit déjeuner avec des produits maison (oeuf, confiture...) et excellent. Un immense merci a Francisco et son épouse pour avoir tout mis en oeuvre pour que le séjour se déroule au mieux et que je me sente comme chez moi. Merci aussi pour toutes les informations sur la région très utiles. SI je reviens dans la region, je reviendrai ici

C'est un peu excentré mais à seulement 15 min à pied du tout petit centre de Chaiten. Le propriétaire nous a déposé au ferry le lendemain.

Reviewed Feb 22, 2026Ačkoliv jsme přijeli až skoro o půlnoci, hostitel na nás čekal, všechno v rychlosti vysvětlil a zatopil nám v kamnech. Dřeva bylo dost i na přiložení. Chata je útulná, parkování na soukromém pozemku hned u chaty. Veškeré povlečení bylo čisté, voňavé, jak v nějakém drahém hotelu.
Ohřívač vody zlobil, bylo nutné vždy teplou vodu čtyřikrát vypnout a zapnout. Postele v patře mají překvapivě nízko nad hlavou střechu. Pro 4 lidi by to bylo spíš malé.

Reviewed Mar 25, 2025I really enjoyed staying here. Such a wonderful family with great character! Francisco met from the bus and dropped me off at the bus stop when I left Chaiten. The cabin is really comfortable with lots of natural light. Any questions I had were quickly answered. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Reviewed Nov 28, 2024We liked everything! The hut is really cozy and comfortable. And Francisco is a great host, very attentive and friendly. He came to pick us up from the ferry and also brought us to the bus station when we left. Moreover, he helped us to organise our trekking to parque pumalin. We definitely recommend FioFio Patagonia cabañas!

It was misrepresented as a two bedroom apartment. It was a studio apartment with one double bed downstairs and two beds in a loft above the main room. There was no lounge room. The hot water system was finicky. The bed was sitting on two pallets which protruded from the mattress meaning they were easy to ki k.

Reviewed Apr 7, 2024Very spacious cabin - well kitted out with a small kitchen and table & chairs. Really comfortable beds. Very clean throughout. Good location - just over the bridge out of town so very quiet. Host was very friendly and had lots of recommendations and information for us about restaurants, bakeries, tourist attractions, etc. Gave us a couple of eggs from their hens which was appreciated!
Heating was controlled from the host's house rather than being able to control it yourself. The host was responsive when we asked for changes from the pre-programmed settings, but it would be a lot easier if it could be controlled from the apartment itself. Other than this, it was 10 out of 10.

Reviewed Dec 5, 2022The cabin was very cozy and comfortable and very clean! The location was central enough that we can just walk across the bridge to the restaurants and shops. Although its on a main road, it was not noisy at all.
