The flat is in a lovely location; you can see the lake from some of the windows.

The flat looks good in the online listing, but when you’re there, you can see that it’s showing its age: The sofa and armchairs are quite worn A few of the grout lines in the shower have turned black The Location is right by the road, it can get quite noisy during the day. The flat also doesn’t have air conditioning, that is a serious drawback in Summer

Mattresses and pillows were uncomfortable

We stayed here with our family from June 25 to June 27 and had a wonderful experience. The apartment is located in a charming historic building right on the shores of Lake Como. It is spacious, comfortable, and full of character. The beds were very comfortable, and having two bathrooms with two showers made it perfect for our family of four. The large rooms, private secure garage, and well-equipped apartment made our stay easy and enjoyable. The highlight is the breathtaking location directly on the lake, with stunning panoramic views and a private dock just steps away. The hosts were welcoming, everything was exactly as described, and we truly enjoyed our stay. We would happily recommend this apartment and would love to return in the future.

The only things we missed during our summer stay in June were air conditioning and a washing machine. The weather was very hot, so air conditioning would have made the stay much more comfortable.

Cazarea este amplasată într-o locație deosebită, chiar pe malul lacului.Cele doua garaje ai fost un avantaj doar ca accesul a fost putin mai greu din cauza strazii inguste. Proprietatea a fost curată, bine întreținută și dotată cu tot ce este necesar pentru un sejur plăcut. Gazdele au fost primitoare și foarte atente la nevoile noastre. Recomand cu încredere această cazare!

Although the agents were very helpful and replied promptly the self check in procedure was inefficient and time consuming. We sent at least 10 emails to register and address all the problems Other accommodation we booked was not so complicated Property was adequate but maybe in need of modernisation and redecoration

Singurul lucru care a fost foarte frumos la cazare a fost view ul, superb pot spune Un plus a fost că am avut loc de parcare, apă caldă și lenjerii curate

Foarte mare mizerie in apartament, ne lipeam cu picioarele de podea, a trebuit să aspiram pentru a fi cat de cat decent, dar chiar și așa, a fost murdar. In una dintre camere era igrasie pe pereți și miros puternic de mucegai iar în cea de a doua camera pe pat era pus doar un topper, fara saltea. Nici la bai nu era curățenie, ba chiar unul dintre wc uri era murdar, la fel și canapeaua din living. Singurul loc unde te simțeai confortabil era în dormitor, in pat, acolo era curat. Este mare păcat că la o asemenea amplasare cu un View frumos, curățenia sa lase de dorit.

One of the mattresses was not very comfortable, but overall the stay was excellent.

Nothing about the property but the procedure for self check in is time consuming and they don’t seem to offer direct check in

The location is honestly unbeatable. Being so close to the ferry, bus stop, and some great local restaurants made everything so easy. Having a private garage was a massive bonus too. Also, even though we only talked over WhatsApp, the staff were super helpful and always quick to reply.

I have to be honest—the apartment looks much better in the photos than it does in real life. It feels quite old and it is clear that it hasn't been updated in a long time. The main problem was the smell; it had that heavy, stale odor you often find in old, damp buildings. We tried to air out the rooms every single day, but the smell just stayed there. It was also really disappointing to see mold on the bathroom tiles, which made us feel like the cleaning was not done properly. To make matters worse, the internet was so slow that it was basically impossible to use, so I had to rely on my mobile data for the entire stay.

Unfortunately, this apartment was a disappointment. Although the street itself isn’t particularly busy, it still gets quite loud at night—especially since you need to keep the window open, otherwise the room becomes uncomfortably stuffy. The bedroom also had a noticeable moldy smell, which made it unpleasant to sleep. On top of that, the mattresses were very hard and uncomfortable. Overall, the apartment looks much nicer in the photos than it does in reality. Considering the price, it was definitely not worth it.

Удобный бесконтактный заезд и выезд, понятные инструкции, персонал несколько раз писал, уточняя нужно ли что-то или добрались ли мы. Вилла достаточно просторная, ухоженная. Удобные кровати, чистое белье. Прекрасный вид из окна, вилла расположена на берегу. Достоинством был гараж, где мы могли оставлять машину. Есть принадлежности для ванной, посуда, кофемашина, чайник, тостер, микроволновка. Спасибо.

