Beach Cove

We stayed at Beach Cove for four nights and had a very enjoyable experience. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location was excellent, with easy access to the beach and beautiful surroundings. We especially enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the opportunity to relax after spending the day exploring the area. Overall, we had a wonderful four-night stay at Beach Cove and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for comfortable accommodation in a great location. We would definitely stay here again. My partner had a birthday during our staying and very nice women from reception gave him a gift - a bottle of champagne and it was so cute from her side 🥰

Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno davvero piacevole. La struttura si trova proprio di fronte al mare, in un contesto tranquillo e rilassante. Le camere sono semplici ma molto pulite, dotate di tutto il necessario, compresa una cucina con utensili. La pulizia viene effettuata ogni giorno. Molto comodo anche il parcheggio interno alla struttura, con la presenza di un guardiano durante la notte. Lo staff è sempre disponibile, gentile e pronto ad assistervi per qualsiasi esigenza. La piccola spiaggia davanti alla struttura è soggetta alle maree, quindi bisogna prestare attenzione agli orari, ma quando le condizioni lo permettono è possibile fare anche un piacevole snorkeling. La posizione è molto comoda: nelle vicinanze, raggiungibili sia a piedi sia in auto, ci sono diversi supermercati e in circa 5 minuti si arriva alla bellissima spiaggia di Beau Vallon, dove si trovano anche diversi chioschi e locali per il take-away. Esperienza assolutamente positiva, consigliato soprattutto a chi cerca tranquillità, mare e relax alle Seychelles!

Wir sind überaus freundlich empfangen worden. Wir wurden persönlich durch die Zimmer begleitet, es wurde alles erklärt und gezeigt. Die Wohnung ist super sauber und ordentlich eingerichtet. Man merkt sofort wie wichtig es dem Besitzer ist, dass sich die Gäste wohlfühlen. Das habe ich selten so erlebt. Die Kommunikation über die booking App lief hervorragend und zeitnah.

Der Strand direkt vor dem Haus eignet sich weniger zum Baden, was aber nicht so schlimm ist. Zu Fuß sind es 19 Minuten zum schönen Strand Beau Vallon. Dafür hat man in der Unterkunft abends seine Ruhe. Security ist auch die ganze Nacht da.

Jeder es unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Kinder konnten die Schildkröten füttern direkt hinter dem Haus. Die Ruhe , der Ausblick und das Riff vor der Tür und der kurze Weg ins Zentrum.

Es stimmte alles von Beginn bis zum Schluss. Die Lage ist einmahlig. Das Bungalow war sehr sauber und es wurde jeden Tag geputzt. Die Betten sehr bequem. Das Riff in der Bucht war schön zum schnorcheln mit vielen Fischen. Der schöne Strand von Beau Vallon ist schnell zu erreichen. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Alt var som forventet og endnu bedre. Skønt område med sin egen lille strand hvor der er virkelig smukt under vandet. Det flotte stet til snorkling. Jane , Max og resten af perdonalet er super venlig og hjælpsom. Tak for en fantastisk oplevelse ❤️.

Location was perfect for us. Bars and restaurants are walkable but feels secluded with the on site beach.

La vue mer, l'accès à la mer, l'équipement complet du logement et surtout les petits plus qui font que le séjour est agréable comme le grand distributeur d'eau gratuit et toujours rempli, la café et le thé fournis, un frigo supplémentaire dans la chambre .... Un supermarché était tout proche.

On pensait que l'accès à la belle grande plage de Beauvallon était plus facile mais il n'y a pas d'accès direct, il faut y accéder par la route mais ce n'est pas un gros problème, 10 minutes de marche maximum.

Die Rezeption hat uns gesagt, dass unser Rückflug wohl annulliert wurde (Iran Krieg). Wir wären umsonst an den Flughafen gefahren, weil Etihad zu spät informiert hat. Unseren Aufenthalt konnten wir sogar spontan verlängern. Tolle Lage auch für Schnorcheln. In kurzer Gehdistanz einfacherer Einstieg (Seeigel) für Schnorcheln und Baden. Sehr aufmerksames und nettes Team.

