Ridmi Home Stay

Four of us- two closely related couples-had a short but wonderful stay at Ridmi’s apartment. The ambience was excellent, and the location, maintenance, and overall cleanliness of the property were all outstanding. The air-conditioning worked perfectly, and the level of comfort we enjoyed was exceptional for the value we received. Special appreciation goes to the owner for her warm hospitality and easy-going approach with guests, which made our stay even more pleasant. Overall, the apartment was truly impressive We sincerely hope that future guests will also support the host in maintaining and further enhancing the quality of this service. I had an amazing stay at this home stay. The host was incredibly welcoming and made sure every detail was perfect. The location was ideal, close to key attractions yet peaceful enough for a relaxing retreat. Newly constructed building and Great value for money, offering a comfortable stay at an affordable price. The cleanliness was impeccable. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making us feel right at home. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a cozy and enjoyable getaway!

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is excellent—close to the zoo and situated in a very safe area. There is the kitchen, which guests are allowed to use, making it convenient for families. A special mention goes to Ms. Ridmi, one of the kindest and most helpful girl I’ve ever met. She was incredibly supportive during our stay. When I requested a bucket and a clothes rack for my family, she provided them immediately without hesitation. Her warm and caring attitude truly made a difference. No hot water facilities. Other than everything was superb Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay. It was a real pleasure meeting Ms. Ridmi. Thank you so much!

We arrived at 4.30am, the owner awaited for us and walked out on the road to guide the driver to find the place. She also send me a text message with the Google direction to go to the department of motor traffic fo get my driving permit. She carried our luggage and helped me with my son. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. She was very willing to help us.

The place was good and safe for a family stay equipped with a small pantry facility u get a microwave inclusive which was very helpful during our Stay. But the best part of this place is the owner,she was very helpful in every Way I never felt like I am at someone else's place felt like I am at my home and very safe. I will pick this place for my next trip too because it was that good specially felt safe for my family. Even she approved a late checkout request without any additional charges.

Ridmika was wonderful, and Ridmi Homestay was a super comfortable, convenient, clean place to stay while we had to do some work in Colombo. The place has all the facilities, is spacious and welcoming. Highly recommend, and will definitely be returning.

Ridmi was very accommodating and kindly let me check in and check out late at no additional cost. The location is excellent and peaceful near the zoo and Mount Lavinia, plus the train station to get into Colombo. The bed was very comfortable as was the space. Recommended!

Very nice place, a little bit outside of the city, but for us it was an advantage. The neighbourhood was quiet and not as chaotic as the center of Colombo. There were shops and places to eat arround and it was very easy to get to a really nice beach. The owners are great people. They were very friendly and helpful with everything. They even let us check in super early. We really appreciate it, cause we were very tired after long flight. It's a great place to stay for a very good price.

Ridmika - the host was super helpful, organized everything and more. She even helped us to get to the railway station, after all the taxis rejected us due to short distance small profit journey. The rooms were super clean, very spacey and cozy. Met our expectations at maximum level. It was very enjoyable stay. Thanks to shiny Ridmika 🙏 God bless you!

The most important thing for me was that the accommodation was close to the zoo and I was able to check in early - before 6 am. The accommodation is simple, there is no hot water, but everything is clean. If you need it, you can also cook. The host was very nice.

The location was excellent and easily accessible. All the equipment and kitchen amenities were exactly as described. Additionally, the host was accommodating and provided everything we requested.

There was some construction on the 3rd floor of the building. Two construction guys were there at night as well, but the host didn't inform us before we checked in.

It's a nice place close to the zoo which I recommend to visit to everyone 😁 The host is so kind and helpful. We had everything we needed 😌 It was very easy check in process and the apartment is really big!

1) The place was clean and tidy! 2) The Wi-Fi worked well! 3) The kitchen was fully equipped with essentials like a microwave, a large fridge (with no strange odors), and an electric stove—amenities you usually don’t find in hotels! 4) Each room had its own private bathroom! (The only downside was the lack of a water heater in the shower, but the owner mentioned they're installing it soon!) 5) The air conditioning was excellent! 6) The living room, bedrooms and bathrooms were very spacious! 7) The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful!

NONE!!! In fact, they're expanding with a few more floors, so there were some light construction noises during the day, acceptable for us and we had no issues at night.

Quiet Place.Comfortable money worthy place for stay at colombo.

We were just passing through Colombo, and this was a perfect stopover point for us. It is located close to the Zoo but the neighborhood is relatively calm. You can easily park at least 2 cars within the premises. The 2-story apartment has its own entrance and is very well maintained. It was spacious and clean. The host was very cooperative and friendly.

It is very decent place and very pleasant human being specialy owner and her husband. Rooms were very clean. Facilities such as A/C, Bathrooms, Kitchen were exceptional.

Location was fantastic, owner was extremely friendly and helpful. Place was clean, very spacious and great facilities. Easily enough space for 2 couples or 4 friends.

No hot water, but Sri Lanka is so hot regardless it was a nice refreshing shower.