Нам иногда нехватало занавесок, хотя вилла и выше дороги. Было бы отлично иметь какие-то губки, или тряпочки для того чтобы мыть посуду, или вытирать со стола. Простые специи как соль и сахар, было бы супер. Проблема с розетками, у нас в комнате не было розеток, и только несколько на кухне. Это не критично, это рекомендации к более комфортному отдыху) В целом все было супер.

The apartment is located in a nice and quiet small city, very close to the ferry for taking the boat to visit the nice spots from lake Como. I received messages with all info for getting the keys, entering the garage and all needed so that the stay would be as nice and smooth as possible. The communication was fast. We received a bag with pasta - thanks. The rooms were clean, we had clean towels, shampoo and shower gel. We wanted more heat in the rooms and it was solved quicky. we hope to return soon.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo splendido appartamento a Carate Urio per 3 notti con la nostra famiglia, e l’esperienza è stata semplicemente meravigliosa. La vista è qualcosa di spettacolare, difficile da descrivere a parole. L’appartamento è curato, accogliente e dotato davvero di tutto il necessario per sentirsi come a casa, se non meglio. Abbiamo apprezzato tantissimo anche il garage privato, comodissimo, e la posizione: tranquilla, rilassante, ma allo stesso tempo con ottimi locali nei dintorni. Un ringraziamento speciale anche per la disponibilità e la gentilezza dimostrata: il check-in anticipato è stato davvero molto apprezzato e ha reso il nostro arrivo ancora più piacevole. Siamo stati davvero bene, felici e rilassati… ed è uno di quei posti dove torneremmo (e torneremo) senza pensarci due volte. Se proprio vogliamo trovare qualche piccolo spunto per migliorare ulteriormente un’esperienza già eccellente: il telecomando della TV (non quello di amazon) potrebbe essere sostituito perché non sempre risponde bene, la poltrona in soggiorno era davvero impossibile da utilizzare e, considerando che l’appartamento è perfetto per 4 persone, sarebbe fantastico avere magari un paio di poltrone comode difronte lo splendido divano per godersi ancora meglio i momenti di relax tutti insieme (anche perché il divano è davvero comodissimo!). Inoltre, uno specchio a figura intera sarebbe un’ottima aggiunta (se magari si va in qualche locale importante sarebbe bello specchiarsi per intero), e una piccola risanata al muro della camera interna renderebbe tutto ancora più impeccabile. Dettagli davvero minimi, in un soggiorno che è stato già perfetto così ma che speriamo di trovare quando ritorneremo, sarebbe davvero un sogno, sarebbe davvero l'appartamento perfetto. Grazie ancora per averci fatto vivere questa bellissima esperienza: ci rivediamo presto!

Procédure de fast check-in fastidieuse et sollicitation, relances sans arrêt de l'agence en direct pour obtenir des documents et signature de contrat alors que notre prestataire était Booking. Beaucoup d'énergie et de temps consacré à répondre à l'agence en amont et pendant le séjour. Déplacement obligé à l'agence sur place pour payer la taxe, personnel incompétent nous ayant dirigés vers la mairie pour le paiement de cette taxe alors qu'il fallait en fait payer à l'agence par carte bancaire après nous avoir auparavant demandé de faire un virement bancaire, instructions contradictoires sans arrêt, perte de temps. Logement ancien, équipements usés, mobilier très vieux, très inconfortable à remplacer. Cuisine mal équipée. Literie dans une des chambres horribles, matelas très fin. Dans la deuxième chambre murs sâles, mini fenêtre, claustrophobes s'abstenir. Vaisselle insuffisante, avons dû demander des tasses +draps de bain manquants pour 2 personnes. Sols des salles de bain sales, 1 lunette de WC mal fixée, 1 sèche-cheveux fourni non adapté à la prise de courant italienne donc inutilisable, impossible de brancher une plancha de 1500 watt car pas assez de force électrique. Porte du freezer du frigo cassé ne se fermant pas. Voisins au-dessus de la chambre à gauche très bruyants à partir de 6h jusqu'à 9-10h du matin : bruit incessant des douches, lavabos et des WC car très mal insonorisé

Местоположение , вид из окна , легко попали в квартиру, дружелюбный хозяин

Утюг работал не корректно, отсутствовала стиральная машина , кресло было сломанным .