Hatten etwas Pech mit viel Regen, dafür kann das Beach Cove natürlich nichts.

Bra och boende nära till den lilla lokala stranden, gångavstånd in till centrala Beau Vallon. Boendet var lugnt och skönt. Ett stort plus var personalen, trevliga och mycket hjälpsamma. Vi fick hjälp med bilhyra, transfer och mycket annat. Kommer gärna tillbaks.

Sehr schöne, gepflegte Apartmentanlage in der man sich sofort wohl fühlt. Das gesamte Team war immer super freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Check-in times listed on booking.com were not honored. This was very inconvenient for us. Excuse was that it’s the holiday season…

The hosts were super friendly and assisted us with everything we needed. They provided enough bottled water for the 5 day stay and cleaned the Unit everyday except Sunday.

Everything was perfect. -The hosts are very hospitable -Nice quiet place -5 min walk to the left end of the BV beach if you go through the beach. Maybe a little difficult when it gets hot but the water is refreshing so it makes up for it. There’s a shortcut as well but we preferred the beach route for quicker access. -we were able to get snorkelling equipment with a refundable deposit -better than staying at the overtly crowded hotels at BV like coral strand etc. this is a better alternative far more peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed the nice full moon on one of the nights there. - 1 takeaway right next to the Vimal supermarket for cheap food - 1 grocery shop right next to the property where groceries for bfasts, beers etc available.

L'appartement est très agréable face à la mer. Nous avons été très bien accueillis et avons même eu droit à un repas offert et avons pu quitter la maison à 14h sans frais supplémentaires. Je recommande vivement cette location.

Nice view with comfortable place. And own beach. They offer almost all services like a hotel +car rental. There is a shop and a bus stop next to the place.

Location excellent. A tidal sea which makes snorkelling on the reef possible when high tide. If not a five minute walk to Beau Vallon beach. Bus stop and little shop minutes away.

Our two bedroomed villa Bourgeois had two shower rooms. The shower room on the left of the main door needs to be refurbished/updated.

Se cercate un appartamento dove soggiornare per visitare Mahe, questa struttura è il meglio che potete trovare sia come posizione sia per i servizi che offre. I proprietari sono super disponibili ad aiutarvi in tutto quello di cui avete bisogno. In casa c'è tutto quello che serve, l'appartamento viene pulito e riordinato ogni giorno e offrono kayak gratuitamente. La spiaggetta di fronte ha una barriera corallina molto bella. Se fissate trasferimenti e auto con loro non avrete problemi.

Everything was marvellous! The location, on the beach, with snorkling reef (high tide). Easy paking. Nice restaurants close by. Friendly helpfull staff. Nice rooms with comfy beds. And two tortoises to feed with bananapeel. And, a shower we could use after checkout.

I really enjoyed my stay. The room was cleaned every day, the beds were comfortable, and there’s a kitchen with all the necessary utensils. There’s also a small terrace where you can have breakfast with a sea view. The staff were all very friendly.

Bel Ombre surely is amazing place and the facility we stayed at was also excellent and what I find crucial it was super shiny clean. Hosts are very helpful and friendly, we felt like kings there. I hope to come back soon.

We were met by the reception people. They were very friendly and showed us the facilities and provide explanation about the attraction on the island. We were able to have an early check in at no additional cost. There is a little private beach just in front of the property where you can swim and snorkel. You can also walk to Beau Vallon following the shoreline at low tide.There are two giant tortoise in the garden that you can feed. The property managers are super helpful and nice. They provide a lot of information. We even got a free take away dinner on our last day.

One of the two rooms we had tended to smell a little moldy.

