Southville Stay @ Savanna Executive Suite

We were very disappointed with this accommodation, as it did not match the quality or standard advertised. The following issues were experienced during our stay. The actual list is 26 in total. The owners/managers repeatedly made the same excuses, and repeatedly wvaded all of our list, in fact denying the most simplest and obvious of issues, like broken lights. Read through the past reviews and it has been exactly the same excuses for years. Access & Arrival - Finding the apartment was unnecessarily difficult. The instructions were confusing and relied on understanding the building's numbering system (e.g. B1-21-08), with no practical assistance from the host when clarification was requested. - The property is located within an older, high-density apartment complex rather than what would reasonably be described as an "Executive Suite." The complex houses all types of people, yet no one genuinely smiles, unless there is money in it for them. -There are many shops below the apartment blocks, yet the quality of food of 99% of them is extremely low. Many restaurants preparing, cutting and cooking meats and vegetables in the dirty alleyways behind the restaurants. - The complex is isolated amongst major highways, making access inconvenient. - A toll road is located only a few minutes from the complex, and travelling to central Kuala Lumpur requires passing multiple tolls in each direction. A return trip the centre of Kuala Lumpur will be 3-5 road tolls. To Batu Caves has 6-9 tolls. Building & Common Areas - The hallways and elevators had a strong unpleasant odour. - Communication at the main reception was difficult due to the language barrier. Cleanliness & Hygiene - Both bathrooms had a noticeable mould smell, with visible black mould on the shower water heater, door rails and tiles. - Cockroaches through the kitchen, dining area, bedrooms and bathrooms..

The design and bed is cozy. Will repeat again every room has aircond and veru clean

The owner was very friendly and accommodating. Even though we encountered an issue during our stay, they handled it with trust and kindness, which we truly appreciated. To the previous guest who broke the chair and decided to leave the mess for us to discover — I sincerely hope your day turned out exactly as you deserved. 🤗

I had a great time at this place. The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. It felt very welcoming and peaceful. The host was amazing—very kind and helpful. They were always available if I had questions and made sure I felt at home. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a nice, comfortable place to stay.

The host is very professional and communication with them made easy. The check in and check out process were smooth. The Host even gave us two pass cards.. very thoughtfull. The apartment was well kept. Facilities are good, better than average. Oven, microwave, small stove, fridge, washing machine & dryer, ACs all room ... The location is superb, located just near the PLUS highway with variety of stores around the vaccinity (zus, tealive, speed mart, family mart, etc..). The pool was great. Some comments for improvement: 1. The house has a distinct smell, maybe the host can put some air freshners etc. 2. Hot water for second bathroom not function, but we didnt tell the host since my children donot use them. 3. Some Remote controls have no batteries, bit incovenient. 4. Some furnitures are not well maintained, feels abit anxious about that (afraid we might be blamed for it 😆). Other than that, all are great. Thank you host!

The location was nice, it had everything you needed close by including restaurants, coffee shops, laundromat, mini mart etc. The pool was good too.

We were put in an apartment that had been recently sprayed by the pest control. The smell was extremely strong and made us all feel sick. When I reached out to the owners about the strong smell I was told to open the windows and put the fans on. We did this but the smell was still so bad we couldn’t sleep well and we all woke up feeling terrible. We were going to leave the accomodation early but they offered another apartment in the building block over. That was much better and actually lovely but I can’t believe they didn’t put us there in the first place.

The owners' service was excellent. We were contacted through chat in a really friendly and supportive way. They let us extend our stay because our flight was rescheduled. The apartment was big, with a nice view, and everything we needed was available. The area around the apartment was really nice, with a lot of small restaurants, a supermarket, and everything we needed.

Hmmm, I'm not sure I could mention anything. Maybe only the TV had a smart box, but the Netflix app was not working. It might have been our knowledge of how to start it up.
