So quaint and such a lovely layout!

There was nothing that I didn’t like!

It was quiet. It was completely comfortable and safe. It was clean& had all the things you could need at a holiday home.

Great apartment, it has everything you need. Super friendly hosts always available to respond to our questions and help where needed. Thank you Michelle and Kevin for your hospitality and kindness. Looking forward to returning in September.

The view of the loft look was so small and cute suitable for my family of three the morning sunrise on the balcony.

As a couple staying in the loft for 6 nights we found the space perfect. Lots of hanging and shelf space for our clothes. There was also the spare bed for extra bits. Lots of shelf space in the bathroom and a full sized, fully equipped kitchen. Michelle and Kevin were on hand if we needed them/had a question but basically left us to it, which we liked. Woolworths is 5 minutes walk away for stocking up on food or for breakfast out if you fancy. The balcony was a nice area to sit out on, getting the sun for most of the day. Would definitely stay again.

A bit of noise from the main road as you'd expect being quite close, but only at the usual busy times of day.

The property is perfectly located for those who prefer the quieter side of Cape Town. It’s just a short drive from Muizenberg’s Surfer’s Corner and the vibrant restaurants and charming shops of Kalk Bay. The accommodation is a beautiful self-catering unit with very friendly hosts. It’s exceptionally clean, modern, and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Heel fijn en ruim appartement voor 2 personen. Super lieve en goede service van de hosts. Het bed was niet comfortabel en dit is zelfs tijdens ons verblijf nieuw aangeschaft (matras)!

Als tip zou ik graag meegeven dat verversing van schone handdoeken tijdens een verblijf van 10 dagen wel prettig geweest zouden zijn!

It was our second time and we love the space and location. It's Also beautiful and comfortable. We will be back.

The loft was lovely, exactly like the pictures, clean, comfortable, had everything we needed, the host Michelle and her husband were such kind people, always checking if we needed anything, even gave us freshly made pancakes that were delicious.

The Host's were the best! The Loft is the most comfortable and most beautiful place to stay!!!, it's truly exceptional.

The loft was clean, nice, and cozy. What really makes it stand out are the hosts—they pay great attention to detail and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and welcomed.

That we couldn’t stay longer because it was booked out we wished we stayed longer.

The accommodation is exactly as you see in the photos. It is exceptionally clean and well equipped with everything we needed and wanted. We were there for 5 nights and the beds are very comfortable and the shower water always piping hot. Michelle is a wonderful hostess who catered for our every need. We even received freshly baked muffins on our 3rd evening. Thank you Michelle. It was our second stay with you and we will definitely be back.

We liked everything about the place..The set-up is perfect ,,everything is on point..Like the privacy of the place..The fact that you don't bump into the host when you go out or cone in it a bonus...Sometimes it feels like you disturbing host.

The bed is getting old...But we had a lovely relaxing stay and would definitely look at going back again

The Hosts, Kevin and Michelle, were absolutely the best you could ask for. Nothing was a problem for them. Well done K & M. Communication was second to none, with any requests attended to immediately. The unit was clean, tidy and spacious, with more than adequate wardrobe and storage space. The kitchen was reasonably equipped with all the necessities to prepare meals when required. The bed was very comfortable. There were also those little personal touched that really made us feel like we were at home. The location is a short walking distance to a supermarket, the railway station, The Zandflei and less than 2 kilometers from Muizenberg and the beach. Everything for a perfect stay. Thank you, Michelle and Kevin for your kind hospitality.

I'd have to really think hard to find something not to like. Some may find the parking arrangements and arranging vehicles, if the garage option is chosen, a little awkward, however Kevin and Michelle manage this superbly. Their communication and management skills for the parking arrangements were exceptional and there was never an instant during the 4 weeks of our stay where garaging or taking the car out was an issue. Well done guys. There is also additional off street parking in front of the property.

The location was perfect for our requirements. The hosts were absolutely exceptional. Thé apartment was well equipped with all the necessary equipment for cooking. Highly recommend this stay.

The apartment becomes a little hot late in the afternoon in summer when closed but cools quickly once the windows are opened. There is a fan to assist with the cooling.

It was absolutely a lovely stay! The owners are super nice and hospital people,the dog is super kind . The apartment it was really clean in a nice and safe neighbourhood. The view is also amazing ! Thank you so much for hosting us .

