El proprietario vino a nuestra llegada, nos enseñó absolutamente todo lo que tenía la casa, en la cocina etc..también vino a despedirnos. Es todo un lujo poder tratar con una persona (y no con un código QR!) y más una persona como Kurt, muy atento y cariñoso. Kurt enseñó a nuestros hijos a pescar y les dejo para todos los días libre uso a sus cañas de pescar, una maravilla. En la cocina hay todo lo necesario para poder cocinar, como en casa!

Reviewed Aug 25, 2026Kurt is an absolute star. He was super-friendly and helpful and even picked us up from the airport when our travel plans had an unexpected change. The apartment was great for two of us and could easily be used by two couples or a family. It was clean, the kitchen was well-equipped and we cooked some meals with no trouble. There were some simple herbs/spices, salt and sugar, etc... The bathroom had a hot, powerful shower and the washer and dryer were very convenient. It was very quiet at night and we both slept well. The TV had an alti box and there was a radio. There were even some small binoculars! The supermarkets and restaurants were about 35-40 minutes walk away. There is even a Normal store in town where I picked up some keto snacks!
Nothing to complain about! The view is of the mountain rather than across the water, but still very nice.

Reviewed Aug 21, 2026La vista sul pontile lascia senza parole. In questa struttura vivi in pieno la tranquillità e la serenità che caratterizzano le Lofoten. L'appartamento è dotato di tutto. I letti sono comodi. Il proprietario è gentile e molto disponibile. Siamo stati benissimo e siamo andati via lasciando un pezzo di cuore in questo meraviglioso appartamento. Non posso che consigliarlo.

Reviewed Jul 17, 2026It’s a great place to stay in Lofoten. It’s close to the trailhead (around 7 minutes walk) and close to supermarket (around 20-25 minutes walk). The owner is very kind and helpful. He showed us how to fish and even shared one of his catches with us. Following his instructions, we caught two fresh fish on a rainy day. We enjoyed our stay very much. I strongly recommend this place!"

Reviewed Jun 26, 2026Struttura alle porte di Svolvaer dotata di tutto e dove ho avuto necessità il proprietario è stato super disponibile, inoltre ci ha dato suggerimenti utili su cosa visitare, in particolare il luogo migliore per vedere il sole di mezzanotte.
Gli ultimi metri di strada sono interessati da dei lavori e ci sono un po' di buche da eviatere. La seconda camera è senza finestra. Cose che nulla tolgono alla struttura.

The property is located in a very nice island with walking distance to the downtown, with amazing view and peaceful surroundings. It offers everything you need to have a wonderful stay in Svolvar. Dichtbij het centrum, dichtbij de hike naar Djevelporten, met mooi uitzicht op Svolvaergeita en Svolvaer. Goede bedden en één slaapkamer die je helemaal donker kon maken (fijn voor ons kind gedurende de middennachtzon).

Reviewed Apr 7, 2026The apartment is located in a quiet and private area just outside Svolvær, with beautiful views of the harbor and surrounding mountains. It’s a great place to relax, and we were even able to see the northern lights easily during our stay. The apartment is well-suited for larger groups, with plenty of space, two bathrooms, and a big, well-equipped kitchen for cooking. The main bathroom is especially spacious, and having both a washing machine and dryer was very helpful for us during our long trip. The host was very kind and helpful, assisting us with check-in when we got a bit confused on arrival, and even surprised us with a fresh frozen cod fish - which turned out to be one of the best meals we had in Norway. The beds were comfortable, and overall the place felt cozy and welcoming.
The shower had a small leak underneath, which could use some fixing. Also, the location can be a bit confusing to find at first, especially when arriving tired or in the dark, so it’s important to follow the instructions carefully. There is no big label outside that this is the apartment / house that you are searching for.

Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the owner, a passionate fisherman, who showed us everything and even surprised us with a wonderful frozen fish he had caught himself. The accommodation has everything you might need for a comfortable stay. It is located just a short walk from the town center, where you can shop for groceries, refuel your car, or book a boat trip from the harbor. Parking is available right next to the apartment, which is very convenient. We were also lucky enough to see the Northern Lights every evening during our four-night stay. We truly felt at home here and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Svolvær.

Reviewed Jan 5, 2026The location is so nice, surrounded by the sea from all sides, 3 min drive to the center. On a clear night you’ll see the northern lights, the property includes a spacious bathroom, plenty of rooms so it would comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests.
The TV screen 😀 which we didn’t really use anyway. We won’t spend our vacation watching TV.

Ottima posizione, padrone di casa eccezionale...ci ha omaggiato dello stoccafisso e salmone pescati da lui veramente eccezionali. Abbiamo addirittura visto l'aurora da casa grazie alla figlia che ci ha avvisato e fatto delle bellissime foto ricordo...se torneremo, sicuramente verremo di nuovo in questa struttura. Veramente consigliata.

We arrived late, but he kindly offered to drive us to the supermarket so we could get our groceries (as everything was closed on Sunday). He even offered to take us to our bus departure point early in the morning. We truly appreciated his kindness and hospitality — we couldn’t have asked for a better host!
