Som pappa till sex söner vill jag av hela mitt hjärta tacka värdarna för all vänlighet, värme och den fantastiska hemtrevnaden. Ett särskilt tack för det varma mottagandet! Även om vi är en familj från Ukraina som numera har bott i Öregrund i 4 år, så kändes det precis lika mysigt här som hemma. Boendet är väldigt bekvämt och verkligen hemtrevligt. Från och med nu kommer vi definitivt att vilja bo här varje gång vi besöker Åre. Rekommenderas varmt! /Vitalii

Reviewed Apr 6, 2026Mysig och fin liten lägenhet som hade allt man behöver. Trevlig värd. Perfekt läge med några minuter att gå till och från WM8:an. Fin bastu avdelning nere i källaren. Hit kommer vi gärna igen!

Reviewed Apr 6, 2026Trevligt boende på fin gård med perfekt läge nära backen och gångavstånd till Åre torg. Parkering i nära anslutning till lägenheten, egen ingång med skåp för skidor. Lugnt fint läge och bekväma sängar. Ägarna var hjälpsamma och välkomnande vid frågor.

Location, communication, small finishing touches (personal note), friendly host & hostess, affordable, the views, walking distance (15 minutes ) from old town where all the restaurants are, ski in & out (very literally) - this place has everything you need. Would definitely recommend for friends & family! Can’t wait to visit Åre again.

Pesukone oli rikki ja saunatilat olivat muuhun tasoon nähden heikommalla tasolla. Pihahiekoituksesta sai vastata itse. Mutta nämä kolme asiaa eivät haitanneet joten 4/5. Ilman näitä 5/5.

Reviewed Jul 26, 2025The view was awesome and we could enjoy it fully while eating on the balcony. The location directly by the VM8 lift was a convenient starting point for all adventures, big and small. The facilities had all that we could ask for, from kids toys to a drying cabinet, and we could walk to Grädda bakery for fresh bread every morning.

Reviewed Apr 15, 2025We visited Åre for a week to ski in early April. The hosts were very flexible with the arrival time and communication was easy. The apartment was clean, comfortable and the kitchen was well equiped for home cooked meals. Remember to bring your own linens but you can also rent them from the host. MårtenLiens Gård is a walking distance away from the VM8 ski lift but unfortunately for us, there was no snow in the valley so we coudn't ski-in/ski-out. It is also a walking distance away from the the town with all the shops and restaurants. We had a rental car so having a car park was great.

Reviewed Aug 5, 2024A welcoming oasis in the middle of a somewhat featureless holiday appartment village. Lovely red-painted houses surrounding a lawn edged with flowers. The appartment was light, comfortable and nicely decorated. Nice lake views from the upper floor. The town area with shops and restaurants was an easy walk away.

Reviewed Jul 30, 2023We had a nice little apartment outfitted with everything that we required. It was walking distance to the town center, railway station and grocery store. Close to the chair lift. Lovely view across the lake. Lots of mountain biking and hiking trails
It would have been good to have a rack of some kind for drying clothes, as it rained a couple of days and we got very wet and nowhere to hang anything.
