Een warm ontvangt, een vriendelijke gastheer, een gevoel van thuiskomen. Alles was keurig netjes schoon en alles netjes aanwezig. Bij vragen kon je altijd bij hun terecht. Hele mooie omgeving aan de rand van het centrum.

Voor mensen slecht ter been is de trap smal met een draai. Gastheer heeft wel geholpen met de koffers. Super fijn en attent.

Die Lage mitten im Centrum. Die tolle Parkmöglichkeit und und den netten und freundlichen Service.

De locatie, de gastvrijheid en communicatie van de gastheer, het parkeren van de auto en de fietsen.

wir haben zwar die Einfahrt zum Parkplatz nicht auf Anhieb gefunden aber das war nicht schlimm. Man kann ganz gut zuerst im Centrum parkieren, zu Fuss zur Unterkunft gehen und dann kommt der nette Herr gleich mit dem Schlüssel mit und zeigt einem alles. Super freundliche, extrem ruhig, super gute Lage, alles fussläufig erreichbar - einfach Top. Ich würde auf jeden Fall wieder dorthin gehen.

meinem Partner war die Matratze viel zu hart aber das ist halt Geschmacksache aber ansonsten gibt es überhaupt nichts auszusetzen. Top Unterkunft.

Die Lage ist perfekt,wir haben direkt und kostenlos an der Unterkunft parken können, brauchten dann keine weiteren Verkehrsmittel, um die Stadt zu erkunden und auf das Konzert zu kommen. In jedem Zimmer stand ein Lüfter zum Abkühlen der Temperatur, es gibt einen Kühlschrank und frisches Sprudelwasser. Nachts ist es ruhig und man konnte mit geöffnetem Fenster schlafen. Es gibt eine Küche, wenn man selbst eine Kleinigkeit oder Frühstück zubereiten will.

Sehr schönes Appartement in toller Lage, um die Altstadt von Maastricht zu erkunden. Zentral und trotzdem sehr ruhig. Tolle Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe, leckere Restaurants, die vom überaus netten Gastgeber Michael empfohlen worden waren.

Such a great accommodation: very spacious nicely designed and bright room complete kitchen, super comfy shower and bed! We loved the location, right near where you want to be. Also, the parking option for the car was fantastic, very worth the extra bit of money. We enjoyed many restaurants, had great strolls around town and also into the region, it's all so easy to get around and the apartment, and its hosts top it off perfectly.

We really should have stayed longer to enjoy the apartment and the neighborhood even more, and so we will come back in spring of 2026.

Besselaar Apartments is a fantastic choice for a lovely stay in Maastricht! We parked our car in the private car park at the back of the apartment, which is owned by the host — very convenient. From there, we explored the city on foot. The host was wonderful and gave us great recommendations for dinner. We enjoyed breakfast just around the corner at Koffie by Joost and Maartje — highly recommended if you’d like to treat yourself! The apartment is located close to the popular Onze Lieve Vrouweplein and offers a comfortable living room, a well-equipped kitchen, and a spacious bedroom with an adjacent bathroom. We feel there’s still more of Maastricht to discover and would definitely stay here again!

Een modern appartement in een klassiek pand. Comfortabel, rustig en toch op maar een steenworp afstand van het bruisende stadsleven van Maastricht.

El apartamento está muy bien ubicado. En el centro pero a la vez tranquilo. El trato del anfitrión muy bueno y amable.

Zentrale Lage. Gute Ausstattung.

De ligging is super en kan niet beter. Midden in het centrum in de mooiste wijk!

Prima B&B en soort van schattig echter de locatie doet het in deze en niet het appartement. Verouderd, stoffig soort van in elkaar geknutseld. Geen airco dus snik heet in de zomer met het type ‘gordijnen’ die er voor waren geknutseld (te kort en te dun). Bank kun je niet normaal op zitten en helaas deed de tv het niet (echter voor ons geen probleem). Badkamer en bed ook soort van geknutseld. Bed lag prima en badkamer zat alles in echter heel erg klein en geen deur er in.

It was working around a bit with fridge in hallway and no sink in bathroom but a huge good sink in bedroom. View on parking lot but that meant it was quiet.

A spacious apartment in an unbeatable location in the city center, just a 15-minute walk from the station, which offers convenient connections to various destinations, such as direct trains to Aachen and Liège, buses to Tongeren and Hasselt, as well as Flibco buses to Charleroi Airport. The apartment is quiet and has everything you need for a few days' stay in Maastricht. There are plenty of cafes around, and the city's lively atmosphere is enhanced by the abundance of students, as university buildings are nearby. The bathroom is a bit damp, so we recommend drying the towels on the room's heating radiators. It is quite likely though that fixing the bathroom to reduce humidity would most probably be difficult and expensive for the landlords, so please treat this not as a bug but a feature of this overall nice place.

Hosts were super friendly and helpful. Apartment was well laid out and had everything we needed. Bed was comfortable. Situated in a quiet street, right in the middle of the old town. Close to everything. Enjoyed our stay here.

Michael and Linda was attentive to all our needs. The place was so lovely and cozy that we wanted to stay in most of the time :) It was awesome to enjoy their works of art in the place.

The apartment is in a perfect location for walking around and exploring Maastricht. Despite being in the centre the apartment was so quiet. Comfortable beds and everything we needed. Michael, the host answered questions promptly and allowed us to check in early and keep our suitcases till the afternoon of checkout, everything was easy and he was very helpful. Definitely recommending it to friends

The only downside were the stairs

The location was really good. The apartment looked like the photos.😀 Most TV channels are in Dutch- maybe a card with the English options...? Michael, the host, was very friendly and helpful. If we ever came back to Maastricht, we'll definitely stay there again.

We loved the central and lively location; the size of the property was just enough for a couple and a short-stay. Big windows facing a nice street and two bars around the corner adds a great vibe to the appartment. The availability of a parking spot was very convenient.

The tv was a bit small, it wasn’t a smart tv and there was no netflix. The double bed was actually two single beds united so it would ‘fall apart’ into two parts during sleep 😬 lighting of the appartment was a bit ‘poor’

The fridge was out of the apartment. It was alittle bit inconveniencing. The bed was not a double bed but two single beds joined together. Not ideal for couples.

The location was perfect and to have a parking space in Maastricht is a big bonus. It had everything you needed for a comfortable stay and the owners are on site incase of any issues and available at anytime if you need them.

This is a charming, very well appointed and comfortable apartment in the heart of the old quarter of Maastricht. It has been sensitively modernised including excellent kitchen facilities and equipment and the best shower in town! The bedroom has good cupboard space and a comfortable large bed. The location is perfect for visiting Maastricht on foot and secure parking can be provided.. The owners, who live on the premises, are warm, friendly and welcoming and always ready to help

Very central location to the city centre. 15mins walking mins from the train station. The apartment was spotless clean. Great host.

Our host was really friendly, and on hand to meet us to pick up the keys and also for check out despite this being quite early. We had a great information pack covering the city and recommendations. The apartment was as in the photos - it was clean, with everything we needed, and we felt the price was really good for the location and size of the accommodation.
