Aquatika Beach Resort & Waterpark

The property was amazing! I think there were 5 different pools and a fun slide for kids (and adults, too😉). The private beach was close and never too crowded which is perfect when a family has some who want to go to the beach and some to the pool…. It was very safe and secure as well. Angel was a fantastic host who was always reachable for questions and support. You can’t go wrong staying at his property!!

Security is good so sometimes you have to wait in line to go through the gate, but not long. It’s worth it to be in a gated community!

The location was great in my opinion. Some previous reviews stated the area outside of the resort was sketchy. However, I frequented the area and found it totally fine with a 10 year old and 12 year old.

Here is my one complaint. I really didn't like the bracelets we had to keep on for a week. With children this is difficult. I would recommend that children not have to wear them. One other small thing is the resort needs some kind of drink machine or similar.

Great location on the beach, multiple pools on the property, along with mini golf, 24-7 security, tennis courts and water park, it has all the amenities you need.

It is a bit dated, but well kept and clean!

The apartment was very spacious and comfortable with everything inside including beach chairs, beach games etc

The water in the shower had a low pressure. There was not much to do in the area outside of the resort.

This is a safe and beautiful little oasis. Every morning, we sipped coffee on the balcony. The pools were being cleaned bright and early. Gated community, security was awesome. Our contact Angel went above and beyond to make sure our trip went well, especially being last minute. I can't recommend this enough. We are very impressed, so impressed we are booking again!!

There was nothing we didn't like. We knew the area outside of the condo wasn't esthetically appealing, but it has history. It's reflects the economy and natural disasters. The locals are kind. We never felt unsafe. In fact, they went above and beyond to help us. Just know your surroundings and know where you belong. El Parillas is a wonderful family restaurant next to the resort. Highly recommend!!

The condo was amazing. The beach is beautiful

The guard station was very frustrating when your staff has no clue how to get you to your building. The parking markers don’t correlate with the buildings. There are no building #s. Once checked in and you have bracelet and green card sign let us use the right lane. We waited up to 20+ minutes multiple times to get back onto the property

all three rooms were a good size, and nice to have 2 bathrooms. the grounds were well kept, ac was nice. Spent lots of time on the deck, and at mini golf. Hosts were fabulous- immediate response when we had a question.

there was no dishwasher, the pools were not heated, and the hot tub wasn’t what we would consider a hot tub in Canada. You need shoes for around the pool, that was very rough

The apartment is very well maintained will all amenities, including every possible kitchenware. It has its own beach, you need to check for keys from owner. Has number of pools for toddlers to adult. Gated and Safe at any time of the day.

Though it has everything, a dishwasher is something I missed. That said its very manageable and will not stop me from staying her again. Nothing to do with Property, my rented car's Catalytic convertor was stolen in one of the beaches nearby, so be very careful where you park your car.

For the price we could of done better some other place

The owner was very good with replying to my questions quickly. They gave me very good, detailed instructions to get to the location and with getting in.

I was a little disappointed with the pools and hot tubs. They could have done a better job cleaning and the jets should be allowed to be turned on at the location when you want to use them. We liked to go sit in it each night and many nights they were not operating. The furniture in the unit was like sitting in children's furniture and was a little tough for us older folks.
