We had an amazing stay. Everything we needed was there. Our hosts are wonderful people, who were very helpful. The location is fabulous, near the train station and it was so peaceful and the views from every window, amazing! We couldn’t have asked for anything more.

Beautiful hosts and fabulous comfortable apartment and views to die for. Perfect place to stay to explore Lauterbrunnen Interlaken and Jungfrau region. Very close to trains and buses. Easy parking onsite. Would highly recommend it’s so comfortable and quiet. We could even prepare meals easily. Pool was fabulous on hot days and fan provided in apartment for extreme heat! My husband is 6’1” and had to duck just a little in bathroom as roof slopes but it wasn’t a problem.

Nothing it’s perfect. Only improvement would be a guest washing machine to be available.

Cudowni gospodarze. Zostaliśmy odebrani osobiście z dworca w Interlaken podczas zameldowania oraz odwiezieni przy wymeldowaniu. Otrzymaliśmy kartę, która umożliwia darmowy transport do/z Interlaken. Sam apartament 400m od dworca skąd można dojechać w 5 minut do Interlaken oraz w drugą stronę do Grindewald/Lauterbrunnen. Obok dworca dwa sklepy spożywcze otwarte cały tydzień. Okolica cicha i spokojna, piękny widok na góry, ciągłe odgłosy natury i ptaków. Sam Apartament znajduje się na drugim piętrze domu, które jest całe dla gości: salon, sypialnia, kuchnia z jadalnią, łazienka, taras z widokiem na góry. Dodatkowo dostępny był mini basen na zewnątrz z racji upałów. Na wyposażeniu było wszystko co potrzebne. Gospodarze zawsze chętni do ewentualnego kontaktu czy pomocy.

Wunderschöne Wohnung, sehr freundliche Gastgeber. Bei der Ausstattung der Wohnung und vor allem der Küche wurde an alles gedacht. Hier fühlt man sich schnell wohl. Die Lage der Wohnung ist optimal, Nähe dem Bahnhof Wilderswil, man kann alle Ausflüge mit dem Zug oder Bus absolvieren.

Amazing hosts who picked us up and dropped us off at the train station, extremely clean and well kept apartment in a great location, with amazing views from the balcony.

It’s not the fault of the hosts, though I would note in very hot weather the apartment doesn’t have the best ventilation and with windows open we got bitten quite a bit by mosquitoes. It’s nothing against the hosts and we would consider the stay a 10, but if we had to pick one thing we didn’t like it would be this.

What an amazing stay we had in Winderswil. The hosts were amazing. They were kind and extremely helpful with local recommendations and they even so kindly picked us up and dropped us off at the station! The place itself was exceptionally clean and clearly well looked after with fantastic kitchen facilities allowing us to cook meals for ourselves during our stay. We loved the location as it was a short walk (5 minutes) to wilderswil train station which allowed us to access everywhere we wanted to go including interlaken and grinderwald. We could not recommend staying in this accomodation more! This really is one of the best places I’ve stayed and the hosts were fantastic. 11/10! Thank you so much Barbara and Jorg for having us and we hope to return one day!

Literally nothing the place was perfect!

Great location, fabulous hosts who kindly drove us to the train station on departure. Hosts also had helpful suggestions for places to visit & where to eat. Loved being able to sit on the verandah for coffee in the morning & a cool drink in the evening after a busy day. The apartment was set up with everything we needed for a very comfortable stay.

Nothing. It was unusually hot when we visited but opening the windows at night & a little fan helped cool the apartment down quite well.

Location, views, facilities and hosts were all great. I can’t recommend enough.

Not a complaint but the bathroom is tight for a tall person.

Chalet Sunnmätteli is an absolute gem of an apartment. We liked the cleanliness and the comfortable large bed. We like the excellent amount of little extras, such as coffee pods and milk pods, chocolate in the fridge, and bottled water. All left for us to use.

If there is one thing that was a negative, it is that the otherwise perfect bathroom has a slopping roof, and as my partner is well over 6ft tall, he couldn't stand up straight when in front of the basin. But the shower was fine as there was more height. This was a minor thing, and we/he coped without any dramas!

