L'accueil réservé par Thierry et son épouse était parfait dans un mélange subtil entre autonomie et proximité en cas de besoin. La chambre est très bien équipée, bien isolée avec un joli espace extérieur. Les amoureux de l'océan et de ceux qui le peuplent pourront trouver une oreille attentive auprès des hôtes

Todo fue genial, la ubicación excelente, especialmente para ver ballenas y delfines, pero está cerca de flic en flac, tamarin, etc. Habia leido reseñas que decia que necesitas coche si o si, es cierto que es más cómodo, pero también se puede ir andando a los sitios! Hay muy buenos restaurantes cerca: como nos recomendó Marie La Flame Kreol y también Cheesy Latte a los que se puede llegar andando y paseando por el pueblo. Los desayunos increibles. También nos gustó mucho el jardín tan cuidado y la piscina, y la ducha al aire libre!! Todo fue genial!! Si volvemos a Mauricio seguro repetimos!

Le logement est mal insonorisé, il est facile d'entendre les conversations et d'autant plus quand une soirée à lieu lorsque nous y séjournons. Manque de discrétion vis-à-vis des clients. Imposer un horaire de petit déjeuner à 7H pour rdv perso, c'est exagéré.

Marie et Thierry sont des hôtes tres attachants et conviviaux, le lieu est magnifique, au calme tres bien situé avec de bons restaurants/take away aux alentours. Superbe sejour!

Wunderschöne Unterkunft, perfekt ausgestattet, sehr herzliche Gastgeber, ein liebevoll zubereitetes und leckeres Frühstück sowie eine ideale Lage, um das schöne Mauritius zu erkunden. Sehr empfehlenswert :)

Náš pobyt na Mauriciu byl opravdu výjimečný. Ubytování vlastní velice příjemný francouzský pár, který vše dělá srdcem a je to vidět. Opravdu nadstandardně vybavené pokoje, skvělé domácí snídaně a milí hostitelé.

Postel trochu vrzala, ale nic, co by se nedalo zvládnout.

Super guesthouse ! Marie et Thierry sont extrêmement accueillants, disponibles et toujours de bon conseil pour découvrir les alentours. Mention spéciale pour l’excellent petit déjeuner et la douche extérieure, un vrai plus.

Комната, кухня и большая ванная в доме, где живут и хозяева. Не уверена, что кроме этой комнаты есть другие номера. Шикарный завтрак. Изумительная с любовью и вниманием к деталям обстановка. Помогли с экскурсиями. Пляжа рядом нет, но очень удобно для поездок на китах и тд, в 5 минутах ходьбы точка отплытия, что особенно удобно в 5 утра. Прекрасный бассейн. Зеленая территория. Как дача или загородный дом. Утром петухи и птички)

В один из вечеров к хозяевам видимо приехали друзья/родственники, болтали долго сидели, было слышно, нам надо было утром вставать к китам, это немного расстроило. Но в целом, место просто потрясающее, тихое, спокойное.

Sehr nette Gastgebende, saubere Zimmer und wunderbares Frühstück. Den einladenden Swimmingpool im schönen Garten haben wir gerne täglich benützt. Man benötigt ein Auto, da der nahe Strand nicht zum Baden geeignet ist.

Einzig das quitschende Bett hat uns etwas gestört.

La chambre est très agréable et la salle de bains super spacieuse ! Il y a de la place pour ranger les affaires. Mention spéciale pour la douche extérieure qui est vraiment chouette. Nous avons été très bien accueillis et avons apprécié les conseils de nos hôtes ! Le petit déjeuner est un régal en plus d’être très copieux. Merci !

Das Bett hat ziemlich gequitsch wen sich jemand bewegt hat. Ansonsten gab es nichts zu bemängeln.

La chambre était très confortable et spacieuse, un grand lit avec un bon matelas qui permet d’avoir de l’air et bien se reposer. La cuisine et la petite terrasse du studio étaient très agréables et fonctionnelles, il y a vraiment tout ce qu’il faut. Nous avons adoré les petits déjeuners de Marie devant la belle piscine, varié et coloré ! Un moment d’échange aussi avec nos hôtes qui étaient d’une extrême gentillesse.

Host were amazing and so was the breakfast. The place was beautifully clean.

Thierry ist ein sehr hilfsbereiter und freundlicher Gasrgeber. Die Unterlunft ist sehr gemptlich und ausserordentlich gut und liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir durften auch den Pool und den Garten benutzen.

The only place we were allowed to smoke was not very convenient and in front of the owners terrace with little cover during rains.

