Reviewed Jun 5, 2026Highly recommended.The appartment, located rigth in the hub, tucked away in a quiet side street is a few minutes walk from both local beaches and shops. The appartments are generously seized, not cluttered with unnecessary furniture yet provides what is requiered. It is meticulously clean. The host family is very friendly and present. Added bonus the prestine swimming pool.

Имеется всё необходимое для комфортного проживания: стиральная машина, большой холодильник с морозилкой, чайник, микроволновка, газовая плита (без духовки), телевизор, кондиционер и потолочные вентиляторы, утюг с гладильной доской (по запросу), шкаф для одежды с вешалками; вся необходимая посуда; двуспальная кровать; диван в гостиной; предоставляют полотенца пляжные и банные. Плюсы: хорошее расположение (до пляжа и до супермаркета спокойным шагом идти 5 мин.); парковка; бассейн, видеонаблюдение; большой современный телевизор с YouTube 👍; интернет с хорошей скоростью. Уборка апартаментов 1 раз в неделю + замена постельного белья + замена полотенец. Хозяева очень гостеприимные и отзывчивые. Мы обязательно ещё вернемся)

Reviewed Nov 8, 2025L'emplacement est vraiment très bien : à droite proche de la plage, à gauche proche du supermarché bon marché par rapport au super U de Grand Baie. Les propriétaires sont très aimables. Le ménage compris dans la location fait tous les cinq jours est très appréciable. Le lieu est relativement calme. L'appartement est très lumineux et comporte le nécessaire. Il est de taille correcte. Les arrêts de bus sont proches aussi.
Les rideaux pourraient être occultants dans la chambre afin de ne pas être réveillé le matin par le soleil. Je recommande cet appartement néanmoins malgré cet inconvénient qui peut être remédié par un masque de nuit.

Reviewed Jul 5, 2025The location is really good, just a 5-minute walk from the beach. The owners are very nice, and check-in is possible early, which is great after a night flight. There are enough parking spaces in front of the apartment.
It's okay that everything in the apartment is old (furniture, bathroom, and kitchen equipment), as it's not an expensive place. However, the main issue is that the apartment was only superficially cleaned before our arrival. There is dust and dirt in all the corners, and it's better not to open the curtains because the windows are full of dust and cobwebs. The microwave is unusable (see picture).

Poor maintenance of unit, non functional doors in rooms, kitchen fan not working, wifi not working, bateries missing from ac remote,mould on bathroom wall, swimming pool water not clean, no strainer in sink and many others to list Booking incorrect description of property. Owner lives in same building on top floor and owner does what they want i.e making noise and use it for it their catering services Owner insisted booking refers to their unit as rama villa 1, rama villa 2 etc when there is no such thing on booking Booking description refers to property as entire unit wheelchair access when there is only stairs and only ground floor with difficulty will be suitable for wheelchar Owner has a disdan/dislike for mauritian and the lady was really rude to critise mauritians and blame them for runinng the unit when being the owner she should have maintained This recommendation of this property was provided by a friend who went there in 2020 but in 4 years there has been lot of changes and the fact that booking has incorrect description of property did not help it.

We had problems checking in, although that's partly our fault as we were late arriving. The owner's phone doesn't work unless he's at home so we weren't able to communicate for hours. Just make sure to arrange an arrival time in advance and be there on time.

There are some restaurants and shops nearby. WiFi connection was decent. I worked with my computer during my stay. They arrange transfer service for you. Good AC.
Ants. Can’t leave any food out of the fridge because in a blink it won’t be yours anymore. You will be in Africa, I guess it’s pretty normal. I spent other nights in exclusive hotels and they have similar troubles.

The appartment was very clean and fully equipped with washing machine, fridge/freezer microwave and kettle plus sheets and towels. Very close to beach and bus stop. Would recommend.

Reviewed Jul 28, 2023The location is perfect. It is very near to the beach, supermarket and restaurants. The place has ample of parking space. All amenities are present as mentioned. The hosts were very warm and welcoming. Best part was the seating arrangement outside each apartment.
Basic cooking essentials like salt, spices etc should be provided as tourists coming for a few days have to buy them. The lighting in the rooms and hall was very dim. Single, low voltage bulbs were given in rooms which kind of brought down the ambience of the whole place.
