Reviewed Sep 3, 2026De vriendelijkheid van de eigenaars. Het pand ligt in het centrum van Durbuy maar 's avonds en 's nachts is het heel rustig.. Je kan altijd bij de eigenaars terecht. Het leuke is dat ze Vlaams spreken. Toplocatie om terug te gaan

Steile trap om binnen te geraken. Dus niet voor mensen die slecht te been zijn.

De stijle trap was voor mij wat moeilijk. Mede omdat de trapleuning aan de onderkant los hing en aan de bovenkant te kort is. Omdat ik hoogtevrees heb, vond ik dat een beetje gevaarlijk. De trap naar de slaapkamer was prima.

Um aus dem Schlafzimmer ins Bad/WC zu kommen , muss man eine steile Treppe nach unten bewältigen. Nichts für gehbeeinträchtigte Menschen !

In the summertime, the loft bedroom can get warm. There is a fan provided for comfort.

There was a bit of noise from the street so we couldn't leave the window open at night (not a big issue as it was cold anyway). Sometimes there was a bit of a smell from the sewage but I don't think it's the hosts fault.

We loved the property but the very steep staircases make it unsuitable for anyone who is not 100% sure footed

We liked everything, no particular issues. The bedroom is in the attic which may only cause issues if you have trouble climbing stairs.

Reviewed Nov 16, 2023The host, Tina, immediately helped me when I had a problem, so I had a comfortable stay. When I come to Durbuy again, I would definitely like to stay at this hotel again :) Not only was the room nice, but I also had great memories of meeting the host.
The stairs to enter the inn are narrow, so if you have difficulty climbing stairs due to large luggage, etc., you should consider this in advance.

Reviewed Jul 13, 2023The service was the best ever. The owners came to the station of Barveaux to pick us up and even stopped by a store so we could go grocery shopping. Also the appartment was literally perfect! So clean, cosy, big... and the bed was awesome! Couldnt have been better.

The stairs are very steep. Not a problem for us but could be for some people. Be aware the nearest supermarket is a few miles away (no problem if you have a car but not so easy if you are cycling) but there is a bakery over the street for breakfast.