Gostitelji so zelo prijazni in gostoljubni. Naš apartma je imel pogled na morje in celo obalo Beau Vallon. Lastnik nam je priporočil oglede in pa možnost naročila hrane v apartma od lokalnega ponudnika hrane. Priporočamo, ker je hrana zelo dobra!! Tik ob apartmaju je tudi trgovina, več njih pa tudi v centru Beau Vallon. Ne smemo pozabiti omeniti tudi dveh domačih želv, ki smo jih z veseljem hranili z ostanki sadja.

Parfait, l'accueil a été incroyablement chaleureux, Cyril nous a donné beaucoup de conseils. Tous les membres du personnel sont souriants et s'appliquent à nous faciliter notre séjour(aidé pour les navettes, les voitures de location...).L'appartement est très beau et bien conçu. L'endroit est idéalement situé en face d'un spot de snorkeling et côté rue, on est juste à côté d'une supérette et de l'arrêt de bus. Je le conseille vivement !!😃

Ce n'est pas bien isolé du bruit extérieur mais c'est propre à la vie aux Seychelles où tout est ouvert. Et il manque une prise dans la salle de bain pour le sèche cheveux ou un miroir dans la chambre...mais ce n'est qu'un détail ! 😉

Great location, comfortable apartment. Everything we needed was there. They even provided a bbq when we wanted to make food over the coals, and Marks the handy man took the extra effort to show us how to do the traditional Creole bbq.

The staff was absolutely lovely!!! Outstanding service and cleanness. There is a coral reef right in front of the apartment. The morning snorkling is unbelievable...:)

We had a lovely stay, the entire staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and the apartment was well equipped with everything we needed.

I liked it’s own beach, sound of waves putting you to sleep at night and waking you up in morning. Andd closeness to the best beach on Mahi.

Excellent location, lovely views, comfortable beds, good showers. The staff were attentive and helpful.

We had a peaceful holiday on the beach. Host Pency, was always available to assist if we had any questions. Property is well kept, appliances are sufficiant for a self catering experience, Inhouse food deliviers are excellent and good value for money.

Grass on the property could be cut more frequently

Location is perfect. Near all shops, restaurants on the beach but not to near to be disturbed by noise. Staff is positive and very helpful. Room is clean and cozy. View is amazing. To be honest, it’s even better than we expected

The location is amazing. Right in front of an almost private cove. Close to some main areas. And easy access to Victoria and explorations. The facilities allow you to create a home away from home and choose to stay in and relax or head out. And, the staff were wonderful. Very helpful with information and an answer to any query and very friendly.

The Location is stunning, every morning we were having breakfast with a view on the ocean, and every night we fall a sleep to the sound of the waves. It is very quite there, no noise from outside at all. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. Everything was spotless clean and was cleaned daily. We booked the late checkout as we had a very late flight, which was a perfect option for us.

We did undererstimate how much time we would need to walk to the restaurants in Beau Vallon (It is more 20 minutes, but of course not the fault of the property)

The location was quieter than expected but an easy walk into Beau Vallon and a bus stop outside. We nearly did not book as the reviews of the beach were a bit mixed but we loved it and had the best snorkling on the reef just outside the cove that we had on Mahe. We had a good meal at the bar of the neighbouring hotel and the delivery food was great.

Bit of a lack of sound protection between units but our neighbour had a very loud voice.

Location. By the sea/beach. Beautiful to weak up /dine by the lovely little beach. Provided drinking water for the all stay and a start up kit : instant coffee milk salt and sugar. Family run business. Not a big fancy resort. Very kind and helpful staff. Thanks for looking after us! BTW: We had a late flight and they let us leave our languages at the property and let us to grab a shower before going to the airport !