Telpu plašums, iekārtojums. Atrašanās vieta, bija īres mašīna tāpēc atrašanās vieta bija ērta. Ir autostāvvieta ( garāža kurā noparkoties ir nedaudz sarežģiti) bet Itālijai ierasti😀. Patika, ka ir divas vannasistabas.

An excellent property with beautiful views of lake Como. A number of very good restaurants and wine bars within easy walk. The Urio ferry wharf is a 2 minute walk allowing regular and very easy access to Como or further up lake such as Bellagio. Would highly recommend, and especially with a car. The property has an excellent secured garage for a vehicle, and plenty of room in the garage for packing and unpacking luggage.

The wifi could be improved, at times it did not exist.

Uitzicht

Niet schoon bij aankomst. Op schoonmakers moeten wachten na een lange reis. Sleutel werkte niet ( dag 2 geruild) Kapotte stoel in woonkamer. Geen airco. 3 van de 5 blowers waren kapot (geruild ook) Geen buitenruimte. Kapotte stofzuiger.

Pas de magasin alimentaire à proximité. Mais il suffit de le savoir pour s’arrêter juste au village d’avant ou il y a un supermarché

The apartment is very well located, nearby there are several small bistros and picturesque restaurants. The locality is lovely, quiet, lush vegetation, and the local stone alleys are picturesque. You will find everything you need in the apartment, really anything. No air conditioning, but we were lucky with the weather, it was enough to keep the windows open. Access to the building and garage was easy and it was very good that we were able to check in until 11pm, maybe even a little later.

We found an invoice from clients who used the apartment before us.

Great location, spacious rooms, two bathrooms, parking. Very convenient and nice. Staff was very helpful and friendly, answering our texts within seconds.

Not properly cleaned, house had a smell, maybe it was a one time thing. Wifi not good, Internet was very slow.

The views of the lake

Great place but they need to put better Internet and the garage is very tight. They are very strict to check out time.

Great value for the price. Good separation of the rooms, ideal for 2 couples or family. Two bathrooms. Garage is great to have. Next to the lake and 2 minutes from the boat station. Peaceful environment. We liked the interactive site with all the useful info and map.

Check in was a bit confusing with the paper work. Could have been coffee filter in the kitchen. Beds are a bit too used.

Bathrooms were renovated and very clean. The host was reachable and very helpful.

The garage was very hard to park in and get out as the street was very narrow. Also, You need keys to get in to the garage, and need someone's help to do so. This made it complicated too. Could have been automatic. Secondly, the bed rooms are very old, one bedroom has view of an old building under construction and the other one has no proper windows. Thirdly the fans in the rooms are old, hardly work, inadequate and super noisy, very hard to sleep in. The hotel is very far from touristic sites. The kitchen has every amenity you need to cook etc but there's no single water bottle to drink water when your thirsty. Oh and the wifi was very bad. The sofas in the living room are very old too needs renovation I believe.

Cosy apartment. Nice with the two bathrooms when you're a family of four. Liked that the parking is in a garage! Good information from the host and they replyed quickly. We were glad there were portable fans in the apartment. Nice view from the windows over Lake Como.!

No air condition. More traffic than I expected outside the building.

Nice cozy and comfortable apartment in a very nice location close to Como by car 20min.

Unfortunately the property doesn’t have good signal and the WiFi connection was very bad and many times not working at all.

Perfect location, nice host and easy check in, huge private parking place. With the app we get all the informatins about the village and abut the apartment. Easy communication with the host.

Bit shabby.

This apartment is all about the view. If you are after an off-the-beaten-path view of Lake Como, this is for you. It was easy to check in and check out, and the apartment was clean.

I would recommend a car to get around. Even though there is a bus and lake taxi stop just a few steps away, the schedule is limited and may depend on holidays, and other events on it's reliability. Carate Urio has some rules regarding White Taxi Service that leave getting a hired car a little tricky.
