This place is definitely a hidden gem. Of course the view from the balcony is breathtaking but I didn’t expect the apartment itself to be so nice and beautiful. We got the room with the balcony. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The instructions said to call Jorge 1 hour before check in. But when I called, Jorge seemed surprised and said to call after we entered the building. We had trouble finding the elevator from the parking lot so called again and we were provided directions.

We loved the proximity to all the restaurants and wine cellars and having the parking garage attached was a plus.

The room could use a full length mirror. The one mirror in the bathroom just doesn’t function well.

Wow wow location and view from balcony was amazing.

Amazing location with unbelievable views across to Porto. Very well presented apartment with everything you could hope for, including the use of a washing machine and tumble dryer.

Some noise from the bar downstairs and from Metro trains crossing the bridge, but this is to be expected given the location - the amazing view more than made up for it!

Die zentrale Lage ist ein großer Pluspunkt allerdings ist das Zimmer sehr hellhörig und dunkel. Die Ausstattung ist super (mit Küche) allerdings hat es Zimmer wirklich extrem penetrant und unangenehm gerochen. Das hat uns extrem gestört.

하수구 냄새가 너무 심해요. 심각할 정도로. 화장실에서도 나고 방에서도 났어요. 로비 문 열고 들어가자마자 지하실 냄새? 가 심하고 전체적으로 많이 습해요. 체크인 시 왓츠앱으로 하는데 답장이 너무 느려요.

Le logement présentait une TRÈS, TRÈS FORTE odeur d’humidité, ce qui a rendu le séjour particulièrement inconfortable. Le logement que j’ai occupé se situait au rez-de-chaussée, donnant sur une petite ruelle avec un accès à un restaurant. Il était donc difficile de bien aérer, d’autant plus que la fenêtre était très petite. Je ne recommande absolument pas ce logement aux personnes ayant des problèmes respiratoires, notamment de l’asthme, ou qui sont claustrophobes.

Il lato positivo è la posizione super centrale.

La struttura sarebbe da sistemare. Noi alloggiavamo nel piano terra con una porta che da direttamente sull’esterno. La sera fino alle 23 passano le persone per accedere al bar davanti e si sente la musica, non è fastidioso ma la sensazione di sicurezza non è delle migliori.

Die Lage ist unfassbar gut. Die Bar nebenan ist ebenfalls super.

Der Muffige Geruch und die Feuchtigkeit in allen Räumen, nach nicht einmal 24 Stunden war der Kofferinhalt ebenfalls komplett feucht.

The best location in Porto, we keep on coming back to this hotel because of its wonderful view. The apartment is cute and clean and it has everything you need for a good stay. Jorge, the host, is always kind and helpful when checking in.

It can be a bit noisy at night.

Location and the fantastic view. Goosebumps when I entered the apartment. A million times WOW! Not a place to sleep but to experience Porto. I will never forget this place in Porto.

There is not sufficient ventilation which leads to stuffiness and a bad sewage smell. To the extent that we had to close the bathroom door at night to keep the smell out. It is also located just outside a bar which is extremely noisy..

Apartamento amplio con vistas impresionantes al Duero y a Oporto. Está bien equipado, con una cama y almohadas muy cómodas. Se encuentra justo al de una terraza en la que se puede tomar unas copas y con una vistas impresionantes, recomiendo reservar mesa suele estar lleno, la música no molesta. Su ubicación es ideal para visitar las bodegas de Vila Nova de Gaia, así como Oporto, que está justo al otro lado del puente.

Lo único que no me gustó y culpa mía por no mirar bien la situación hay dos apartamentos en la planta baja que no tienen vistas al río. Recomiendo mirarlo bien antes de reservar y reservar los apartamentos con balcón

Ubicación cercana al río Duero y la vista al Puente Luis I. El hotel se encuentra cerca al mirador Jardim do Morro, al teleférico de Gaia y poder pasar el puente por encima y por debajo.

Se sintieron malos olores en la habitación y no tuvimos la vista al rio como era la expectativa desde la habitación.

Manque d’informations sur le prix du parking qui est en supplément, le bruit du métro en journée et que notre appartementn’avait pas de balcon.