The location was perfect and felt very safe! The appartment was awesome - we loved it - so cozy, very clean, comfortable furnished and the kitchen was fully equipped and even had a dishwasher. Michelle was so helpful and always reachable! We would defenitely come back :)

Earlier this year we traveled from New York City and stayed at an Airbnb nestled in quiet suburban Lakeside, Cape Town, and it was a comfortable and memorable stay. The property is ideally situated, offering both peaceful seclusion and easy access to some of Cape Town’s most iconic attractions. The Airbnb is located above a garage with its own separate entrance. Tastefully furnished, it blends modern comforts with light touches of local charm. The interiors are simply but well decorated, with a soothing color palette and cozy elements that make you feel right at home. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, from the comfortable bedroom to the stylish living spaces. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the living room provides a perfect spot to relax after a day of sightseeing. On the wettest, coldest winter nights, you may need to ask for an extra blanket but otherwise the apartment is well insulated and cosy. One of the highlights of this stay was the hospitality. The owners, Kevin and Michelle. are friendly, welcoming, and genuinely care about their guests’ comfort. While they maintain a very respectful distance, they check in periodically to ensure everything is going well. This balance of attentiveness without being intrusive made for a stress-free and enjoyable experience. They are also full of helpful local tips if you want to learn more about the area or need recommendations. The location is a perfect mix of tranquil residential surroundings and proximity to all the attractions of False Bay. Muizenberg beach, St. James and Kalk Bay are all just a short drive or train ride away, offering a beautiful stretch of coastline with a laid-back vibe. Additionally, the nearby mountains provide fantastic hiking opportunities and scenic views. There’s a great nearby cafe, serving good coffee and light food, located in a small shopping complex, with Woolworths as the flagship store.

It was clean and has everything one needs for a comfortable stay. The little gestures like popcorn in the bowl or the special tea makes one feel special. The photos is exactly how the place looks and the mountain view is beautiful

The extra touches were wonderful. The welcome sign, chocolate on the bed, microwave popcorn for a movie night made my stay feel homey. Michelle and Kevin checked up on me to make sure I was okay and gave me suggestions on places I should visit. The loft is about a 10 minute drive to st James beach and about 30 mins away from Simon’s town, convenient and comfortable place to stay when exploring the South. I definitely see myself visiting again. Thank you both.

Kevin and Michelle are very friendly and made us feel very welcome and right at home. The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a great long weekend.

That it was hearty,warmth and a comfortable place. It is organized,need and very clean. The mountain views are one of the best.The self catering owners Kevin and Michelle the best people, made you feel at home.

Lovely loft, beautifully decorated with lots of personal touches like a welcoming note, biscuits to enjoy, tea, coffee and milk and a sweet surprise on the bed. Lotion, shampoo ,shower gel and shower caps in the bathroom. Michelle was very friendly and helpful and she really thought about every possible need. We had beautiful views of the Muizenberg mountain from the patio.

Liked everything about the place. The inverter was an amazing addition as it kept the lights on and other connectivities such a Wi-Fi and TV.

They were awesome hosts! This place was just great, and I will certainly return. I brought my Father along and I originally flew from overseas to get a new U.S Visa, but ended staying for 2 weeks. The location is great, very close to Muizenberg, and Tokai the other way, also two main roads and a highway leading to three main directions. There's a very nice supermarket and little centre just down the road, and the pizza place does great pizzas if you want to Order in. I loved sitting on the patio late afternoon just staring up at the Tokai mountains, a spectacular view. The loft's design is really cool, spacious, and very clean. The loft's windows are also very nicely placed to draw in the breeze from the mountain. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. The smart t.v as well as the WiFi speed was great. I will certainly return here time and time again, this place is perfect

It was all Great!

The Loft is beautiful and very well-equipped with anything you could wish for in your own house. If by any chance you are missing something the amazing hosts Michelle and Kevin are willing to assist or help with anything. They even offered to do our laundry when we asked about the washing machine in the Loft.

I didn't like the double bed i slept on. It was not the most comfortable. i have a weak back, it didnt help me much.

Somehow this spot just worked wonderfully for me. The hosts were kind, friendly and welcoming and the loft-like apartment was beautiful and comfortable. I would really recommend this location and accommodation.

Beautiful flat with Mountain views very comfortable and well equipped. Excellent central location close to shops and the sea. The owners are very friendly and polite and go the extra mile to make the stay a great experience. (We even got treated with delicious chocolate muffins one day) I really recommend this flat and will definitely consider it for my next visit to Cape Town. Thank you Kevin a Michelle

The Loft is located conveniently close to the US Consulate. - We visited Cape Town for our visum interviews. Michele ( our host ) assist us in preparation for the interview which helped a lot. From arrival to departure the facility and experience was wonderful. Special place, special people , special touch !

It was a cold weekend and there was no heating available. The pillows are rock hard and uncomfortable. There needs to be a table for eating inside when it rains

I loved everything about the Mountain Loft. Michelle's & Gavins attention to detail did not go unseen. The little things matter and they definitely did not fall short of meeting this criteria.

The town was really short of things to do and places to buy most things. Also, finding Ubers was really really hard. That, I did not like.