The apartment was beautiful as was the view from the deck. It had a well stocked kitchen with all the supplies needed. Barbara and "Joe" were very kind, picked us up and dropped us at the train station and provided lots of helpful guidance.

It would be great if they had extra bed pillows😀

Everything here was perfect! 3 min walk to Wilderswil station. Super clean and spacious accommodation with kitchen & utensils, and lovely views. Owners kindly picked us up and dropped us off at Interlaken station which was very much appreciated

Location Location Location!!! 5mins to Wilderswil station, walking distance to groceries/ restaurants. Property is well maintained and super comfy. Kitchen is well equipped. Bathroom is clean. Everything works! Best of all, Barbara and Jorg were like family. Thank you for such a lovely stay 💕

We loved our stay in Wilderswil, the hosts were amazing and welcoming picking us up from the train station in Interlaken and giving us great tips for the region. The location in Wilderswil was perfect, a lot quieter than Interlaken plus we received a guest card for staying in Wilderswil that allowed us to catch the train/bus into Interlaken for free (less than 10min ride) and gave discounts for some activities/gondolas. The room was great with a separate TV room and kitchen.

Sehr nette Gastgeber, man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Saubere, sehr schöne Wohnung mit sehr guter Ausstattung. Es gibt sogar eine Kaffeemaschine, nicht nur einen Kapselautomaten! Parken kann man auf dem Grundstück. Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen angenehmen Wohngegend, die Bahn ist nach einem kurzen Fußweg zu erreichen. Bahnanbindung in alle Richtungen gut, das Auto macht Urlaub. Fahrten nach Interlaken sind übrigens mit der Gästekarte gratis. Wir würden wieder dort buchen, es hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

Hosts Barbara and Jorg were lovely and helpful. The accommodation was absolutely beautiful with stunning views! It was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed and more. Some lovely little personal touches such as chocolates in the fridge. Amazing and would love to return one day.

Rendkívül jól felszerelt, tiszta, tágas apartman, gyönyörű kilátással és kiváló elhelyezkedéssel, csak 5 perc séta a vonatállomástól. A szállásadó házaspár kedves, segítőkész és előzékeny. A valaha volt legjobb apartman-szállásunk.

The property is even better in person than in the photos. It’s very clean, spacious and has everything you would need. Barbara and Jorg were also very welcoming and accommodating guests who explained everything and were very helpful all throughout. Probably our favorite accommodation to date.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. Apt was beautiful and provided everything we needed. Loved the balcony and the views are spectacular! Centrally located.

A little warm for Switzerland and apartment had no air conditioning.

Jorg and Barbara opened up their hearts to us in addition to their home. We had reservation to go to jungfraujoch and could not find lockers so Jorg came to the train station to get our luggage. The place felt like home right away. We decided to have all dinners at home in the balcony facing the mountains. We did not bring shampoo and soap (didnt realize that we had to bring them) and they were kind enough to provide it to us. The town is amazing, and a great place to relax right after a busy touristy day. The location is excellent, steps from the train station.

Everything was wonderful. Very welcoming hosts. Comfortable and well-equipped home. Located close to transportation. A place I would love to live and we will definitely come back.

Extremely accommodating hosts. Wonderfully quaint village neighborhood. Close to the train station. Loved the sun roofs. Loved the terrace. Loved the smart TV. Loved the full kitchen with condiments, utensils, pots and pans, plates, glasses, dishwasher. Loved the refrigerator with free Swiss chocolate from the hosts. Loved the garden with town and mountain views.

Could maybe have a bidet? Not really a large issue.

A great apartment with mountain views from every window and skylights. The kitchen is well designed with modern appliances and is well equipped. We originally planned to eat out each night and only use the kitchen for making breakfast, but the kitchen and dining area were so comfortable that we decided to stay in 2 of the 3 nights we were there. Barbara and Jorg were wonderful hosts.

The low ceiling in the bathroom requires some getting used to.

