Reviewed Mar 21, 2026The view from the igloo is amazing, especially when it is snowy. It snowed all night when we stayed there, which made the scene really magical.
Sometimes you could see people passing through the trail nearby, but it didnt bother us much.

Reviewed Mar 11, 2026It breathtaking views that change with the weather are amazing to experience. It has such an authentic design and feel. We did the husky experience via the hotel and loved it. Good walks and ski at your frond door.

Sängen var tyvärr väldigt oskön, samt kuddarna kändes väldigt använda.

Igloo fyysinen sijainti voisi olla hieman eri. Katuvalot hieman haittaavat tähtitaivaan näkemistä ja ohi kulkevasta liikenteestä tulevat valot ei oo kovin kiva.

Reviewed Jan 16, 2026EVERYTHING!!! It’s is a perfect gem of a spot, isolated and cute as!!!! Of all the igloos I’ve stayed it it was the best!!! And quite large!!
Just be aware it is a harder area of Finland to access, no bus only taxi! But the igloo is so well priced it’s worth it! Also bring food as the nearest store is a while away if you don’t rent a car :) if you do no worries (I knew this before booking but incase ppl aren’t aware) :)

Reviewed Jan 9, 2026Amazing igloo experience! Warm, cozy, clean and comfortable! Two small pull out beds for kids, pretty well stocked kitchen, heated floor, comfortable bed. Amazing views of snow covered trees both during the day and at night! Very cozy! Breakfast is a big plus although we slept in and missed it on one of their mornings!

Reviewed Jan 3, 2026Bardzo oryginalny obiekt z przeszkloną sypialnią. Okna można zasłonić i raczej trzeba to zrobić bo niedaleko jest droga. Ale widok super, szczególnie zimą. Łazienka i kuchnia malutkie ale są.

Café da manhã praticamente não existe, eram 6 fatias de pão, presunto e queijo já secos, e quase nada de variação. Melhor não ter o cafe incluso e diminuir o valor da hospedagem. Ficamos um pouco incomodados que passa uma rua bem ao lado do iglu, mas ás arvores ajuda a “camuflar” um pouco

Reviewed Sep 20, 2025Yöpyminen Syöte Igloossa oli juuri sitä, mitä toivoin: kompakti ja hyvin suunniteltu tila, jossa kaikki tarvittava oli käden ulottuvilla. Iglun varustelu oli toimiva – keittiö, kylpyhuone ja mukava sänky loivat kodikkaan tunnelman, ja maisemat lasikaton läpi oli erilainen kokemus. Ei häiriötekijöitä, ei liikenteen melua.

Måske ikke boligen når der er midnatssol og det aldrig bliver mørkt ☺️ meget øde og 8 km ned til il et åbent hotel med morgenmad.

Reviewed Mar 23, 2025Idyllic, private location, with self-check in and checkout give a feeling of luxury. Beautiful scenery. Great facilities, including free access to long snow shoes to explore the local cross country skiing trails. Gets very warm and cosy despite the low outdoor temperatures. Lovely shower and bathroom facilities.
May seem trivial, but was disappointed they had a filter coffee machine but didn't provide any coffee!

Reviewed Mar 4, 2024Beautiful igloo, well priced in comparison to other igloos, had a private bathroom, was quite private, spacious.
Location quite far from main town centre, lock box very hard to open so took us a long time to get into the property, igloo not numbered well so wasn't sure if we were at the right igloo. Breakfast was very average and a lot of it tasted off. Ad originally spoke of a sauna but there was no sauna.

Reviewed Feb 3, 2023It's cosy, quiet and very pretty. I like the idea, but it's not quite what I want from a break.
The bathroom was a joke. It's way too small, so there's water everywhere when you shower. Because Hotel Pikku-Syöte was closed, we couldn't get any meals at all, and I don't believe that was considered in the price. There was also nothing to do. There's no TV, which I can understand, but a radio or Bluetooth speaker would be nice, along with some board games. With the hotel closed, even nearby walks had not been looked after, and we had to give up because we kept sinking into the snow. The snowshoes were either child-sized or could not be adjusted to size, so we gave up with them too.

Reviewed Jan 13, 2023It is exactly one single igloo - not like most of the locations where igloos come in groups of 10+. Interior is good and size is fine for an igloo. Includes floor and even heating.
Alignment of igloo could be better. From the inside the left part is facing towards a street. It is not much of an issue as there were very few cars and no people walking around. Kitchen supplies are very limited. A simple bigger pot would add more options. Currently the nearby hotel is closed so there is literally just that igloo.

reception and restaurant was wayyyy to far to our liking. everywhere online it says you can come via bus but we tried and the only and best option to reach the location is via car.