Marie und Thierry haben die Ausstattung sehr dem Bedarf der Gäste angepasst. Sie standen uns bei Bedarf stets mit Rat und Tat bei unserem 14-tägigem Aufenthalt zur Seite. Die Unterkunft war sauber und gemütlich. Die überdachte Aussenküche für uns bestens ausgestattet. Da wir oft im Meer schwimmen waren, hatten wir den Pool, der sich im Garten von Marie und Thierry befindet nicht genutzt. Wenn wir nach Mauritius zurückkommen, würden wir jederzeit wieder das Sweet Island Studio Ocean wählen.

Kleine Oase hinter den Mauern! Toller Garten, toller Pool! Wohnung geschmackvoll eingerichtet! Hilfsbereite Vermieter, die ebenfalls im Haus leben! Aber man fühlt sich keinen Moment beobachtet! Von Außen nicht zu erahnen! Es lädt zum Verweilen ein! Außendusche war super, Whirlpool etwas klein! Tolles Frühstück! Wir würden wieder kommen!

Man braucht ein Auto, in der direkten Umgebung ist fußläufig nicht viel zu machen! Für uns aber kein Problem! Bett knarrte bei jeder Bewegung!

Obiekt położony w spokojnej okolicy. Bardzo czysty. Podczas naszego dłuższego pobytu, kilkukrotnie zmieniano nam pościel i ręczniki. Bardzo za to dziękujemy. Lokalizacja idealna, blisko do wielu atrakcji, które oferuje wyspa (najpiękniejsze plaże, wodospady, park narodowy) Gospodarze są bardzo sympatyczni, radośni. Bardzo dobre śniadania ( owoce, warzywa, jajka, pyszne bagietki) w lodówce woda do picia codziennie uzupełniana. Basen codziennie czyszczony i bardzo przyjemny ogród.

Nos gustó mucho lo tranquilo que era el lugar )9 que nos permitió descansar en condiciones. Además teníamos una cocina completamente equipada, lo que nos permitió poder tener la libertad de poder cocinar y organizarnos como quisieramos.

Nous avons eu le privilège de séjourner quelques jours dans le studio de Sweet Island. Le logement de nos hôtes est un petit paradis! La cadre est dépaysant et relaxant, tout est très bien entretenu. Le studio sent toujours bon et est tirer à quatre épingles, c’est un plaisir. Que dire du petit déjeuner chaque matin… il était extrêmement bon et rassasiant!! Nos hôtes ont été aux petits soins; bienveillants et prévenants! Ils sont très gentils et vous donneront leurs conseils pour vous rendre votre séjour plaisant; tout en préservant votre intimité. Ils veulent que vous vous sentiez comme chez vous!

It has a nice garden with great pool. Good location for many trips in Mauritius. The host was very kind. Always asking if everything is fine and if we need anything. She sent us a bracelet that my wife forgot at the apartment.

Séjour de 2 semaines particulièrement réussi. Accueil chaleureux de Marie et Thierry. Nous avons tout apprécié. Le studio avec son accès indépendant et son jardin privatif. Le parking à quelques mètres. L'accès au superbe jardin de la maison et à la piscine. La chambre spacieuse et bien décorée : literie confortable, clim, ventilateur, wifi performante. La cuisine bien équipée et ouverte vers l'extérieur. J'allais oublier : les visites discrètes mais régulières de Ti-Baba, le chat de la maison. En prime, superbes couchers de soleil à 3 minutes à pied.

Lovely, spacious accommodation. Large airy bedroom and huge bathroom with his and hers sinks, shower and jacuzzi bath leading to a large outdoor shower with hot and cold taps! Hot water was always plentiful. The hosts, Marie and Thierry, were friendly and welcoming, even lending me a bike to explore. Beautiful private garden and amazing swimming pool. We stayed for three nights and had a varied breakfast each morning cooked by Marie, including juice, eggs, ham, salad, fresh bread, homemade jam, pastries and a fruit platter each with many different varieties of fruit, beautifully presented. Coffee machine and a microwave in the small kitchen to make your own drinks. Lots of filtered water in glass bottles provided to save buying plastic bottles. Very quiet, peaceful location. Fantastic Italian restaurant within a 10 minute walk, Il Padrino, where the waiters were amazing and the food was great. Close to a local beach.

Very poor breakfast !!! One egg for person , no vegetables, same breakfast every day for one week. After we asked for vegetables, one small tomato cut in half

Location : in the middle of nowhere, beach 4 km away /: the lady owner , obsessed of order , enter every day in the room ; even we asked not to , throw away fruits , change place of our stuffs, like we are in kindergarten! He was rude ,impolite , in the last day he asked not smoking in the garden , after five days that it was allowed. Almost violent when we continue

Filtered water - great air conditioning.

