Unit 3 The shower (over bath) leaked significantly all over the bathroom floor. The host was informed and let me know this is fixed. The bathroom washbasin’s push down plug doesn’t pop up so you have to lever it. The host also know about this. While out of control of the host, both nights we were there, there was an excessively noisy neighbour somewhere in the surrounding complex laughing and calling out until at least midnight - recommend you bring your earplugs to manage this.

El apartamento está equipado con todo lo necesario y es muy acogedor.. Está super bien situado a un pasp de todo.. Tieme cerca varios supermercados y la plaza principal donde paran todas las lineas urbanas. La zona es muy bomita. Disfrutamoa de largos paseos bordeando el rio y los canales. Quedamos enamorados de Karlstad y Suecia pero sobretodo de su gente muy educada y amable. La propetaria es encantadora y está atenta a las necesidades del huesped. Repetiría sin dudarlo.
Nada. Todo fue una gran experiencis.

Reviewed Aug 26, 2026Nydelig innredet leilighet med langt høyere standard enn forventet. Kjempefin beliggenhet og deilig veranda. Supert med låsbar sykkelbod. Kode til ytterdør og nøkkelbpks til leiligheten fungerte helt prikkfritt. Alt var nydelig!

Reviewed Aug 11, 2026Super Lage: Einkaufen, Innenstadt, Erholung am Wasser alles fußläufig zu erreichen. Trotzdem ruhig gelegen. Viel Platz in der Wohnung, netter Balkon. Für Nutzung durch 3 oder 4 Personen kann die Nachbarwohnung (mit eigener Küche) durch eine Verbindungstür genutzt werden. Gern wieder.

Reviewed Jul 20, 2026Väldigt centralt och närheten till staden. Fantastiskt läge. Skönt med ett komplett kök. Fint badrum. Jätteskönt att det fanns ett cykelförråd att ställa cyklarna i, istället för att behöva ha dem fastlåsta på bilen. Det var ett lugnt område, så vi kändes oss trygga.
Det fanns inget att anmärka på. Personen som hyrde ut var väldigt trevlig och visade oss allt som ingick.

Reviewed May 31, 2026Trivelig og romslig leilighet i stille område, alt utstyr man trenger, deilige senger. Vi var to og leide den ene leiligheten, er man fler kan to leiligheter slås sammen. Stedet tas godt vare på, fine detaljer fra byggeperioden. Vi kjente oss så velkommen, og kommer gjerne tilbake!

Reviewed May 22, 2026Eine schöne kleine Stadtwohnung mit Holzfußboden und liebevoller Einrichtung. Fußbodenheizung im Bad! Perfekte Lage um die Stadt zu erkunden. Den Parkplatz im Hof und den abschließbaren Fahrradkeller haben wir gerne genutzt.

Reviewed Sep 18, 2025Der Check-in war sehr einfach mit einem Zahlencode. Die Lage der Wohnung hat mir gut gefallen, zentral, aber trotzdem sehr ruhig gelegen. Man erreicht die Wohnung bequem zu Fuß vom Bahnhof aus und ein Supermarkt ist auch gleich um die Ecke. Es war alles sauber und ich habe mich in der Wohnung wohl gefüllt und habe gut geschlafen. Auch die Kommunikation lief ohne Probleme.
Das WLAN ist in der Wohnung leider sehr sehr schlecht. Das Signal ist sehr schwach und die Verbindung geht regelmäßig verloren.

Reviewed Sep 13, 2025Wir hatten das kleine Appartment gebucht, aber die Vermieterin war so nett, uns das größere Appartment mit Balkon zu überlassen, auf dieses grössere Appartment bezieht sich die Bewertung. Wir fanden, dass das Appartment sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet war, es war alles vorhanden was man braucht. Es gab die Möglichkeit die Fahrräder in einem Fahrradraum unterzubringen. Der Parkplatz im Hinterhof war praktisch. Freundliche und sehr entgegenkommende Vermieterin. Supermarkt mit langen Öffnungszeiten in der Nähe.
Alles OK für unsere Bedürfnisse.

Reviewed Jul 3, 2025This review is for flat number 3, which looks over the inner yard and is on the lower floor. It is a no frills apartment, with limited space, two beds and somewhat outdated, but does-the-trick furniture. The kitchen is equipped with a micro and a filter coffee machine. Coffee was available. There was no milk and a minimum of what former guests had left. You will have to walk a bit to find some food, so if you arrive late, bring your own or order take-out. There is a hair dryer, an iron and board, some shampoo and some soap. Towels are available as are sheets. For 20-25 Euros more you get a boutique-type hotel downtown, including breakfast.
You are asked to clean the fridge and throw away the trash. Unfortunately, it is not easy to locate the trash room, which is outside. The whole building appears to be rental apartments, for short term visits. The walls are very thin and you easily hear your neighbours. Note that the wifi is very weak in this apartment.

Reviewed Aug 21, 2023No linen on bed, lack of toilet paper, nosy host requesting inspection on day 3 (which I turned down), only 3 local TV stations, tiny bathroom with shower in bath tub, cleanliness, no house number on premises, passer by's calling us racist for no apparent reason as we never uttered a word to anyone. No laundry facilities.

Reviewed Aug 9, 2023We had a terrific stay here! The apartment was clean, beautifull decorated, fully equipped with everything one could need and the host was exceptionally friendly. The apartment is even more beautiful than on the pictures! The location of the apartment is in a lovely quiet area of the town next to a pretty river but still within 5 minutes walking distance of the town center. (Check out the beautiful street art at the side of the building, it's stunning and speaks volumes about the apartment) We had a wonderful stay here all around and I can only recommend this apartment to anyone who visits Karlstad!

Reviewed Aug 3, 2023Anna-Lena, the owner, was extremely helpful and nice. She gave a lot of good information and presented the whole appartment of ours as well another appartment that she rents. The one bedroom appartment that we rented for four nights has a very good view to the canal, it was cosy and spacious, too. The kitchen equipment was good, especially I liked the knives which quite often are very blunt - not in this appartment. The frying pans were worn-out, but when telling that to Anna-Lena, she bought new frying pans :). Even though there was no air condition (except the open windows and fans), it was not that warm as we could keep the windows open and the big trees by the canal are giving some shadow to the rooms which are against the morning sun.
The bathroom needs some update but it was still clean and useful. We prefer shower instead of bath and also would like to have better ventilation. The two beds were not the same hight but did not cause any problem for us. They were still comfortable.

Reviewed May 18, 2023The location of the apartment was perfect. And it was spacious and nicely decorated. A good size fridge. Just a short walk to the restaurants and a grocery. There was a parking space for the car in the same yard. We did have a good night sleeps. We were welcomed very friendly. Easy to check in and out. Absolutely big recommendations for this place.
The place of the car was under a tree, from which the leaves fell on the car. The parking lot was in a different place than originally intended. The hobs were really worn out. Although we didn't use the stove. The electrical sockets were really loose in a couple of places.

Reviewed Aug 21, 2022The location was almost perfect: a five-minute-walk from the city center and yet very quiet. The landlady was very friendly and helpful. And in the backyard of the building there was a parking lot that we could use.
Because of the windows facing south it became hot in the sleeping and dining rooms during the day when we didn't keep the blinds closed.