Beach good to ‘bath’ but only OK for swimming as access is not that easy; need to calculate/catch the right time: with low tide…water is far back by the rocks. At high tide, beach disappears. Toons bit dated but the cove offer a prime location compared to the beach cottages next door-part of the same ‘resort’. Kayaks available but not very clearly ‘advertised ‘ and made easy to access/use …maybe I should have asked more info

The apartment (No1 Dorad) the right hand one as you look from the sea, although basic had everything we needed, the bed was comfortable the kitchenette had enough equipment and utensils to self cater whenever we felt like it, with bottled drinking water supplied for free, the bathroom was very clean with plenty of hot water and the outside space was amazing. The beach is right on your doorstep, the bus stop is right outside the gate to Beach Cove and Beau Vallon beach is less than 15 minutes walk away. There are two mini markets selling booze and basic provisions close by and easily walked too and if you hire a car the whole island is easily accessible from Beach Cove. Pency and his family looked after us from the moment we arrived to the moment we left, he had an abundance of knowledge about the island and pointed out the best places to visit, the apartment was cleaned daily if you wanted it, there were canoes freely available and even a beautiful complimentary meal was provided for one of our evenings. They even allowed us to stay a bit later than check out time because we had a late flight. We fully intend to return to Mahe and when we do we will try to stay at Beach Cove again, there is nothing quite like falling asleep to the sound of crashing waves less than 10 metres away from your bedroom. Oh and the Giant Land Tortoises just outside the back door were a delight.

Nice banglow right on the beach. Next to a supermarket and the main road to Bon Valon.

The beach is not very swimable and you need a car to move around.

The location was nice and away from city light, giving way for the most clear night sky view and the amazing stars. The beach is rock but lying in out beach beds outside our apartment and listening to the crashing waves in the middle of night was an amazing experience. Its about 20 mins walk from of the most busiest beach and area so that was good for getting food.

Gorgeous view. Were very nice and helpful. Provided tips, barbeque , help and fresh water, big plus!

The kitchen is in a separate room, no aircon and not most clean...

We loved it. We felt very welcomed and Pency gave us lots of very helpful information and showed us around. Our „room“ - which was more like a small apartment/house - was facing the sea and we could enjoy our meals on the small elevated Terrasse. The kitchen was well equipped. And we very much appreciated the large tank of drinking water (not something we would get in any of our holiday homes here during our trip). We very much enjoyed feeding our veggie peals to the two tortoises - and compared to other places they even had a more or less decent habitat. As we had no rental car we appreciated the bus stop just in front of the compound - it was actually very easy to navigate from there to ‘town’ and Victoria (and back); just important to be aware the the bus schedule is not much more than an indication of frequency (which supports getting in holiday mode). One more tip: the hike to Anse Major was really nice - and coming home by taxi boat felt a bit like an adventure.

Nothing to mention. If you don’t like it here, you’re going to have a hard time liking it anywhere 😉 (ok, maybe this: because of the weather/water situation we couldn’t really swim nor snorkel - there would be a little house reef -, and also the kajak made available by the owners couldn’t be used. But hey, that’s nature)

The apartment was very clean and big. Is close to beach and close to supermarket. Big free parking.

Very friendly owners, great location directly at the sea, high-quality kitchen appliances, very friendly tortoises in the garden who love your organic waste, free drinking water tank in the kitchen, there is an additional outer security gate at the door to the main room, which means that you can leave the door open during the night if you want to turn off the air con during the night.

The beach seemed not that ideal to swim since there are some rocks further into the water. We didn’t try it, though.

I recommend the facility, everything was OK, except for one thing. Before arrival, I paid the entire stay for 1050 Euro by credit card. Before leaving, the Booking.com consultant confirmed that the stay was paid. I took other cards with me to the Seychelles. The facility demanded to show the card which I did not have. Despite that the funds were on the hotel's account, the hotel canceled the transaction and forced me to pay again with the card I had, otherwise check-in was not possible. Various banking operations from this amount are 145 Euro. These additional costs are the result of the hotel's operation and especially Booking.com .Booking.com does not accept responsibility in such situations and does not stand on the side of its customers. Lovely sizeable appartment to stay right next to the beach with arguably the best snorkeling I've had on Mahe! There are also kayaks for rent where the team sets it up for you on request (for free). Kitchen is nicely equiped and with a big fridge. A grocery shop is right next door so getting food for yourself is really not an issue. Rooms are cleaned regularly and the hosts are one of the most hospitable people I've come across so far in my life. Can not recommend beach cove enough for your stay.