Shared pool - the property consists of 3 properties. The owner lives in one property, they all surround the pool so not as private as we thought. Tourist info pack would be helpful as to where to eat visit etc.

Lovely spot, beautifully decorated room. Spacious with separate room for kettle/fridge and more. Great breakfast, especially appreciated the fresh fruit. Tranquil garden and swimming pool area.

Room was well air-conned. The separate "kitchenette" room got a bit warm though, would've been nice with a fan there. The list of amenities includes a laundry machine, no such was available. Asked and got a firm no.

The property lies in an authentic area near a small beach but also near beautiful la Preneuse beach. It is run by a very nice couple, the were really helpful and kind. The room and the bathroom (both inside and outside) are extremely clean, the garden is beautiful and the pool is clean and quite big. The beds were comfortable, breakfast was excellent, with a lot of fresh fruits. Thierry managed to us to see dolphins and whales, it was an absolutely unique and special experience!

We liked everything

We stayed at Sweet Island for 3 nights and had a fantastic time. Marie and Thierry were very accommodating, the breakfast every morning was delicious, the swimming pool was amazing, and the whole atmosphere was really relaxing. The place is a very nice size with a large bathroom and really nice set of showers. The area has a bunch of nice restaurants close by and a marina that offers excursions.

The room was very cozy, beautiful furniture, had a large outdoor private space as well, the bathroom is HUGE, with jacuzzi, two sinks, two showers (one indoor one outdoor), there is also a kitchenette with kettle, fridge, dishes and all you need to have some food.. Thierry and his wife are wonderful hosts, ready to help while letting you have your privacy.. and the breakfast was amazing! That homemade jam won't be forgotten. Thank you!

The surrounding area lacks a bit of atmosphere but the best beaches (Flic en Flac and Le Morne) are only 15 minutes drive away. Some beautiful restaurants are in the area tho!

Lovely cosy apartment with all the facilities you need for a short stay. Private garden to relax in after a day out and nice pool . Marie and Thierry really welcoming we enjoyed our 4 nights there.

The accommodation is very spacious, nicely decorated, the attention to detail is noticeable.The pictures are accurate. It is a quiet, safe, intimate place. The bathroom is huge (the biggest bathroom we ever had at an accommodation so far) with bathtub and shower, there is also an outdoor shower that is very nice. There was AC and a fan, WI-Fi worked well. Near the kitchen there is a long hallway with a dressing where you can leave your luggage, inside there is also a safe-deposit box. The garden area is very nice, well taken care of, the pool is not deep, very enjoyable. The host, Thierry welcomed us and showed us everything, he was also very attentive cleaning the pool every day. They also provided filtered water, and this was very important for us, we had 3 bottles of 1 liter in the fridge and could ask for refill every time we needed. There were mosquito repellent tablets in a drawer, also power adapters, thank you for that! Another detail we really appreciated were the beach towels provided, very useful. Breakfast was good, with plenty of fresh fruit which we liked and appreciated, and was served on the terrace at the time we asked. It also contained fresh baguette, scrambled eggs, different types of pastries, butter, a good jam and juice. Nearby there was a beach where locals bathed, access was somewhat rough perhaps due to the cyclone that passed through the island previously, but still nice you could watch the sunset from there. Regarding the location, one definitely needs a car to get around and it's not that hard to find if you have Google Maps for example. It's a strategic location because you can visit almost every attraction in the southern part of the island. As for parking, we left the car on the side of the entrance alley, there was not much traffic.

The bed was quite noisy, every time you turned sides it made a creaking noise;it could be more comfortable also. Regarding the breakfast, yes it was good and plenty, but besides the pastries every day it was the same (we stayed 5 nights). We would have liked them to ask us how we want the eggs for example (boiled, omelet, fried), not just scrambled. Also it would have been nice to have some vegetables/salad besides the eggs (tomatoes, cucumber, lettuce). As a suggestion: savory and variable breakfast in case of longer stays and freshly squeezed juice instead of boxed juice from the supermarket. Without a car, the distance to the restaurants and shopping stores is far, and in the evening the alley/street where the house is located is poorly illuminated, this could be unpleasant. We visited Mauritius in cyclone season, and one day there was a new Level 2 cyclone alert that we found out about at Casela Park that we had booked in advance to visit and they closed the park because of the weather conditions. It would have been nice to receive a heads up from the hosts regarding the alert and "to be cautious out there",since we saw each other every day at breakfast and they knew about the situation. Overall it was a pleasant stay, perhaps a little pricey for a "rainy/low" season, but the conditions and what they offered were good.
