Reviewed Aug 18, 2026What an absolute gem of a place! From the moment we arrived we felt so welcome — the host checked us in warmly and gave us some genuinely great local tips that made our stay even better. The property itself is beautifully decorated, and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The setting is wonderfully quiet and green, and the garden runs right down to the water, so you can just jump in for a swim whenever you fancy. There are also lovely walking routes nearby to explore. We can't recommend this place highly enough. We'll definitely be back!

Reviewed Jul 20, 2026Sehr freundliche Gastgeber und wunderbare frische Blumen haben uns in dieser einzigartigen Unterkunft empfangen. Die Wohnung ist so eingerichtet, dass man sich in eine andere Zeit versetzt fühlt. Küche und Bad sind allerdings zeitgemäss und gut ausgestattet. Der wunderbare Garten mit verschiedenen Sitzplätzen sowie der Zugang zum Fluss runden das Angebot ab. Für Schiffsfans ist die Durchfahrt grosser Tanker ein tolles Highlight.

Die Treppe zur Wohnung in den ersten Stock ist sportlich, aber die Wohnung ist supergemütlich mit neuem originellem Bad, moderne Küche wo es an nichts fehlt und einem romantischen Schlafzimmer. Die Gastgeberin hat gute Tipps für einzigartige und verborgene Badesseen in unmittelbarer Nähe.
Fernseher ist nicht vorhanden aber das gehört zum Konzept, wer Ruhe sucht braucht das nicht.

Reviewed Jul 10, 2026Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in herrlicher Umgebung direkt am Fluss. Die Unterkunft war sehr besonders und schön. Die Gastgeberfamilie war sehr herzlich, wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Es war ein unvergesslicher Aufenthalt an einem ganz besonderen Ort!!

Reviewed Aug 8, 2025Prachtige plek! Heel mooi huis.. met liefde en aandacht ingericht.. je voelde de ‘oude’ sfeer.. Alles was aanwezig..
Door de indeling van het huis moesten weer door de slaapkamer van onze kinderen om naar de wc te kunnen.. maar ook dat viel prima mee te leven..

The only negative was that the can opener was hard to use!

Reviewed Jul 28, 2025The whole property is in picturesque setting right by the river and is beautifully decorated. The beds are super comfy and the kitchen has everything you could need. The whole apartment is very well equipped. We enjoyed sitting in the garden which was lovely and peaceful. Our hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful with recommendations on where to visit locally and on the coast.

Looking at the pictures you can't even imagine how this place looks like in real life - and it exceeds your expectations by miles!!
