Senge, sidde møbler, stødende billeder på væggene, en fuldstændig nedslidt kælder hvor vaskemaskine og fryser stod. I der hele taget et slidt hus, og mange større malermester særlig på gulve på første sal.

Reviewed Jun 29, 2026The house was lovely and neat and cozy and had everything our five-person group needed for a weekend stay in Rjukan! We could park right in front of the house, and it was easy to get in with the lock box. Kitchen was very well-equipped, and we enjoyed having a barbecue outside. Location was great, with the nearest grocery store a short walk away and the town center within walking distance. Would be happy to stay here again!
Two reasons that I'm not giving the place 10/10: first of all, for five adults, having only one bathroom wasn't optimal. Secondly, the 2nd floor where all the beds are was very hot on a warm summer day. The downstairs was really well air-conditioned, but we couldn't figure any a way to make the 2nd floor cool. However, this won't be a problem except during unusually warm summer conditions.

Reviewed Mar 10, 2026Great location and very well equipped. Easy to find, easy check in/out and host was responsive. Perfect for an ice climbing trip with friends.
A little cold upstairs with only an electrical heater in the larger bedroom which was not very effective.

Reviewed Jun 4, 2024There were lots of cooking utensils in the kitchen.. the house was adequately clean,but not sparkling clean. Sheets and covers were old and needed to be replaced. Some of the windows up stairs and on the main floor could not be opened.. and surprisingly there was no second fire escape …just the front door.

Reviewed Sep 7, 2022Beautiful landscapes, shop close to the house, big garden, big holiday accommodation (whole house), big kitchen, we could use the washing machine.
There was work going on in the street at the time, which made a lot of noise. No bus to Gaustatoppen (you need a car).