Nothing really to complain about. Water was provided for free regularly and towels were exchanged whenever required. Only thing really missing in the cove is a nice little barbecue ;) though I understand why the owners would not be so favorable of having tourists cook on an open fire

When we arrived the owner greeted us with welcome in paradise and it was really like a paradise to stay at this place. Everything is really thoughtful organized and you have everything you need there. Things that you may not think of, for example water supply for the whole stay. At the begining the owner took the time to explain everything and gave us tips about the island that were really helpful. They also orginized a car for us to rent in a really short notice. The garden and the beach near were also beautiful and at night perfect to stargaze with a glass of wine.

The A/C could have been a little bit better

Great Ocean view and a very helpful team. You can use the kayak and see the turtle in the garden. The kitchen is full furnished and shops are close.

The locanion was splendid. Very cosy, small and separate beach just next to the house. The service and owners were very nice. I really liked also the 2 big turtles:)

The view from our appartment was just fabulous! We stayed for 9 nights and mostly we just stayed at our own little beach, ideal for snorkeling and enjoying the quite atmosphere. We saw rays and dolphins and many fishes. The whole staff is so friendly, efficient and helpful. Our appartment was cleaned every day! Beds were great.The delivery food service is also a very good option for dinner. Definitely one of the best addresses I've ever stayed!

Owners are very kind and helpfull like probably everybody in Saychelles. We always feel save and comfortable and the beaches and nature here is really amazing. Next to accomodation is really nice beach and lot of shops or restaurants. We was there just 3 nights, but definetly you will need more if you want explore whole island. Hope that we come again one time :)

Service: great service, excellent welcome with elaborate explanations and recommendations. Location: great for snorkeling right out the door. Go past the first line of stones and there is a reef with lots of fish. Often also stingrays just out front. With a 5 minute walk you are on the beautiful beach of Beau Vallon. Closeby, you can get affordable and good food at the casino. Apartment: has great facilities, is clean. Beach chairs and table are present. Overall had a great stay despite being unlucky with the weather.

We were warmly welcomed by our gracious host who showed us the apartment and premises, then helped us with great local recommendations. The location and the apartment were both well maintained, perfectly clean and overall amazing: - comfortable bed - clean bathroom - well equiped kitchen - amazing view

I loved everything about Beach Cove! The staff were super helpful and knowledgable about the island. The accommodation was spacious, cool and clean and stocked with everything you need. The location was amazing - you have a private beach with snorkelling and tropical fish literally on your doorstep. They generously lend you snorkels (other places charge). Also there are giant tortoises!! I hope to return soon. 10/10

I loved everything about the property and wouldn’t change a thing

Beach Cove massively exceeded our expectations. I've been in 5-star hotels with less attention to detail than this place. The manager and all employees (security, cleaning staff... everyone!) are a pleasure to talk with, and they always offer to help with anything, even when you don't ask them to. The views from the bedrooms are stunning. The room is spacious, very clean, and comfortable to sleep on. Kitchen facilities have anything you may need. The information they provide about the facilities, the recommended locations around the place, the island map with key locations, etc, is invaluable. They recommend a specific food delivery catering. It is excellent. You can grab a kayak and get on the water from your room. What a great memory! Giant turtles as organic (fruit rests) recycling facility. The Internet in the room is reliable and fast.

TV is quite tiny for the room size and distance from the bed. But not an issue, especially when you have a stunning view just in front of your window.

The host was amazing. He provided us with a detailed overview on the facilities at the resort and also the locations we could visit during our stay. The beach is great for snorkelling though need to be a little careful with the sea urchins. The sunset looked amazing from the property