Schnelle und unkomplizierte sowie freundliche Kommunikation, großartige Lage! Perfekt, Parkhaus direkt nebendran, sogar ein direkter Zugang vom Parkhaus zur Unterkunft. Blick auf Porto und die Brücke, Rooftop Bar nebenan, die auch kein Problem wegen nächtlicher Ruhe darstellt, da die Musik früh genug aus ist. Die Angestellten der Bar waren so freundlich, dass sie uns spät abends noch zwei kleine Flaschen Wasser geschenkt haben, obwohl die Bar eigentlich gerade zumachte. Das Haus ist toll, noch toller sind natürlich die Apartments weiter oben mit Balkon, aber die waren leider schon ausgebucht. Super Betten, alles sehr sauber und zum Wohlfühlen.

It’s right next to the bridge Ponte Luis and you are able to get very quickly into the center of the city, all the different streets and life is happening right in front of your door step! There’s the basic stuff you need for cooking, towels shampoo and air condition. We’ve been a bit surprised of our room being cleaned during the middle of our stay (nice) - but without us knowing, having left important personal belongings back at the apartment.

Some furniture’s had stains and were quite used, there was an automatic room refresher (empty) which would make sounds every few minutes which bothered us a little bit. We had one of the ground floor apartments and the bed was facing the back of the apartment so we didn’t get any natural light since there was only one window in the front next to the main door in the kitchen area. Unfortunately no window in the bathroom either. During the night you can hear the cars driving over the bridge (it’s quite loud) and there’s a bar right next to the apartment so it can get loud at least till midnight.

The view! I can’t say enough about the view! It was breathtaking. I almost didn’t want to leave the apartment because waking up to that view was absolutely amazing. The apartment was surprisingly quiet given the proximity to the river and the bridge. I slept very comfortably. The unit was very clean and everything was easy to find. We stayed with our 3 children and found the apartment was very kid-friendly. We were right underneath the gondolas which take you to the other end of the river walk. So much to explore and the walk across the bridge to Porto was super easy. We walked the lower bridge and took the funicular to the top.

The stairs were a bit of a hike to get to the building with suitcases but 100% worth it!!

Location next to the bridge gave fantastic views. It also meant we could easily walk and explore both sides of the river.

Having 2 keys would be useful.

Das Apartment hat eine wunderbare Lage, genau bei der Brücke Ponte Luiz I. und neben einer super tollen Bar. Da sowohl die Metro nicht in der Nacht fährt als auch die Bar bereits um 22.00 Uhr schließt, war die Nachtruhe nicht gestört 😉 Die Anweisungen wie man zum Quartier und zu dem Schlüssel kommt waren präzise und problemlos, auch war der Kontakt jederzeit via WhatsApp erreichbar. Die Größe des Apartments war optimal und wir haben gut in den Betten geschlafen 😊

Wenn man das Apartment betritt, bemerkt man einen leicht modrigen Geruch, an dem man sich aber gleich gewöhnt. Es dürfte aufgrund der nahen Lage des Flusses recht feucht sein, daher war auch ein Entfeuchter im Apartment, den wir benutzt haben! Die Küche ist zwar recht gut eingerichtet, jedoch fehlte es an ausreichend Steckdosen, sodass wir immer umstecken mussten. Aber wir haben nur Tee und Kaffee gemacht und nichts gekocht, daher auch kein Problem. Die Bar daneben bietet eh fast alles 😃

The location of this apartment was fantastic! It was also a nice space— bigger than your average hotel room! Nice kitchen area and a modern bathroom.

There was a musty order that was noticeable but did not detour us from staying. It’s an old building. We get it.

Fantastic views, the apartment was spacious and comfortable, the separate bedroom was good and the bed comfortable. The location was outstanding, an easy walk from most attractions. We were pleasantly surprised that the steps weren't much of an issue, despite some reviews, and the lift in the parking buiding was quite helpful in reducing the climb up the hill to the top level of the bridge. It was great having Bite Rooftop bar next door for drinks and light food options, and since it closed quite early there was no noise disturbing our sleep.

The view even from the ground floor apartment was nice, and the location is wonderful for exploring this side of the river. The apartment had everything we needed and we would visit again!

部屋の中にハエが飛んでいた。

La ubicación es buena porque está justo bajo el puente Luis I, pero esto hace que tiemble todo cuando pasa en tranvía cada 5 - 10minutos. Es insoportable el ruido. Insoportable de 6:00 a 1:00.

Hay un bar justo en la puerta de los apartamentos, por lo que el ruido y las risas de la gente del bar suenan por todo el apartamento. Si quieres descansar algún momento de tu viaje NO lo recomiendo. Además, el tranvía pasa justo por encima, por lo que todo tiembla cada 5 - 10 minutos. Es insoportable.