Quiet & homely A real Swiss chalet experience The owners kindly picked us up at Interlaken Ost & returned us to the train station.

We felt so "at home" during our stay here, due in no small part to the friendliness and warmth of our hosts. A beautiful flat with everything we needed for our stay, and just 5 minutes walk to the train and bus station to connect you easily to everywhere in the region. Perfect!

There isn't a bad thing we can say about our stay here, we are already looking forward to our next trip to Switzerland and we will definitely book to stay here again.

Jorg and Barbara were both very friendly and kind and gave us great suggestion. The chalet inside and outside were very clean with full function kitchen. 5-6 min. walk to Wilderswil train station. However, Jorg was so kind to pick us up/drop us off at the Interlaken Ost train station. Very quiet neighborhood too.

If we want to be picky then we would say we were not used to the texture of the comforter on the bed at the beginning. Nevertheless, This was a great apartment for our 7 nights stay. Highly recommend!!!

We loved everything about the apartment. Jorg and Barbara have created a cosy and comfortable home away from home. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook evening meals. The light and views were wonderful. It was a great, quick walk to the train station. We would definitely recommend.

Everything. Our hosts were personable, thoughtful and kind; the accommodation was clean and comfortable and it was close (5 ~ 7 mins) to trains, buses, 2 x local convenience stores. Awakening each morning to significant quantities of local birds was a treat and overall the sense of calm from the accommodation was tangible.

We liked everything. If we had to offer a suggestion possibly they might consider blockout blinds for the bedroom for those who like to sleep in late. We on the other hand were very happy to wake to bird song and the dawns early light. We loved everything.

Hosts of property are very kind, helpful. They kept and maintained property very well. Property is in the local neighbourhood where you will find lots of swiss chalets and local people and we really liked the fact that we got a chance to stay around local people and in traditional swiss chalet. I would definately recommend to stay here.

Barbara and Jorg were like our parents. Took good care and also picked up and dropped us at the train station. They were very kind, and we felt like staying home away from home. The kitchen and utensils were immaculate. The dishwasher was a bonus as we like to cook. There are plenty of other groceries like sugar and salt coffee, dishwasher tablets, cleaning stuff etc. Migros, the train and bus station is just 5 mins away. Balcony has amazing views of the mountains. Super comfy 🙂

The house is very clean, spacious, and well-equipped. The location is excellent. It's very easy to reach attractions by train. The hosts are extremely friendly, and we really enjoyed chatting with them. When I come back to Switzerland in the summer, I will definitely book again.

The apartment was super comfortable and super clean. Very comfortable beds and well-equipped kitchen. It is just a 5-minute walk from the train station in a very quiet neighborhood. The owners are very friendly, attentive and helpful people. I definitely recommend this property.

The chalet location is nearby the other attractions areas such Grindelwald ( 15 minutes ) , Lauterbrunnen ( 15 Minutes ) Brienz ( 25 minutes ) Interlaken ( 5 minutes) and other areas. Also, train station by feet 5 minutes.

I felt I am in home, every thing is available for us. Full kitchen stuff, international TV channels, amazing view from the balcony & summer discount card for the activities nearby interlaken.

We really liked Barbara's and Jorg's attention to details. Every need was catered for. All the facilities were easy to find and use. The place is spacious, with lot of natural lighting, and very clean (including all the kitchen utensils). The owners are so friendly and they took extra miles to take care of us (like fetching us and taking us to the train station, chocolates in the fridge, etc). The surrounding is peaceful and felt very safe. The train station and grocery store are only a short walk away.

We felt that the place could improved if there is an option for firmer pillows and block out curtain in the bedroom.

This beautiful and cozy apartment was located in the picturesque village of Wilderswil with beautiful scenery and even cows just down the road! A great base location to explore the surrounding areas. We would love to live here full time! Thank you to our exceptional hosts for a wonderful stay.

We really appreciated this. The chalet was cozy, very clean and relaxed. The area is so peaceful. We throughly enjoyed sitting on the balcony each day listening to the birds chirping around us. A brilliant stay and we would definitely recommend.