Clean, central, spacious, easy checkin/checkout

The guesthouse has several rooms. Our room was at the bottom right in front of a popular bar with people passing. That's means we could not really open the windows and curtains properly which made the room dark. I don't remember seeing any information about this when I booked. The all other rooms above us had amazing views.

Ein tolles Appartement in zentralster Lage - aber nur für Menschen, die Lärm nicht stört und nur 6-7 Stunden Schlaf brauchen. Die Straßenbahn 8ber die Stahlbrücke ist schon sehr laut, auch das direkt davor befindliche Lokal (Lärm bis 22:30) Dafür ist der Ausblick specktakulär!

Der Lärm ist heftig, der Verwalter ((Jorghe) mürrisch und wenig hilfreich. Warum ich diesen anrufen soll bevor ich ankomme, ist mir nicht klar...

Location- but wouldn't be a good choice for anyone with mobility issues - so many flights of stairs

A very nice, well-located, and spacious apartment. Beautiful views of the Douro River and Porto, even from the bed. Excellent communication with the owner. I will consider this place again next time I visit Porto.

The tram passing on the san luis bridge is a bit noisy but stops from around midnight to around 6am. We got used to it after a while.

Wohnung direkt neben der Brücke Louis, mit Sicht auf die Riviera, vor dem Fenster eine Bar super für einen Sunset-Drink. Wohnung hat alles was man für einen Kurzaufenthalt braucht.

Für Personen mit Gehschwierigkeiten oder im Rollstuhl nicht so geeignet. Anfahrt mit Auto via Parkhaus, dann durch die Barterasse bis zum Gebäude, eher eng und mit Treppen.

Avevo chiesto un check in anticipato per lasciare quanto meno i bagagli. La persona mi ha risposto che mi avrebbe fatto sapere quando la stanza fosse stata pronta, ma non mi ha fatto sapere nulla. Ho chiamato per avere istruzioni sul self check in e ho chiesto per il parcheggio perche sembrava che dall’annuncio fosse incluso o comunque convenzionato. Invece no. Attenzione alle strade per arrivarci in macchina perché sono un po strette.

The location was unbeatable. The mattress was nice and firm, the sheets were upmarket and crisp. the cleanliness was worth mentioning. The kitchen with its appliances and accessories was very good, We could cook all our meals quite comfortably. The dish washer was a bonus. The bathroom was well equipped and very clean. This iconic blue building is quaint, based at the foot of the equally iconic Pont Luiz 1 and it is visible from many vantage points. Going up the hill to the viewpoints and tourist attractions is challenging, not so bad. I even found a parking spot in the steep street just behind the guest house, where I left my rental car for two days without paying,

I would have liked a room with a view. (and a balcony, as the marketing pictures showed.). The trams going over the bridge make a big noise, but thanks to double glazing, the noise is cut out effectively. There is a bar on the doorstep, but the music and laughter is also not disturbing once you close the door.

Vu l’implantation, il est logique d’entendre du bruit de circulation sur le pont. Terrasse devant l’appartement mais à 22h, le bar ferme.

Es gab weder einen Kleiderschrank noch Kommode für die Kleidung, der Kühlschrank kühlte nicht richtig und das Eisfach war vereist und so zugefroren das er nicht nutzbar war. Bei den Bildern bekam man den Eindruck unmittelbaren Blick auf Douro und Brücke zu haben. Was bei meiner Unterkunft ,,OB,, nicht zutraf . Es befindet ganz unten, somit ist eine Terasse mit Zaun unmittelbar vorm Fenster. Die Terasse bietet SitzSitzgelegenheiten an und wird bewirtschaftet . Sie ist auch für externe Besucher geöffnet . Somit laufen ständig Gäste und Besucher vor dem Appartment Fenster vorbei und können hinein schauen. Also mussten die Vorhänge geschlossen bleiben. Während der Öffnungszeiten wir sie teraaase mit Musik beschallt. Dementsprechend hört man die ganze Zeit den Bass. Weiterhin ist ein mobiler Luftentfeuchter Im Zimmer. Lässt man ihn laufen ist das Wasserbehaeltnis zweimal am Tag voll. Die Geräusche die das Gerät macht sind sehr laut.

Der Ausblick und die Lage waren phänomenal.

Die Ausstattung (Geschirr, Messer, Spültabs, Geschirrtuch) könnte besser sein. Wir haben es aber trotzdem auch mit Kleinkind gut geschafft. :-)
